Someone saw a photo or two in my listings where Zoe's hair was kind of messy. I'll admit I'm not always as prompt in restyling her hair on a regular basis as I should but it hurt to have someone think I didn't know what I was doing based on a few photos. Honestly, often when I take pics with Zoe as my model, I don't stress if her hair isn't perfect because my focus is on the clothes. What hurt even more is the anonymous poster to my blog left the link and only said I had "fans" there. I saw it as either the poster was trying to make trouble for the person who started the thread about me or was trying to make trouble for me. I think I handled it well but it still bothers me to think people could judge me poorly based on little real knowledge of me.
I guess the people who made those comments have children who never have messy hair. Children will be children. I think that I may have seen the pic that they were referring to. I didn't see anything wrong with her hair. It had been brushed and isn't that the most important thing?

I wouldn't assume she was visiting to CASE. It may happen but you really don't need to register to see the threads only to post. I have to admit I was thinking someone saw the comments here and let her know of them so she could come defend herself. I only thought that because I had a similar experience related to a totally different board. Someone there posted about me (or actually my lack of skill in styling Zoe's hair) and a member of that board anonymously gave me a link to the thread.

You're right that's possible. Just seemed a little fishy.
Sorry people were mean to you and zoe. Her hair always looked very cute in my recollection. :cutie:

I thought that was pretty good too! I liked the end!

The ZOO! In FEBRUARY???? :cold: Is it usually open in the winter? Or was it a special event?

This makes me so angry. Why do these things happen? When Heather first went to the doctor, before we knew she had APS, the doctor told her it was acid reflux and sent her home! The next day she was in so much pain, we talked her into going back to the doctor. We then found out she had NUMEROUS blood clots and a very large one in her portal vein. The first doctor didn't listen to her symptoms and almost killed her! It makes me shake even now thinking about what she went through. Sometimes it just seems like she's been though ENOUGH! Is it too much for her too at least find a doctor that will LISTEN?????????? How hard is THAT?

Aww, that is so cute!!!!!

Yep, it's open all year round! And I hear you on the whole Dr. thing. My little sister almost died several years ago. She was pregnant, in pain, passing out and bleeding and the Dr. blew her off. She finally made it into the ER with a blood pressure somewhere around 40/20--like nearly dead. :headache: She had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy and had to have in-vitro to concieve her daughter.

YAY - I made stuff - I wonder if I'll be the last post :rolleyes1

Great Job!!! SO CUTE!!!! Are they roses??

I ironed on the word bubble for Sawyer's shirt this morning. I got some help finding an actual bubble from a Diser on the Disign board. This is the Sebastian off the Ariel pillowcase. He'll wear it when Tessa wears her pillowcase Ariel dress. Once again, he threw a fit when I put the shirt on him. But, this time I'll post the happy (post-cookie) face first.

Post Cookie (yes, I was under the table, he thought it was hilarious):

You know, what? Hair is hair. Sometimes the only thing good about my hair is that it's still on my head! I don't know what I would do if I or my child had AfAm hair!

It came out fantastic!! Great job!

Here is the completed skirts for the girls, neither were cooperating well, so this is the best I did:

I've seen photos of your daughter and she always looks beautiful...people are jerks..if they want to pick on someone...they should pick on me for butchering poor Ireland's hair...Ick!

Your girls look adorable I bet you can't wait for october!!!!!

This is so cute. I've never seen this fabric, can I ask where you got it?
Thanks Carrie! I think I got it at Joann's or Walmart...the only two places I have gotten fabric :rolleyes1

Come on people give credit where credit is due- if your CASEing say so!!!

Hello, my name is Twob4him...Cathy....I CASE and/or CAB everything! :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

But, really, doesn't everyone tell their doctor that they have pain in their abdomen, comparable in intensity to childbirth (5 weeks after having a baby), when they have acid reflux? :confused3
After I had DD9, I went to the emergency room with symptoms of a heart attack. The pain in my chest was so intense and made me double over. I couldnt breath. Well, they said it was just heart burn and gave me some test with radioactive stuff (so I couldnt nurse for three days..ouch). Anyways, I had every classic symptom of gall bladder stones. I read up on it later and diagnosed myself. After another attack, I made an appointment with my doctor and insisted on an ultrasound. And....there they were. Tons of stones. I had it taken out! ;)
