Which attractions have single rider lines?

I love SRL with the Matterhorn and GRR. My grandkids go over and over which you can't do with fastpass. We use FP but after we used it we use single rider. You are all right about Soarin', they cm's will tell you it's not worth it either.

UPDATED: MagicBands will NOT be coming to Disneyland

Boy, I am totally confused. Even the explanation was confusing. What is the magic band good for? Is it because your tickect and hotel key are all in one wrist band. Can you load fast passes on it. If so that sounds knd of cool, what is the objection?

Star Wars themed lands announced for DL and DHS

I really dislike toontown and find it incredibly tacky. I would like it better if it wasn't so "cartoony". I know silly but it seems so unlike Disney. If Walt wanted his place to look cartoony he would have done Fantasyland that way. I've been going to DL since 1962 and I'm still mad they took...

    single rider vs. fast pass

Even the guy who was directing single rider at soarin' told us not to do it. It works great for grizzly river run and matterhorn. We never waited much more than 5 minutes and you can go over and over. We did fast passes also, no reason not to use both.

    Another Hotel thread!

I like the Hilton and towers and sometimes they have GREAT deals, like $100. or less. This time I'm staying at the majestic which used to be a Sheraton. Very nice, big rooms, restaurant on site, and dedicated shuttle which is wonderful at night. $119.00 a night.

    Bought the wrong tickets

I'm so stupid. I bought four 2 day tickets at the grocery store and didn't realize I bought all children's tickets, not adults. Of course the grocery store won't take them back. I'm assuming I can upgrade at the gate. Do I need to go to that little kiosk in the center between the parks? How...

    Crowds before Thanksgiving

My daughter and 3 grand children are coming out for Thanksgiving. They think they want to go to Disneyland while they are here. My daughter thinks it will be horrendously busy and wants to go to Legoland instead. They will be here Nov. 20th through 28th. Thoughts?

    refurb schedule

I did a little research on google and answered my own question. Nope it isn't closed. My grand kids will be thrilled.

    refurb schedule

I was sure I read the Matterhorn was going to be closed in august, but when I went on DL calendar page I didn't see anything on the refurb schedule except Blue Cellar. We will be there the first week in August.

Observations and Tips from July 6-11 Trip

Gosh I hope so as my grand kids love the single rider pass. I think it might be closed when we are there though (Aug. 5, 6, and 7th)

Non "prime" spot suggestions to see Paint the Night....

I'm curious also. I'm taking my grand kids. This will be the first time we will stay late enough to even see the fireworks. I am not going to wait anywhere more than 30 minutes, so I don't expect great, but I assume since they go off in the sky you will see the majority of them from almost anywhere.

A random what would you do?

One thing about Disneyland as opposed to Disney world is that it is smaller and less tiring. Going back to your hotel is no big deal. Also everything isn't so far apart so not as much trudging around. Take her, take your camera and make magical memories.

    ****Official August 2015 Check-In Thread****

I am coming to DL and CA August 11th to 13th. I'm coming with my three grandchildren ages 12, 12, and 15. I think we are staying at The Sheraton which has a new name now. I like that they have a dedicated shuttle. I've stayed there a few times. Nice restaurant, room service, BIG rooms and great...

    "secret hotels"

Thanks for the advice. Not sure what a "better bidding" site would be. I have time so I will keep looking. The price of the Hilton is only $129.00 the time I want to go anyway. Maybe I'll just play it safe.

    "secret hotels"

I'm thinking of taking one of those great deals on those hotel sites. One of the deals is for a 4 star hotel in convention south for $89.00. I think the only 4 star hotels there are the Hilton and the one across the street. Has anyone booked one of the four star ones? either one is fine with me.

Paint the Night Parade and Disneyland Forever Fireworks Strategy

I agree. I don't understand sitting on hard pavement to watch any parade.
