I was taught a very bad rhyme:
Listen, listen, the cats ******
Where, where, under the chair
Quick, quick get the gun
Oh ****, now he's done
I remember getting in so much trouble when I got home and told it to my mom. I had no idea it was bad. She said "who taught you that?" My reply, "mam-mam did" (my grandmother). You should have seen the look on her face....priceless.
I remember the song "Bobby's Girl". I use to play this over and over again...
I want to be Bobby's girl
I want to be Bobby's girl
That's the most important thing to me...
And if I was Bobby's girl
If I was Bobby's girl
What a faithful, thankful girl I'd be.
Then in the Sunday paper was a record with the McDonalds Menu. This was from 1984.
Big Mac, Mc DLT, a Quarter-Pounder with some cheese, Filet-O-Fish, a hamburger, a cheeseburger, a Happy Meal. McNuggets, tasty golden french fries, regular or larger size, and salads: chef salad or garden, or a chicken salad oriental. Big Big Breakfast, Egg McMuffin, hot hot cakes, and sausage. Maybe biscuits, bacon, egg and cheese, a sausage, danish, hash browns too. And for dessert hot apple pies, and sundaes three varieties, a soft-serve cone, three kinds of shakes, and chocolatey chip cookies. And to drink a Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, and orange drink, A Sprite and coffee, decaf too, A lowfat milk, also an orange juice. I love McDonald's, good time great taste, and I get this all at one place... (couldn't remember after the sausage so I found it online)
