im almost 17 and i love going to disney to spend time with my family and at the pool and stuff. i don’t necessarily go on rides or anything but i like to wonder the stores and have meals and that type of thing. i hope this helps you.

I have slept on the sofa bed in a 2BR at CCV a couple times and found it very comfortable. Some of the sofa beds are different materials depending on the resort you go to. I personally like my mattress firm so the sofa bed is very comfortable for me.

We had to cancel our trip that was supposed to be today to monday and we are all so disappointed. Disney was super accommodating though and refunded our reservation entirely with no penalty because our state just declared state of emergency and asked everyone to stay home. Yes, just set it up to cancel the other reservation if it comes through, but I would stalk the availability as well. Be sure to cancel the waitlist if you find it through stalking because it will borrow points and that can’t be undone.

We travel in September most years and definitely prefer it to October. We plan some extra time at the hotel to cool off from the heat but will go in September over October any day with the crowds. As far as hurricanes go, we have never had a one interfere with a trip, but plenty of fireworks...

January can still be pretty busy. Even at 7 months there is very limited availability. It seemed like you may have known this but the guide was probably just trying to make a sale. The 11 month advantage is very important for buying where you want to stay because fill up faster and faster.

I believe its just the fastpasses now but I could be wrong. I think they got rid of the gift card incentive a few months ago, but again not positive about that.

I would do the 2BR because it’s nice to be close to family. If you guys prefer your space though for this part of the trip, the 2 studios would definitely be a better option, but the will likely not be right next door.

Oh, that’s what that was. I always assumed it was someone standing up because I’ve heard it has ab autostop if someone stands up and the cast member has to manually start it up again. Never seen it stopped before, but now I’ll have to pay more attention.

Not sure but when we were there for F&W in October, we didn’t have any trouble finding parking.

A couple months ago the lines were atrocious. It took 15-20 minutes to get through bag check in the heat (at low times) but I heard they recently modified the entrance and made it faster to get through. I would expect it might take a little bit longer than usual.

Its possible but since they haven’t done jt around any other anniversaries, I personally don’t think they will.

When we stay on DVC points, we often do a cash night at a different resort the first day of our trip and have no problems at all. At CCV, there are nice changing areas with showers by the boulder ridge pool, so swimming shouldn’t be a problem as long as you have your suits with you.
