    Disneyland in an RV

Hi- I was wondering if anyone has experience in visiting DL in an RV. I am torn between staying in the RV at on of the RV Parks and using ART or staying in one of the nearby resorts. Will the Good Neighbor hotels have RV parking?

Motel 6 Maingate- is it clean? Safe?

Someone has asked my opinion of the Motel 6 for an inexpensive get away to Disneyland. I've never stayed there- with all consideration that this is an economy motel- all they really want to know is is it clean and safe. I checked one review online and it showed a needle on the floor! Is that...

    shampoo question

We are a family of 5 staying in a 2 bedroom at AKL for 5 days on rented points. I understand housekeeping will come only on the 4th day. Will I need to bring shampoo or is what they supply enough for 5 people, 4 days? It's going to be hot so I suspect there'll be showers everyday

    Rented points

Hi- I am staying at Kidani in a 2 bedroom villa on rented points. I know housekeeping only comes every 4th day to replenish towels, coffee and shampoo but what about dishwasher and laundry soap? Should I bring extra? I will only be staying 5 nights and don't plan on using the dishwasher much...

EB TransA dinner "feels" an hour earlier each day b/c time change?

We just got off this years' TA and didn't really feel the time change at all. On the fist of second sea day a reminder was left in the room to turn the clocks ahead an hour before bed or upon waking. This was done every day until the clocks in sync with local time. We had early dinner and it...

Paleo (not palo) on the Disney Cruise Line

It's not a "diet" per se, more of an eating style like vegetarianism; though my husband did lose a ton of weight and his joint pain is practically non existent. Personally, I could never do it....no grains ( pasta, bread, cereal) no dairy, no legumes, no corn or soy. Basically all my husband...

Paleo (not palo) on the Disney Cruise Line

Yes, we had our TA note it on our reservations. Since the dining staff rotates with you, you won't need to explain your limitations over and over. Even at the quick service stations he was able to ask for burgers without buns and swarma without pita.

Paleo (not palo) on the Disney Cruise Line

My husband and I just got off the Magic; he is Paleo and was very well accommodated. Each night after dinner he was shown the next nights menu. He would choose items and the chef would readjust them for his diet. The chef even made him a special dessert each night, plus gluten free bread rolls...

Anyone just off Magic Transatlantic sick?

I have chills and fever and feel just awful. Could be something I caught on the flight home but curious if anyone else feels ill. Irony is I did great during those rough seas

Thoughts from prior Pacific Coastal (Repo) Cruisers about potential wind/rough seas

I am very nervous about getting sea sick but found that if I am proactive and take the Bonine 2 days before I even board the ship, and then continue through-out, I am fine. I did the Repo cruise 2 years ago and we had rough seas...my (adult) daughter didn't like my strategy because the Bonine...

Upcoming Transatlantic - will I need a coat?

Sailing May 15th. Bringing a close knit poncho, hat, gloves and a light windbreaker that can be layered with a heavy sweater. I'm assuming that the indoor areas of the ship will be kept at a comfortable temperature but I have no idea what to expect outdoors. I'd like very much to sit outside and...
