    Great Maple restaurant now open

Micechat's November 20th update has pictures of the menu with prices. I'd post the link but I'm not sure if it's allowed.

Renewed my MK - tips + park report, pics + maps offer

Interesting! The movie was very well written...funny but also sweet and touching in a way I wasn't expecting. I hope you get to see her perform this week! And thanks for the location info. We'll look for it next time we visit.

Renewed my MK - tips + park report, pics + maps offer

@WonkaKid Great pictures as always! Would you mind sharing where the Madame Leota costume was on display? We really enjoyed the movie and her costume was a stand out. (That headpiece!) I would love to see it in person.

Closest and most convenient hotel to Disneyland - Not Disney-owned

Their pool is in the middle of the parking lot, but it is surrounded by a fence (and last time we were there, the fence was covered with greenery). It's not fancy but nice enough, and my kids always enjoyed swimming there. The Desert Inn is also right near the crosswalk and has an indoor...

Harbor Blvd hotels with family suites

I second the Desert Inn & Suites. It's near the Harbor crosswalk and we enjoyed our stay there. Here is a description of their rooms: https://www.anaheimdesertinn.com/rooms-and-suites.htm

    Park Vue questions

We preferred rooms near the back of the hotel because we felt like it was quieter, but we've stayed in many different locations there and I'm not sure it actually matters. We always slept with the fan on the AC unit running which helped with noise. If they're launching fireworks when you're in...

    Aladdin tea set

This looks like the right teapot...if you look at reviews there are pictures of it in the box. Doesn't have the genie box though. https://www.amazon.com/Disneys-Beautiful-Whimsical-Polished-Beverage/dp/B07R54NG87

Lockers, rope drop, weather oh my!

There are also lockers in the esplanade. When you're facing the entrance to DCA, they're just outside and to the left (east of DCA's turnstiles.) Might be a good option if you'll end your day in Disneyland.

How to Visit Grand Californian from Inside DCA?

We tried to re-enter DCA once before 10am and were denied because we weren't hotel guests. We'd left the park to get coffee at the hotel because the Starbucks line was super long. Prior to that we'd had no problems with re-entry, but always at lunch time or later.

Park Vue or Desert Inn & Suites?

We've stayed at both places and I would also choose Park Vue Inn, even without breakfast. Although I'm pretty sure they don't have elevators (for public use), so if stairs are a problem you might want to see if they can put you on the 1st floor.

    San Francisco > Monterey> LA > Disneyland

Clear kayaks sound amazing. The water really is so clear...when my kids were young they had cheap-ish underwater cameras and their Tahoe videos always turned out really well. You'll probably be tired after a day at the lake but if you are interested in theater, the outdoor amphitheater at Sand...

    San Francisco > Monterey> LA > Disneyland

What area of Tahoe? So many things to do depending on which side of the lake you're staying in. The weekend you're there will likely be extra busy due to the 4th. Not necessarily a bad thing, but a good idea to expect it and anticipate extra traffic around the lake and the need to plan ahead for...

    Hotel with two bathrooms?

We enjoyed staying the the Desert Inn & Suites. It's one of the closest hotels to the crosswalk on Harbor, so an easy walk. They have a couple of different suites with two bathrooms. Their C1 Suite has 1 & 1/2 baths...which could possibly be a more affordable option if that would work for your...

    Car Service to Crypto Center?

What a fun side trip! Unfortunately I can't offer car service advice other than to say don't trust the ride share info on crypto.com's website. We were there last weekend and were not able to use one of the two designated white curb pick up zones, as the street was blocked off to incoming...

    SoCal transportation

Have you looked into MidWilShuttle? https://www.midwilshuttle.com/ We've never used them but I have seen their name come up on the boards as an option from LAX to the parks. You could search their name here for posts with experiences/reviews. They are able to provide a quote in advance. You...

Please help a mom w motion sickness!

I feel you...there are a few things I just can't ride. On Disneyland's website it says the following for Big Thunder, Space Mountain and Matterhorn: "Children under age 7 years must be accompanied by a person age 14 years or older." I imagine the other thrill rides are the same but didn't check.

    What hotels do you recommend?

Question about the walk from the Home 2 Suites...are you able to cut through the parking lots behind the hotel toward McDonalds to get to Harbor? Or do you have to walk up Manchester and around Mimi's to turn onto Harbor? It's difficult to tell in Google Maps...even w/aerial view.

What has happened to California's Great America now?

We were there two days ago. It was a great day! The park was very clean, the landscaping and plants were so pretty, and there was plenty of seating. I saw a lot of Peanuts characters walking around or stationary for pictures/meets. I think it officially opens for the season in May, but they were...

Grand Legacy or Desert Inn & Suites?

We've stayed at both and between the two would pick Desert Inn. I don't remember the beds being a problem. Grand Legacy is not a bad walk, but the closer the better for us. Also our 2 queen room at Grand Legacy was set up so that the sink area was inside the bathroom with the toilet and shower...

Safe/clean hotel near LAX (or So-Fi/Forum) with self-parking in & out privileges?

Thanks so much for the response. The maps were very helpful as I hadn't been looking in that area before. It looks like the HGI and DT have parking lots which is a plus. I really appreciate it. Thanks for your response and the suggestion to look at you tube for reviews. Very helpful. I hope you...
