I hope that they keep the technology us cruisers need to use to a minimum. I will never have my phone on during a cruise, and my ipad mini is cumbersome to carry around all the time just so I can have the Navigator with me. I would also be worried about it walking off while we are swimming. When we were on the Celebrity Edge, their app not only allowed you to view the daily, but to control the room functions. We tried it once but found it to be not as useful as the paper sheet. We always highlight the activities we want to do on the sheet.
If
DCL does this already thumbs up to them, but the daily sheets should be available in the apps in a pdf view that would allow you to view the whole sheet at once.
Also I am totally fine with concierge/suites and giving them there own area. The only thing I hope they don't do is make the mistake of giving them the only forward facing or aft facing views like they did on the Edge. That was somewhat disappointing, but some other things did offset that, magic carpet, that DCL wouldn't be able to do.
Adding more up charge dinner options that allow kids in as well would be great. We would still do the mdrs only, but I am guessing with more people using the new options, it would keep the sound level down in the mdrs. The mdrs should also be designed to minimize noise. The rooms being so open can make it almost impossible for me to have a conversation across the table when the dining room is full. It would be nice to be able to have a conversation over dinner and discuss the highlights of the day. Perhaps some walls or spacing the tables further apart?
I do like the water slides, especially the Aquadunk on the Magic. Even though I am middle aged I love water slides and will maybe go on them way too much
I agree with many that the adult pool on the classics should be brought to the Wish, and possibly supersize it a bit. The main pool on the Edge was I believe 25 M and it was amazing, not sure if something like that would work for DCL since they like to cover the pool and use it as deck space.
Lastly a nice solarium area. The three non DCL ships we have been on do this very well. The areas are very nice and peaceful, hopefully DCL can work in something like this and figure out a better flow so that kids don't need to walk through to get to places.
