They make these cool shoes for kids with a squeaker in the heel. The kid has to put their foot down correctly to get the squeak out. If he’s looking for sensory input, the squeak would give him that. It has the bonus of making it easier to keep track of the kid when they run (ask me how I know :p).
There’s the Casey Jr splash pad area in MK by Dumbo. And Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a “railroad” so the cars are train themed, if he can handle roller coasters. If not, might want to see that one from the island or paddlewheel.
We were just at WCC last week for brunch and they were as amazing as always for allergies. If Mickey waffles are your thing, they do have a waffle meal with berries and they are really good about substituting. That’s one thing we really like about WCC, they have the AYCTE skillets and regular...
Different restaurants have different side options. Where are you looking at menus? Not all the sites are up to date.
If you have the MDE app, you can start an order at QS without being onsite or actually ordering anything to see the current options.
Pretty sure none of the windows at the All-Star Resorts are supposed to be opened. There’s no screens so the room would be overwhelmed with bugs after just a couple of guests.
I’m 37 and 5’2” and still pass for early 20s. I’ve been mistaken for a kid for way too long so I’m glad I finally moved up to college student! It definitely gets annoying sometimes and other times it’s fun to roll with it.
Back when DH and I were still dating, we attended a tkd tournament and...
Eating at the California Grill has been a dream for several years but I’ve pretty much written it off now that’s pre-fixe. I have several allergies and the menu isn’t friendly at all. There isn’t a single appetizer I could eat and the only desert would be the kid’s fruit. That’s pretty normal...
Team cat! Dogs are too happy and I’m a sourpuss all the way. :P
I will say though that Petfinder is awful. We kept getting the same cat recommendation for weeks after the shelter told us she’d been adopted.
Thanks for the reply. I’ve contacted Special Diets and used the form before since I have multiple allergies outside of the Top 9 but haven’t in several years. So many times the chefs either never get them or it goes to a chef who won’t be there. Fortunately the chefs are almost always amazing...
My first trip was 1985 for Christmas at just a few weeks old. Apparently I was such a quiet baby that my parents forgot I was even there until my older brother reminded them about 30 years later. First trip the rest of us remembered was camping at Fort Wilderness the summer of 1989. My dd’s...
I would be surprised if there was no ability to heat the cabins; but winter in central Florida lasts around a week and that week changes every year. You’re more likely to need the AC during the winter than heat. I live an hour north of Disney and think we turned on the heat maybe 4-5 times at...
We live an hour away too and have found that 2-3 nights was the sweet spot at those ages. We tried a 5 night trip at 16-months and that was too long. Now that’s DD is 3, we’re going to try a week trip with the grandparents to their beach condo. If she gets squirrelly, at least there will be more...
Sounds like an ECV really will give you the freedom you are looking for. If it’s a matter of pride, ask yourself: do you want to have fun or do you want other people to think you are a “tough guy” without knowing anything of your situation? An ECV is just a tool like a calculator, glasses, or...
We’ve been to all three meals several times and I have noticed that they always do fewer, if any antics, during breakfast. Our last two meals this year were during dinner. Maybe it takes the restaurant a while to wake up?
Not the OP either but we just ate at WCC a week ago. It was out second time this year and there were antics both times. This time we were sat in the little patio area in the back instead of the main dining room. We had napkins rained on us and our server told us to throw something at her if we...
You might enjoy Boulder Ridge or Copper Creek. The Wilderness Lodge area is nice and relaxing. You can take a boat over to MK to hop on the monorail or take a bus to Fort Wilderness. Geyser Point is one of the best restaurants with a beautiful view of the lake.
