I just ordered these on an Amazon Lightning Deal for $89.99. I wanted to get my sister gold earrings for Christmas. My planned budget was $75, so these were a little over budget. I know jewelry is expensive, and $75 probably wouldn't go very far. So, was this worth the price?

I don't wear much jewelry, and never buy it myself, so I have no idea what is or isn't a good price. I still have time to cancel the order if I need to, I think.

I buy jewelry all the time and that is a good deal, you did not get ripped off. Especially for 14k gold and the cost of gold. Their pretty!!

Hello ladies!! I have been MIA for a while! Had to get stuff in order at home, at our office, and with my son's school for our Nov Disney trip!! We had a wonderful time, great weather, crowds were mostly low, some days were almost a med...but it was great!!
Then we had Tday..hope you all had a great little break and got some good family time...I know several of you are BF people...so I know you enjoyed your day! I avoid it like the plague!
Back in the everyday routine again...Sun is my older sons bday-16!!! And no idea what he wants..he of course wants a vehicle, but I don't see that happening! LOL...he was working ,but when he went to school (we are homeschoolers) it changed his day of course, and he isn't working now....so that idea is out...will see what he decides to do for bday and Christmas...as of now I am at a loss!!!
DD is pretty much finished,...ds12 is halfway finished, just have extended family (which will be easy), some very good friends (movie gc's, stuff like that)that we do family gifts for, and stocking stuffers and we are good to go!!
Hope ya'll are enjoying nice weather and a stress free time...y'all have done really well on early shopping! I am proud of ya!!!

It's December!! I hope you guys are making good progress, there isn't much time left

I finished up my Grandmother, dh's Grandparents and my FIL. I still have to get my Dad's gift. I decided I'm getting him a new TV so I'm just waiting to find a good price. I really wish I thought of that before BF, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that somebody will have a great sale before Christmas

I got my Grandmother the Willow Tree Nativity Creche. She has the figures but she just displays them on a table, now they will have a proper place to go.

Dh's Grandparents are getting a GC to their local grocery store. They do not really go anywhere, and they don't need any more stuff in their house.

Since dh hasn't given me any ideas for FIL, I got him a Harbor Freight GC. I know he'll like it but I really wanted do something other than a GC.

I now will only have 2 nieces or nephews to buy for, unfortunately I have no idea which ones yet. We pick names since there are so many kids, but we haven't yet.

Yesterday I got a note from one of the mom's in my ds' class asking for money to go towards a gift for the teachers. I will send it in, so that leaves me 4 less people I have to shop for I am giving the bus drivers Dunkin Donuts GCs, just need to go get them.

Keep an eye on Best Buy for the tv, but also amazon. Amazon has a Haier 32" tv for $199 with free shipping. The price fluctuates, because it's like a $100 off, so you could go on there today and it be $329 but later on it will be bac down to $199. Not sure if that's the size your looking for but hope it helps I got my dad a tv for christmas too, and ened up getting a deal of the day on best buy for a 37" for $239

I think I am just about done. I need to get a couple of gift cards for bus drivers and I need to find another small toy for DS7's stocking. You would think his would be easiest, but my older kids were actually easier this year, he just doesn't play with toys. Maybe I'll get him something different to draw/write with. I bought a bunch of candy today so I think I'm good with that, last year I had to send DH out for candy on Christmas Eve because one of the boys didn't have as much as everyone else so he got what he could at the gas station I may have over-bought trying to avoid that this year.

I still need to get gift cards for 3 main teachers and 5 specials teachers. I figured the gym, art, spanish, technology and music teachers probably rarely get a gift so I am going to get them each a $5 dollar gc to a gas station or Dunkin donuts and have the girls write a note thanking them for all they do.

I am going to make my dad a photo gift of some sort.

I need to get my other sis and her hubby a giftcard to the Movie Tavern.

I need to make dh his beef basket of love.

I have to get my other nephew something Lego. Boys are sooooo hard to buy for, its like a foreign language!

I am going to make my sisters both collage pictures with pics of them and Mom as they were growing up and frame them with a rose petal from the funeral.

I also want to get something for my Moms best friend, who is like a 2nd mother to me, but she is so hard to buy for.

Sounds like a lot left, but mostly gift cards so thats pretty easy.

I have to start working on the surprise to tell the girls we are going to Disney for Christmas!
I think we are going to have box sitting on the porch, someone ring the doorbell and leave, and have the box filled with balloons and a letter telling them that they are going to Disney tomorrow! They will be shocked!
I bought them each their own rolling duffle bag, one is pink and the other zebra and lime green! Atleast they will be easy to find at the lugagge pick up!
I have some things to give the girls while we are at Disney, like pin sets, disney shirts, autograph books, vinylmations, disney stuffed animals, cups and a few other things.

Can you believe Christmas is in 3 and a half weeks?

Okay so I'm new to this whole Santa thing as our little one is only 18 months. Last year she was still so little she only got a few things. So little by little I've been buying over the year in order to budget Christmas. Well yesterday I decided to pull everything out from all the hiding places to wrap and she has somehow ended up with 63 gifts lol.

I really don't think I've spent that much because at this age toys are so cheap. I'm grateful we have a couple years before the electronics come into play. But I gotta try and take some of this back. I even got her doubles on some stuff I had apparently forgotten I had already bought. I'm going to give some to Toys For Tots too. I just feel like idiot.

Oh well, rookie mistake I suppose!

So dd5 found a Madame Alexander doll at Costco yesterday for $29.99. She used her birthday money to buy it. I already bought the My first Belle Doll and I swear they look like twins! Now I'm thinking I should return the Belle Doll. There's also a possibility my MIL might get her an AG doll. She asked about those and I said I wasn't sure if she would like it or not.

Anyway, I would love to come up with something else that dd didn't ask for and would be so excited to get. I just can't think of anything!
