I quickly got her in direction of I95 then down to I4. Both are a disaster with traffic and construction.

Since she drove all that way for sight seeing, you should have driven further south to the 528 and missed all the construction on I-4.

Michael we are in 710. We have been on the road and just catching up on Dis and it sounds like you were at the fort this afternoon and would not need a taxi. if you change plans to come this evening give me a call. Safe trip home.

Michael we are in 710. We have been on the road and just catching up on Dis and it sounds like you were at the fort this afternoon and would not need a taxi. if you change plans to come this evening give me a call. Safe trip home.

Well, we were around the Fort from about 1pm until about an hour ago. @Flametamr was kind enough to leave me access to his golfcart to use around the Fort. We toured the whole place over. I went by everyone's site. Saw @serenitygr and her family including several small dogs with painted toes, a pair of lizards, and a fluffy dog named Peaches that sounded like she wanted to chew on some stranger's legs. Namely mine. Cute dog though, awfully shiny teeth though...

Great visit Melissa and Joe. Enjoy the rest of your stay.

On the second trip through we met @tltay2005 and her husband. Very nice folks, and a great site backed up to the canal. Appreciate the hospitality.
We went by sites 2035 (@KornBred ), 1021 (@JETS70 ) but didn't see anyone around. Maybe on a next visit.

We toured all the loops and stopped for snack and Coke at the Meadows. Out front was a pumpkin patch display.

Thanks to Fametamr, I was able to tour the whole campground. I got sites of just about every site and the decorations. Sorry, way too many to post them all but here are some samples.

Michael Happy to see you got over to the Fort and make the rounds. Where Peaches id concerned I would recommend that First you wear PANTS Second don't go and hang out with The Boys before going to meet her.

Pluto67 Have you been on the road since CC at RR all day that is one long haul nearly 700 miles by count.

I learned last year that Flametamr is like a secret weapon at the Fort. He appears easy going, happy go lucky, but Halloween is his thing and he knows people. We took him around on our golf cart with his DD last year and he knows the Fort Halloween regulars (and they knew him). I was suitably impressed.

Enjoyed our morning ride although it was a bit chilly

@tltay2005 did you hear the water parade from your site last night? Rumor has it, they turned down the sound due to complaints. I have mixed reviews on some hearing it and some not from the full hookup sites. I know cloud cover and wind will play a factor too.

Yes, we can still hear it, and the boat horns. Louder some nights, just depends on the wind.

Had a great week so far. Got most of the decorations up. The family made it in around 3am today. After they sleep late we are going to MK. Tomorrow we will go shopping and then to mnsshp. I will post pictures later. For some reason my phone won't do that. I have checked out some of your sites. Just haven't caught you there. Hey tltay any way to edit the first page after Sunday with everyone's site number ?
