    Booked and nervous of crowds

The only crowds that ever really dampened my experience was due to poor planning on my part, hitting Epcot on the last day of F&W. lol We wanted to stay right through that day until Illuminations, but the WS was just absolutely wall to wall and it was so bloody hot, I had to sing to myself...

    Please ease my fears!

I didn't spend the day looking at FP's on my phone, I had booked our 3 that we absolutely wanted, and we worked around those. If we were at a table service lunch and we had used our fp's already, I would take a minute and check to see if any further ones we wanted were available, but otherwise...

Epcot Saturday pm during F&W--exactly how bad will it be?

We were there in the afternoon/early evening during one of the last days of it, and omg. Never again. It was shoulder to shoulder packed at times in WS and I had to sing to myself as I wheeled my stroller through the masses so I didn't have a full on panic attack. lol We ended up leaving...

Magic Kingdom closing early Monday December 2?

It was the hardest part of planning our trip during that time, I hadn't had to plan around Christmas parties before on our trips and we also only had 2 nights our entire stay that it was open regular hours with no party. So, on one of those days I booked the fireworks dessert party with garden...

What park do you enjoy to spend your last night in?

We start and end at MK as well. This past trip we had to be out early because it was a party night, so I booked us a dinner at 1900 PF for 6pm. We had plenty of time to get over there, tour around GF, have a fabulous meal with the best character interaction of the trip (my son LOVED the...

6 day base ticket or 5 day park hopper

I agree about park hoppers during Christmas/Halloween party times. We absolutely used ours for that reason... there were only 2 non-party days our whole 9 day trip in November, so we were park hopping quite a bit actually.

    Rope Drop Na'vi

We walked right on Navi at rope drop, and by rope drop I mean we weren't in line being held. We just happened to get to the park about 5 minutes before opening and went straight to Navi. No wait whatsoever for us that day.

Magic Band worth it for one trip every 5 years?

haha my aunt was only in the parks for 3 days and won't be back for who knows how long, and she bought a band in AK because she wanted the Pandora one. lol

9:10AM arrival - what would you do?

I wouldn't waste a whole day on a park on an arrival day if you don't have it already accounted for in your schedule for use of your 6 park days. If it would take away from a full day during your trip, definately not. I'd take in the resort, go to Disney Springs, have a nice dinner and relax...

    Help...newbie

We had 9 days in November, which was our longest trip yet, and still didn't get everything on our list done... and we had no down days without going to a park for at least half of the day. I'd do at least a week to really see and enjoy as much as you can.

PPO at Tusker House and Navi?

We did rope drop Navi and walked straight on (we weren't actually IN rope drop, we arrived right behind), and then went over and did the safari (best one I've been on in all my trips at that hour), and then hit our 10:30 breakfast adr at TH. So definately would be what I would do in your case!

TSM waits after signing up for Jedi Training

Yes, we went and signed up first thing before our pre-park ADR while everyone was lined up to get to TSL as per our plan of attack... and in the end it wasn't necessary to get there so early just for that. At noon they were still filling slots.

How to spend the last day?

Our last day was a party day, and we weren't staying for the party. We booked our fp's to end right around 5pm, then had an adr at 1900 PF at 6:30 to end the trip. And I always make my last ride Peter Pan, it's my thing. lol

Poll: Your Plans for Galaxy's Edge

While I do not have a next trip planned at all right now... I'm VERY happy I just went in November and not this year. lol While we really enjoy Star Wars and know we would spend time there for SURE... I will gladly wait for another trip until at least a year after it opens. DHS is going to be...

    Whats the deal with MVMCP?

I have now been to both. I loved both. It was my first MVMCP and the parade and fireworks alone were worth it to me, that parade was fantastic!! And walking down Main Street with snow falling is something that is near and dear to this northern girls heart. It was like bringing my heart and...

Do I need to see Rivers of Light?

We missed it. :( It was another very hot day (for us northerners) and my son was wanting to take a break and head back for a swim, and we ended up having supper and a swim at the resort and there just wasn't enough time to get back for it.

Na'vi River Journey - EPIC Disappointment

We didn't mind it, but we went at park opening while everyone was lined up for FOP. We got to the park a tiny bit after it opened, it was a 9am opening and I think we got to the gate at 9:05 and walked over there first and we were able to walk straight on with no wait. I definately wouldn't...

Jedi training - should I drop this reservation?

We did an 8:45 reservation and they were letting people in early for TSL as well, so I was worried but we got there and had our pick of all time slots. Even when we went by after breakfast, kids were still getting spots in most of the time slots. I don't think you'll have to worry.

MK "Happily Ever After" Dessert Party (Parties) Discussion

We did the before party with plaza garden viewing on the 10th. The food was great, we all found more than a few things we really enjoyed and my son loved the sparkling cider and the smores on a stick. lol And having so much space with nobody elbow to elbow while looking over at the packed hub...
