Is it still possible to walk around Hourglass Lake, and over the bridge to AOA? I’m just wondering if that area is off limits because of skyline construction.
Yes, the bridge is still open.

Yes, it is still possible to walk across the bridge. There is a construction wall up that runs down the centre of the length of the bridge but you can walk across the bridge just fine.Is it still possible to walk around Hourglass Lake, and over the bridge to AOA? I'm not sure how often I'd use this but I will say I'd be much more likely to walk out of my resort room without remembering to put on my MB as opposed to walking out without my phone. Can see it being handy in a case like that!
Yes, it will for sure. You may find it easier to manouver in and out of the room if the second bed is up but even with it down it is quite doable.I have a question. I have a scooter and have booked a room at POP for my December trip Will the scooter fit with the two beds?
I am worried about that myself. Such a crazy detour for Pop. Why do they always put Pop, with the most amount of guests, at the furthest stop???? We may just take the rental to HS.Looking for personal experiences of people at Pop this week and in the days to come.
New, temporary bus stops have been opened at Disney's Hollywood Studios and as seems to be the norm, Pop's stop is the furthest away. We are bus stop number 1 in the picture below. Entrance to the park is the green line that goes up and to the right between stops 12 and 13. The left picture below gives a better idea of where the now closed bus loop was.
Is there anyone who is currently at the park who is willing to time their walk from park entrance to the Pop load zone? I've heard it could be a 20 minute walk which seems FAR but, I'm also not there to time it for myself. I have a couple of families visiting next week and going to ask them to time their walk but wondered if anyone who has walked this (small marathon) route could share their actual experiences with us. Thanks!
I'll be at HS Wednesday 8/22 for sure, possibly sooner. I'll try to remember to time it and also check the distance on my fitbitIs there anyone who is currently at the park who is willing to time their walk from park entrance to the Pop load zone? Thanks! I'm hoping 20 minutes is an exaggeration but the fact that Disney has installed a 'cooling bus' (per the article) for people to step into and rest has me thinking this estimation may not be far off.I'll be at HS Wednesday 8/22 for sure, possibly sooner. The buses will not be going back to the former loop. It is now permanently closed.Any idea when the refurb will be complete and the buses moved back?
That will really depend on the people around you. I would say that I heard no more noise than I did in the past but others have found them to be more noisy.Since the rooms are now carpetless at Pop, any more noisy?

I hope you’re right! Just going by the article do hoping people share actual experiences here.I don't see how the 20 minute time at the new DHS Bus Stop CAN"T be "inflated".
I don't think it is a huge distance further than the longest walk from the Epcot Bus Stops to the Epcot Turnstiles.
