Young At Heart: The #BirthdayFestivus13 Adventure!!! 5 UPDATES, 1/8!!!!!!!!!!!!

MAY 24, 2013
Day 12, Part 3 In Which The Magic Kingdom Is Open All Night!

Once we got to the bus stops, there was NO ONE at any of them. It was really weird. I thought more people would be leaving at this time to do the all nighter at #Disney24, but they certainly weren't coming from All Star Movies!

We waited and waited, and a bus didn't come until after 9:30. It was so disappointing! I don't think I've EVER waited for a bus that long, and it of course had to happen on the day of #Disney24. This day was just...ugh. It was really not going well.

Jess even got to Movies, went back to the room, dropped off her stuff, walked to the bus stops, and met up with us before the bus even got there!

I didn't really care that much myself, but Gina's never seen Wishes so that was kind of a bummer. I felt bad that she couldn't get the full Wishes experience, but what can ya do? Sometimes you do everything you can but it just doesn't work out.

I knew we weren't going to make it, but I decided to not let it upset me. We still had the entire night ahead of us. We had talked about this night since Mike Wazowski's head was so controversially projected onto Spaceship Earth, and we were NOT letting anything get us down!

On the bus ride there, Gina and I were acting EXTREMELY SILLY. It honestly made all the stresses and sickness of the day disappear. Seriously, that bus ride was like a magical fix. I had SO much fun just on the way to Magic Kingdom. It definitely set the mood for the rest of the night.

We were just in our own world. Jess was staring at her phone with a great intensity that can only be caused by Instagram, so she would only pick up a thing here and there that we would say, and she would be like ".....WHAT?" because we were being so ridiculous.

One of Gina and I's favorite movies of all time is A Goofy Movie and we sing the songs from it ALL the time, especially "After Today." We had been singing parts of it throughout the trip, but on this bus ride we sang the ENTIRE thing from beginning to end...and with GUSTO.

We were holding nothing back during the Monstrous All-Nighter. We did all the different voices and movements from the movie. We were just so into it. All the other people on the bus were so amused by us. It was honestly one of my favorite moments of the night and probably the whole trip!

There were these women sitting across from us that seemed very into our performance, and all of a sudden one of them like JUMPED across the bus and was sitting next to Jess. Jess had been in her own little world and was VERY startled. So was I because last I knew this person had been on the other side of the bus and suddenly she was RIGHT NEXT TO US and I didn't even see it happen, she moved so fast! The bus was also dark so it was just like...WHOA, A PERSON SUDDENLY UP IN OUR BUSINESS.

Jess was giggling nervously and goes, "HELLO." And this woman just goes "HEY." and I was like "Hi!" and she goes "WHAT SONG ARE YOU GUYS SINGING?!?!"

Gina and I said in unison, "After Today from A Goofy Movie!" and she said to her friend across the bus, "AFTER TODAY FROM A GOOFY MOVIE!"

I don't know if this is translating, but the whole thing was just so hilarious to us and a very GOOFY start to the night.

You probably had to be there... but like... seriously, best bus/MOTOR COACH ride ever.

WE WERE ON OUR WAY INTO THE MAGIC KINGDOM FOR FREAKING #DISNEY24!!!!!!!!!!!!! LET THE MONSTROUS SUMMER BEGIN! AHH!!!!

As we walked off the bus and into the bus stop area, there were just people EVERYWHERE. It was crazy. There were CMs trying to direct people but it was just kind of a madhouse. Instead of getting annoyed, I just appreciated the energy of it. Like, Magic Kingdom was HOPPIN!!!! WOOOOOOO!!!!!

We walked by one of the CMs who said, "Hey folks! Just a reminder, we don't close tonight!" Gina and I LOST IT, oh my God that was so funny. We had lost Jess in the crowd, but once we caught up to her she was cracking up too. I love that CM, whoever he was.

533865_10151624992203773_831778333_n.jpg

Wishes was exploding as we walked in. It was sad we were missing it but it felt like a celebration of our arrival. WELCOME TO #DISNEY24!!!!!!!!!!! I WAS SO EXCITED. OH MY GOD.

As we went in, Jess and I got separated from Gina. We thought she was ahead of us so we walked really fast trying to catch up, only to realize she was behind us! GAH too many people everywhere.

In this process Jess and I got Monstrous Summer buttons that they were handing out for free, but Gina didn't! I felt bad, but literally like 10 minutes later she found one on the ground, so it was all good.

Wishes was in its final stages as we walked down Main Street, and we didn't have a good view, but whatever.

We had so many other things to look forward to that night. It was sad that Gina didn't get the full Wishes experience, but you never fit everything big into your first trip anyway! It will just be all that more special next time.

I realize I look drunk in this photo but hey I was drunk on Disney.

IT HAPPENS! (Also I'm showing off my awesome Monstrous Summer pin that now lives on my Aerosmith Rock n Rollercoaster pink backpack.)

End of Wishes Vine: https://vine.co/v/bVinblwOUeD

So Wishes ends and the park is just PACKED with people trying to get out.

941237_10200939022654464_1892353420_n.jpg

AHH.

Honestly I wish we just ditched the Wishes idea and arrived around 11 instead of 10, but whatever, it all worked out okay. We were just stuck in the Emporium in a sea of people for awhile. I don't really get stressed out in these situations cause I'm just like "Whatever, I'm in Disney."

It's fine, I pin traded while sandwiched in between guests anyway. I'm a professional.

The CMs in the shops were so funny. They were just like yeah we're dealing with this craziness all night. It's NBD. I kinda loved it. They were all in good spirits and we chatted with a girl from Australia who was just happy to be there, even if she was working all night.

I found it interesting that almost every CM I talked to was working the entire night. It's not like some people had, say, an 8pm-2am shift or something. Most were in for the all-nighter.

Another thing I have to note about the CMs is they all seemed to have such good energy! Even in the early morning hours, we did not encounter one rude or sleepy CM. It was pretty amazing!

We were pretty much at a standstill right near Casey's and Jess was on the phone with her friend Miranda. She wanted to go meet up with her but it was impossible to even get out of there.

Eventually, Cast Members lead us out through Casey's and back by the bathrooms near Crystal Palace. The funny thing was, they thought we were trying to get out of the park, so they were like "We PROMISE, COME WITH US AND YOU WILL END UP IN THE FRONT OF THE PARK!!!"

We just kind of went with it, it was like anything to get out of the mob was fine with us. What ended up happening was that they escorted us BACKSTAGE, BEHIND MAIN STREET!! It was awesome.

Here you can see that I have provided a Google Earth diagram view of Main Street including backstage so you can see the awesomeness of where we got to go! I was pretty amazed.

11636833955_e7d48c8ed5.jpg

They walked us through there as fast as possible. It was so weird to be back there, it just looked the back of any strip mall with stores and stuff connected to a parking lot, but then you'd look to the left and see all the lights of the MK, and you could look behind you and see the castle. It was weird to see, but I wouldn't say it ruined the magic or anything.

At one point I took out my phone and snapped a few pictures even though it was dark and you couldn't really see much anyway.

A CM who had been standing back there saw me and started following me telling me that I had to delete the pictures. I was just like, "okay," but he seemed to want to SEE me delete them. The crowd was moving so fast though that he lost me. Anyway, I did delete them. You can trust me Disney, I respect your rules!! :-)

As the CMs had promised, we were spit out in the Town Square area! That was so cool, omg. Monstrous Summer was definitely off to an interesting start!

We took this opportunity to go up to the camera that was set up at the Train Station that was feeding onto the internet live all night. Several of my readers (HEY YOU GUYS) had asked me to wave at the camera so we did that really quick. I think I like blew a kiss and shook my butt and just acted like a fool in general so I'm sure everyone enjoyed it!!!

Jess wanted to go meet up with Miranda but Main Street still looked like Times Square on New Year's Eve.

I definitely did not want to go and battle the same crowds we had just been through again. Jess decided to just deal with all the craziness anyway since Miranda was all alone. Gina and I just wanted to spend time enjoying Main Street while a bunch of people left the park. After that, we'd venture out further.

So Gina and I just started going crazy and dancing around like the dorks we are.

I brought her into the Chapeau so she could hear the convos on the phone in there.

947239_10200939022734466_1145943809_n.jpg

She loved it! If you've never picked up that phone, I highly suggest you do. Very fun.

Then, we headed into the Confectionery!

Too much dancing to get a non-blurry picture tbh.

That's something you need to know about this ridiculous night. SO MUCH DANCING. SO MUCH MUSIC EVERYWHERE. Loud, loud music. Not just Disney music. Pop hits and club bangers. IT WAS AMAZING.

I really wanted to buy a cookie in here, but I already had my Pluto one in my bag from the other day. I think Gina bought one... but I can't remember. The reason we came in here to begin with was because at the beginning of the day they had special Monstrous Summer cupcakes that looked really delicious (see them here: http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2013/05/24/live-disneys-monstrous-summer-24-hour-all-nighter-food/), but it was all gone by night time. They had even been giving out free blue and green doughnuts at different CS locations early in the day! It wasn't that big of a deal though, I mean I wasn't crying about it.

I was texting with Jess who had become obsessed with finding a Monster's University cupcake. It was like her main goal for that night, but no matter where she looked, they had none. Sadface.

At this point I demanded Gina take a photo of me through the window because that is what happens when I am in a super silly mood.

1003687_10200939023774492_1887407056_n.jpg

HAHAHA. It was like a total 180 from earlier in the day. We were having such a blast!

We then went outside and decided to sit on a random stoop and just people watch/yell things.

That's what we do.

Our view Vine: https://vine.co/v/bVinE0WptvE

We just sat here with this view for a good long while and yelled out, "WELCOME TO THE MAGIC KINGDOM! We're open all night!"

It was hilarious when people would ignore us but even more hilarious when people would be all confused and just say like, "...Thanks?"

Some people were super happy about it and would be all, "THANK YOU!!!" It was so so so funny. We were cracking up the whole time.

We would also just say completely random things to people after overhearing their conversations. Like one person pointed to Donald's nephews in the Confectionery window and said, ""That's Huey, Louie, and Dewey." and I said, "Actually, that one's name is Craig. Huey, Louie, and Craig."

A couple of people thought we were Cast Members and would ask us where things were and what time things were happening. Luckily I know everything ever, so I was able to be very helpful. Hire me, Disney!!!

This is probably one of my favorite Vines ever, us sitting here welcoming people to #Disney24!!! https://vine.co/v/bVin0XWOx5H

We decided to take selfies next. It was so funny how so many people were running around trying to do all this stuff and we were just like YO WE CHILLIN!!!!

During the taking of this selfie, I slid down the stairs on accident.

1069973_10200939024734516_1168086745_n.jpg

You had to be there, but it was ONE OF THE MOST HILARIOUS MOMENTS OF MY LIFE. Oh my God. We were cracking up so hard we couldn't breathe.

Slightly more successful photo:

They started making announcements for Celebrate the Magic, so we would then also make announcements. "Welcome to the Magic Kingdom! We're open all night! Don't miss Celebrate the Magic, our brand new castle projection show!! WOOO!!!!"

WOO was another thing with us during this trip. We kept saying WOO back and forth in great succession. Example:

Me: MONSTROUS SUMMER!! WOO
Gina: WOO
Me: WOO
Gina: WOO
Me: WOO
Gina: WOO

We did this over and over approximately 1,000 times all night. We're just such fun.

Once it was like 10 minutes til Celebrate the Magic, we got up and walked toward the castle.

1005616_10200939025054524_1430888760_n.jpg

It was still crowded but once we got to the Hub... omg. It was so beautiful.

1005109_10200939025734541_21594562_n.jpg

There was barely ANYONE around us and we got the most perfect spot to watch the show. More people ended up filtering in, but there was no one in our immediate vicinity and I was so happy.

We watched the beyond AMAZING show and I cried again just like I did the first time I saw it. This time was even better cause I still had most of #Disney24 ahead of me and we were having the best time!

After CtM ended, we spent A LOT of time taking pictures and then slllooowlly meandering up to the castle. It was so much fun. Again, everyone rushing around while WE CHILLIN!!!

Eventually, we walked through the castle and Gina freaked out at the Cinderella mosaics just like I knew she would!

Then we accidentally got separated b/c we were both stunned by the castle and taking a million pics of it. I love how it doesn't matter how many times I'm around that thing, it doesn't get less mesmerizing!

11636936453_020027d109_z.jpg

After reuniting, we wandered around Fantasyland for awhile and realized It's A Small World was the only thing with a small wait time, so we went on that. Gina was excited to finally experience this ride after hearing so much about it over the years!

The wait was like 10-15 minutes and I couldn't believe it! I mean, I could, since it was #Disney24 and all, but I don't think I've ever waited on line for that ride before! It didn't matter though, we more than kept ourselves (and everyone else in line AND on the ride) very entertained.

969328_10200939120216903_284724222_n.jpg

We adopted British accents and would wave and say ELLO! quite loudly to people on the boats, either coming or going. We would look down at them and wave and say ELLO or HALLO repeatedly.

The same thing would happen every time. Guests on the boat would look around, confused. They'd finally spot us. Some would ignore us, but most would laugh, still looking pretty confused. Most would wave back and some would even answer.

Needless to say, every single time, we found this side splittingly hilarious and would almost fall over laughing before the next boat came by and we would have to do it again. We added things like, "Have a magical cruise! Have a lovely time!" to our spiel. Most people would just be like, "... Thank you?" We wondered how many people thought we were actually British. I'm guessing not many. LOL.

ELLO! HOW ARE YOU! HAVE A GREAT CRUISE! HAVE A LOVELY TIME!

Oh, us.

We finally got to ride and I enjoyed it SO much because we were in such a silly and ridiculous mood. Of course, I started greeting the various Small World dolls in my British accent too. I didn't want to be rude!

1014149_10200939120896920_1071254817_n.jpg

I also noticed the ride looked refreshed and AMAZING. I could tell they did a new paint job on quite a few different things, it was very vibrant and beautiful. The collage of goodbyes at the end was totally updated as well, which I didn't even remember had happened! So that was a nice surprise.

1006142_10200939123936996_1850181386_n.jpg

I think I look so OLD in this picture, I kind of hate it, but I also love it b/c it's funny so I am choosing to include it for your viewing pleasure!

1043941_10200939124417008_1670075849_n.jpg

After Small World, we bid everyone on the ride goodbye and yelled to the next people about to ride to have a magical cruise. We're so wonderful, we really need to work at this attraction!

We headed to the Haunted Mansion, passing my soul sista's tower on the way.

11636935823_f1002d0075_z.jpg

The wait at Haunted Mansion said 20 minutes, and I think it was probably a little longer. I had never waited so long for that ride, either, but who cares. I wasn't letting it get to me... it was #DISNEY24!!!

So then Gina took basically the best picture of me EVER:

11637842574_19c4ea52a1_z.jpg

Just me hanging out with the busts of my dead friends.

LIKE I SAID. WE CHILLIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh how I love that picture. ICONIC TBH. I wish it was better quality but whatever. I recreated that on Halloween when I was dressed as a Haunted Mansion Ballroom Dancer and oh man, that one is even better. I am so cool!!!!!!

Onward we moved through the queue.

I miss Fred.

RIP.

It's crazy to think I didn't even know that just months later I would be in this queue with Jess taking tons of pictures of me in my ballroom dancer costume!

Riding this was a huge moment because it was Gina's first time ever on the FAMOUS HAUNTED MANSION. It was epic and life changing for her, quite obviously.

We went through Liberty Square and off to Frontierland to get spots for the 1am showing of The Main Street Electrical Parade. But first we had to stop in Pecos Bills because it was necessary to get fries. Gina and I need fries for all occasions, and #Disney24 was no different!

There was this random doll on the condiments bar, so that was interesting.

11636686595_45abbe3fd5_z.jpg

I had been in contact with Jess who looked all over the damn park for a Monsters University cupcake. Unfortunately I had to report back to her that there were none in Pecos Bills, either. But she and Miranda were nearby so they were going to stop and see us.

Gina and I sat in our PERFECT front row parade spot. I loved watching it from here because it reminded me of my epic multiple viewings of Boo Too You during my MNSSHPs!

Jess came over with Miranda, who I recognized from her trip reports. She seemed super nice but we only talked for a moment because Jess had to get back to her cupcake crusade!

The parade started late, I think it was like 1:20 by the time it finally started. Again, it was fine because WE CHILLIN!!!

941236_10200939143217478_686506877_n.jpg

I enjoyed the parade so much. I mean, I always do, but I've seen it enough times now. The thing is, I was just in such a great, fun, ridiculous and silly mood that it seemed like a bigger blast than usual. Plus it was fun seeing everything through Gina's eyes for the first time. We were like cheering for all the characters, it was so much fun. Also, we recognized the Fairy Godmother and Prince Charming from our 1900 Park Fare dinner earlier in the week and freaked out as if he was a rockstar when he came by on his little float. It was hilarious. I think Gina's favorite part was the end though because she kept saying her future job had to be one of the patriotic girls!

After the parade ended, we headed back to Main Street. I thought we were gonna meet up with Jess soon after, but she texted me saying she was going to leave. She was super tired and miserable and it was just not the right day for #Disney24 to be going on for her, unfortunately.

She kept apologizing to me since we had talked about how much fun we would have all night at this event for months, but I didn't mind. I knew she had been up since 6am and I felt bad for her that she had to miss it! I mean one of the big advantages of living near Disney is that you can always be around for stuff like this and here she was having to go back to the room so early. I felt so sad for her during my trip, she was sad through a lot of it! But hey, it's good that happened in a way. Like Woody Allen says, you gotta struggle a little bit or else you miss the whole point to life. Now that she lives there permanently I'm sure she will experience many more #Disney24s over the years!

For Gina & I... the show had to go on! So we headed to the Plaza Ice Cream Parlour because how could we continue the night without some ICE CREAM!!!

The answer is, we couldn't.

1011496_10200939162097950_896039649_n.jpg

I already knew what I was getting, of course: my standby, the Mickey Mouse Kid's Cone, aka my favorite ice cream ever!

Before looking at the menu, Gina said, "I think I want a bagel with cream cheese in a waffle cone." which CRACKED ME UP. We are Jersey girls to the max so bagels are our obsession. You can't really get good bagels in Florida which is something Gina now suffers from, so she talks about them all the time like they are her long lost loves.

Once she actually saw what they had she was very pleased when she saw Rice Dream was an option! WOOO, Gina would not be getting sick!

The line in here, like everywhere, was pretty long so we just acted like the goobs we were to pass the time. This ~*cute guy*~ in front of me in line started kind of flirting with me and Gina found it hilarious. He was clearly like a dreamy high school quarterback type and once he turned away, Gina said in an extremely Valley Girl voice, "Oh my God, do you think he's a senior?"

I laughed so hard I almost threw up. We're the old ladies pretending to be high schoolers talking in a valley lyke omigod accent. I can't.

He told me he was from Buffalo and kept saying Gina and I weren't going to make it all night. In my mind I was like, "Um, you probably won't make it all night little boy!" but I just flirted back instead and batted my eyelashes and stuff.

~*He was like totally a senior and probably like even had a car and stuff omigod he was so cute do you think he'd like take me to a movie on Friday~*

We are such dorks I really can't deal with it.

Then Gina took a picture of me and I made the concious decision to pose like this.

995117_10200939174898270_1844335660_n.jpg

I love myself.

Then we got our delicious ice cream!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOOOO!!!

Gina's Rice Dream ~ no stomach ache included!!!

MAY 24-25, 2013
Day 12, Part 5 In Which We Become Global Stars

We walked toward the front of the park while enjoying our delicious treats. When we finished, we decided it was time for us to become EVEN MORE FAMOUS by dancing on the Livestream!

This was when we really just totally let go and acted like we were in our living rooms dancing or something. There was absolutely no pretense or inhibitions here, and we honestly had more fun than I could even have imagined. It was such a freaking blast, you have no idea!

Blurry me!!!

1069885_10200939175578287_208361773_n.jpg

First of all, they were playing a bunch of club jams and stuff which was hilarious in itself, to be dancing to like Bruno Mars and Jason Derulo in the Magic Kingdom. On camera. At like 2 in the morning. We were dying.

I also recall us dancing to One Direction with an older lady who was alone and kept yelling that her friends in California were watching. Over and over she'd be like WAVE TO MY FRIENDS IN CALIFORNIA!!! and we'd wave over and over.

Everyone walking by got such a kick out of us. There was like no one else dancing in this particular area because the main dance party was happening at the hub. Being the celebrities that we are though, we wanted to be right on camera so that was our main spot. As people walked out sometimes we would get them to join in but mostly they would just laugh (not in a mean way. I think.)

We were really going totally insane, doing the silliest dance moves possible and just acting like MENTAL PATIENTS. I really can not stress enough the amount of RIDICULOUS fun this was. I didn't even pay attention to what I was doing or the dance moves, I just went with the music and did whatever I wanted. I also just ran in circles a bunch which is usually what I do when I'm drunk, which I obviously wasn't, but OH WAS I FEELING GOOD!

It was so so so funny, we had the time of our lives dancing on that stream! I know a few of my readers were watching us on the livestream because I announced via Twitter that we would be doing it, so you can probably attest to our craziness! Oh my God it was so much fun.

We also danced to What Time Is It from High School Musical which is like the only HSM song I know, so I'm glad they played that because not only did I know some of the words but it fit the event perfectly! "SUMMERTIME IS FINALLLLY HEEEEREEEE!!" ahh it was SO awesome.

The California lady kept yelling at everyone walking by that California was watching and they would get so confused. I would then explain that it was a livestream and actually the whole world, not just California, was watching and they'd usually wave and stuff. And then more ridiculous dancing commenced! We got some people to dance with us... I honestly got such a kick out of dancing with random strangers! It was so much fun! Gina joked that we were dancing so crazily that we'd probably be a famous Tumblr gif by morning. hahhahaha!

After four songs or so we were super out of breath and sweating by that point, plus we had to pee so we went to the bathroom. I had to take my ears off and put my hair up cause by that point I was just so hot from our absurd dance-a-thon!

While Gina was still in the stall and I was putting my hair up, I HEARD THEM START PLAYING I2I FROM A GOOFY MOVIE.

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD.

NOT ONLY IS THIS LIKE THE BEST SONG EVER FROM OUR FAVORITE MOVIE BUT WE WERE JUST FREAKING SINGING THE WHOLE GOOFY MOVIE ON THE BUS THERE. IT WAS DESTINY.

Gina came out and we RAN outside so that we could dance and sing I2I. Instead of sticking in front of the camera, this time we did our little performance down Main Street, walking toward the castle. Omg, this was so so so SO SOSOSOSOSO MUCH FUN.

I swear, everyone on that street got SO INTO IT. We kept holding up two fingers and put them by our eyes like Goofy and Max do in the movie during their I2I performance and we were singing every word at the same time and dancing. People would come up to me and put two fingers by their eyes too and sing along and dance with me, all this happening as we traveled toward the castle. I CAN NOT EVEN DESCRIBE THE RIDICULOUS FUN, I HOPE I AM IN SOME WAY DOING IT SO YOU UNDERSTAND THIS WAS THE COOLEST THING EVER. I can't even. Oh man did we have the best time or what?!!

I've seriously never danced with so many random strangers and this is coming from someone who has spent many a night dancing in NYC clubs from like 10pm to 4am. And I am telling you, this was even more of a free for all dance party. Oh my God. I can't say it enough: what a blast. YOU REALLY NEED TO GO TO ONE OF THESE SOMEDAY.

We danced our way into Tomorrowland and went on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority/WEDWay Peoplemover at 2:41 AM.

936495_10200939715671789_1669006799_n.jpg

I mean... it was perfect. We were just singing, speaking in a British accent, yelling things at people, and cracking up laughing the whole time. We are so cool!!!

We walked down by the Tomorrowland stage, where I thought they'd have a dance party, but instead they were simply showing Monster's Inc over and over again!

484715_10200939176338306_1094143960_n.jpg

There were a ton of people with blankets spread out on the ground watching it, which I thought was so cool. THEY WERE CHILLIN TOO! IT WAS GREAT!!! CHILLLLIIIINNNNNN AT DISNEY24!!!!!!!

970754_10200939176258304_281445943_n.jpg

So what did we do next? You're probably thinking Space Mountain or something equally epic, right? Not quite. The Space wait was still pretty high... these crowds were not thinning out at all!

Naturally, we hit up the TOMORROWLAND SPEEDWAY!

21378_10200939176298305_494820129_n.jpg

Like I said we chillin!!! I have either never been on this ride, or I went on it once when I was 4 or 5. I honestly don't remember. This trip was all about new experiences so I said WHAT THE HELL lets go on this giant waste of space!!!

1000378_10200939176938321_633265245_n.jpg

BUMPING MAY OCCUR AND INTERRUPT THE CHILLIN!!!!

1016754_10200939176898320_116633503_n.jpg

Oh trust me, bumping occurred!!!

It was actually fun. We were in such a silly awesome mood that it didn't even matter what we did... it automatically turned into the funnest thing ever.

I'm really glad we did this. You get some cool views of the MK from the track that you don't get anywhere else, so that was probably my favorite part. I also enjoyed *accidentally* crashing into people! WOO! (WOO!) WOO! (WOO!) WOO!

We headed to Storybook Circus next and I noticed Mad Tea Party was open again! Gina doesn't like spinning though so we skipped it. I didn't care because my mission was to ride DUMBO! I still had not been on the refurbished and moved Dumbo so I thought past 3am during #Disney24 would be the perfect time! Well guess what, I was WRONG! Our plan was shut right down when we tried to get on the ride and there was a wall of CMs blocking it. The annoying thing about this night is that they kept closing down rides at random times. OH WELL, onto the next thing!

There was no wait for Barnstormer so we figured why not! I hadn't been on this ride since I was 12 so it was due time to ride it again!

954733_10200939194738766_437006725_n.jpg

Notice the box that says "First Aid" and under it there is one that says "Second Aid" hahaha

1000130_10200939194698765_916622437_n.jpg

So yeah everyone is right when they say this is the shortest ride in the universe! It's barely even existant! I say extend it a bit but that's just me. It's not worth riding if you have to wait like even 5 minutes but we were just doing whatever cause WE CHILLIN so I was glad we did it!

When we were getting off the ride we started doing our WOO! WOO! WOO! thing and CMS JOINED IN!!! OMG!!! It was so hilarious and perfect! It went like this:

Gina: WOO
Me: WOO
Gina: WOO
CM: WOO
Me: WOO
Gina: WOO
CM: WOO

ETC ETC ETC. I loved that random people were joining in our jubilee!! OH THE MAGIC OF #DISNEY24!

Next we decided to go on Pooh because WHY NOT! There was a line, in fact there were many VERY YOUNG children in it who I could not believe were awake! All night I continued to see straight up toddlers wide awake, it was shocking!

I have to mention that a lot of people were wearing pajamas! Especially groups of young girls. I thought that was a really fun idea and never even thought of it. It was so cute when you'd see a walking slumber party of girls in Disney PJs. Maybe I'll do that next time!

Also characters were greeting all night long! The next time I do a 24 hour event I would really love to mostly just meet characters all night in between various dance parties, I think that would be so fun!

1013148_10200939195258779_1879046370_n.jpg

Gina and I had been singing the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh theme song with GUSTO the entire time she had been in Disney so it was only fitting that we sung it in line and on the ride too!! Oh us!!!

11637071104_8cd8efc863_z.jpg

After Pooh we headed into NEW FANTASYLAND!! WOO! WOO! WOO! WOO!

We went straight to Enchanted Tales With Belle, hoping that the line wouldn't be as long as it usually is! This was my first time doing this attraction since my BEYOND MAGICAL EXPERIENCE at my 2nd MNSSHP, so I was happy it was happening during such an epic event because I didn't think anything could live up to my MNSSHP experience!

We did have to wait in line but it wasn't too bad, maybe 20 minutes. And the queue is just so pretty. Once I got in the door I was having so many flashbacks from my flawless and unforgettable October 26, 2012 MNSSHP, it was wonderful!!

Wardrobe Vine: https://vine.co/v/bVJTY5pphOn
Once it was time for people to start getting roles, I again didn't say anything but AGAIN I was picked!

I WAS THE WARDROBE!!!!!!!!!!

11637070294_1c0ba34294_z.jpg

What a fantastic role!!! I was so stoked. Flawless choice by them imo!!!

I also have to mention that every CM at this attraction and Belle herself were so perfect, you would NEVER EVER guess that it was around 4am or whatever. If I didn't know it was in the wee morning hours I would have assumed it was just a normal time. They were all stupendous!

Then it was time for us to go back in time to the day Belle & the Beast fell in love, meet Belle, and put on a show for her!!

945909_10200939197618838_90227476_n.jpg

Belle was GORGEOUS, oh my God. She looked really familiar to me and then I realized... parents shield your kids from this next part... she is also friends with Aurora and I met her during MNSSHP! This girl has such perfect features and I really think she should go into acting/modeling professionally because she's also just very talented. It's interesting, while being friends with Belle I think she had more of an exotic look, and while being friends with Aurora she totally had a California blonde look going on. She pulled off both flawlessly and was the best of both princesses I've ever seen. If any of you CMs (I know a lot of you read this!) know her, tell her she RULES!!

Belle Vine: https://vine.co/v/bVJQ7U7QF3q

Okay moving on. I'm sure most of us know the whole story of this attraction by now so I am just going to skip to the part where for my exciting and challenging role of the Wardrobe, I had to sing out really loud and annoyingly, "AhhhhhhhhhhhhhhAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" for everyone. I think I wowed the audience with my gripping and tragic performance!! First Enchanted Tales, next BROADWAY!

There were these two little girls who were sisters playing Mrs. Potts and Chip. They were seriously two of the cutest kids I have EVER seen. They were so excited and happy and so into their performances. They were mesmerized by the whole experience and it just cemented how perfect this attraction is. It's true Disney magic and I think it's something Walt would have been so thrilled to see.

I'm going to include some of the PhotoPass pics of them just with faces covered in case their parents aren't cool with me posting them!

Are you crying over the cuteness?! Cause I am.

Also the guy they had playing the Beast was entertaining. I later realized he was the Mickey Updates guy! Funny because I had been following his tweets all night and realized it was him after we left Enchanted Tales and I saw he was there the same time as us! haha

MAY 24-25, 2013
Day 12, Part 6 In Which We Chillin Eatin Waffles and Dancing to *NSYNC

Onward we swam into Ariel's world! Eric, where are you BABE? Why don't you have a M&G???

We went UNDA DA SEA and again sang along with every word and danced and CRIED of course!! I went on this ride more than any other attraction this trip and if you're wondering did it get old, the answer is NOOOO. Never!

We left New Fantasyland and headed back to OG Fantasyland, where we took a flight over London and Neverland cause the line to do so was finally down! Honestly it was only at like 4am that the lines started to die down. I thought it would happen around 1 or 2 but most people, including children, really held out!

1014008_10200939233979747_2112380285_n.jpg

I have to say though, there were a lot of people we saw from like 1am on that were literally just sleeping. On benches, on the ground, WHEREVER. Like just... ASLEEP! In the Magic Kingdom. Out cold. It was HILARIOUS.

Next we walked/danced around for awhile through Liberty Square and I noticed Sleepy Hollow was open. I was automatically like OMG because I wanted a Nutella waffle sandwich.

11636931483_e08759c018_z.jpg

I have wanted to try one of these since they came out but I am always too full from other things to take them on!

I walked up to the window, thinking they'd never have them this late (or should I say early! It was like 5am by this time!). After all, they don't even have them all the time during normal park hours.

The CM working there was honestly one of the only tired ones I encountered all night. You could tell that he was just dazed at this point but in a very funny way. We did not have the normal, happy, sunny CM/guest conversation and that was fine with me because it was so hilarious. The exchange went like this:

*I walk up to the window*
*He turns to me*
Me: Hey, do you guys have the Nutella waffle sandwiches right now?
Unenthused CM: Yeah
Me: Can I get one?
Unenthused CM: Okay

HAHAHAHAHA. I wish you all could have been there b/c Gina and I were dying. He wasn't rude at all, he was just done with life at that moment and I will never forget him. There were several other CMs working there and they all seemed like they were having fun. There was one girl in particular that was SUPER PERKY AND HAPPY AS IF SHE HADN'T BEEN UP ALL NIGHT OKAY HERE YOU GO HAVE A MAGICAL NIGHT!!! :D ;D ;D XD like that.

I got the Nutella Waffle Sandwich with fruit and OH MY GOD THIS FLAWLESSNESS. WHAT ELSE DO YOU HAVE FOR BREAKFAST AT THE MAGIC KINGDOM AFTER A NIGHT OF MADNESS?! HONESTLY WHAT. TELL ME.

11637456666_274eb96fee_z.jpg

Gina had a waffle with strawberry on it, which was actually pie filling.

1003137_10200939248100100_2126967112_n.jpg

Both were delicious but mine was way better due to all the NUTELLA!!!! I honestly gave most of the fruit to Gina. What can I say, I was focused on the chocolate!!

We had so much fun sitting by the castle at 5am eating waffles. OMG, it was an epic moment in my life. One of those "Yup, I'm where I'm supposed to be right now" moments.

11636683015_918da7efd7_z.jpg

So from like 12am on they had a DJ on the castle stage and a ton of people were just in front of the castle dancing all night. It was pretty amazing and every time I saw it I wanted to join in but we were too busy doing our various activities and having our own dance parties as you have read!

944752_10200939247860094_1158878707_n.jpg

No... that's not a nightclub, it's just Disney World.

Finally after finishing our DELICIOUS waffles we got up and joined the party!! Oh my GOD! Another one of the most fun things of MY LIFE. Not only did I dance with tons of guests, there were characters out too! Goofy, Pluto, Stitch, Donald, and Daisy were out in the open just chillin with everyone! It wasn't really a photo op kinda situation, it was just like they were guests too dancing the night (morning at this point) away! OH MY GOD I LOVED IT!!!!

935002_10200939248780117_72031963_n.jpg

This whole event was like... the amount of fun Magic Kingdom normally is... after a few shots. I guess it's hard to know what I'm saying if you weren't there, but oh man, it really was just like one big party, but after everyone's broken the ice and settled in. The magic thing was, we hadn't had any alcohol! It really felt like that though, like being drunk without actually drinking. Like everyone was just looser, not worried about anything, letting go and dancing to club music with Donald Duck at the Magic Kingdom. It was unlike any experience I have had in Disney World before.

Dancing in front of the castle Vine: https://vine.co/v/bV1J9UJUiBL

So eventually they bring out a parade float a bunch of characters get on them. It was really funny to see the characters walk up onto floats as opposed to just coming out on the floats to begin with.

Then the dance party just continued except most people crowded around the float to watch the characters dance!! It was so funny seeing them dance to non-Disney club music! Whoever was friends with them at that time must have had the biggest BLAST, omg.

I vined Donald and Daisy doing the robot: https://t.co/uSm4eVxNs4

and Pluto loving live grooving to that song that uses the Etta James sample: https://vine.co/v/bV16IKAeivq

IT WAS SO FUNNY. I CAN NOT EVEN TELL YOU WHAT IT IS LIKE TO DANCE WITH DISNEY CHARACTERS TO CLUB JAMS. LIKE WHAT

598379_10200939249820143_1571989281_n.jpg

And then... my god. Oh, my god.

I hear one of my FAVORITE SONGS EVER by some of my FAVORITE PEOPLE EVER start up on the loudspeaker.

I'm actually going to put it on as I write this, BRB.

Okay. IT WAS *NSYNC'S CLASSIC HIT BYE BYE BYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have probably read about how much I love *NSYNC because I have mentioned it in like all my TRs. To me they are not a thing of the past and I still listen to them all the time. It's a hard decision but Bye Bye Bye is probably my favorite song by them.

Why don't you listen to it too?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eo-KmOd3i7s

Anyway... wow. When this song came on I WENT CRAZY. I mean, you'd think *NSYNC was there themselves and I was 11 years old again dancing like crazy at their concert. Seriously.

It was just such a perfect life moment that THAT song came on because it was obviously a giant staple of my childhood/tween life... as was Disney.

And here I was with one of my best friends... someone who I've known since I was 9... someone I WENT TO AN *NSYNC CONCERT WITH in 2001.

It was one of those "Everything changes but nothing changes" moments, you know?

I just as easily could have been a 10 year old there in Disney with Gina dancing to *NSYNC. I'm different but I am the same.

Very epic moment for me DANCING ALONG WITH GOOFY TO BYE BYE BYE.

Couldn't even believe it. STILL CAN'T!!!

I vined it: https://t.co/v0BgOigveO

Oh man, I wish you all could feel how fun this was right now. I can't even begin to express the total blast this was.

Honestly a lot of it kind of reminded me of like, a drug-free Woodstock or something. It was like all of us guests were together having fun and that was it. There was no tomorrow or yesterday it was just us all dancing together with Disney characters at Disney World.

IT WAS DISNEY'S WOODSTOCK!

#Disney24 is Disney's Woodstock. There ya go.

The dance party continued and then eventually it was nearing 6:00 AM aka closing time. :[ I was sad. I DID NOT WANT THIS NIGHT TO END.

Not only that but it was my last moments of park time for #BirthdayFestivus13... so I was sad about that. But I really couldn't even let anything get me down because it was so much fun that I didn't even care. I was just like, I have to leave Disney sometime, and this is the way to do it man!!!

They actually did a really brilliant thing to get everyone out of the park quickly which was they moved the float down Main Street to the train station where characters were waiting in their pajamas to say goodbye to all of us. So naturally we all followed even though I had imagined staying in the park past closing time.

Then they had the closing ceremony!! This is where I started crying because omg. They played the Mickey Mouse Alma Mater (aka the "Now it's time to say goodbye" song) and everything and for me it was true... this epic trip was nearing its end. I was just happy I still had a couple days to recover and let everything sink in from this amazing night before I really had to leave.

11637452866_30942e7099_z.jpg

The characters looked ADORABLE in their pajamas and I really wish I could have gotten closer/gotten better pictures but there are a million of 'em on the internet. And RIGHT in that moment my phone decided it was too full to take any more pictures so I was like frantically deleting some right then and it was so annoying.

GAH I really did not want to leave! The masses started heading out but Gina had to use the bathroom and plus I just wanted to sit on the curb awhile and take everything in!

So that's what we did. I honestly just sat there alone watching the sun come up over the Magic Kingdom and thought about how lucky I was to be there, in my favorite place for this extremely special event, there AGAIN after an epic trip 6 months earlier... 2 more weeks in May to celebrate mine and my friend's birthdays, omg. It was the stuff dreams are made of and there was no reason to not be so happy and thankful in that moment! Maybe things in my life were a mess, maybe things at home were awry, but luckily - THANK GOD I have Disney in my life and I can go there and be happy and at peace and everything can be magical and fantastic and it can mean everything in the world - so much more than people who just go for a fun vacation could ever possibly understand. Disney is my heart and my soul and deep in the core of who I am, if you could look inside there you would see Disney. You'd also see Hanson and a lot of other music floating around in there. That's who I REALLY am. A lot of people don't know who they are and they spend all this time trying to find themselves. The truth is, whoever you are in this moment... THAT'S YOU. You can better yourself and throughout your life you will find out more, but if you're searching for yourself, stop. Take one second to think of what you feel you would die without and that's who you are. Throw yourself into it and chase it because that happiness, joy, and I-CAN'T-LIVE-WITHOUT-THIS urgency you feel is there for a reason. That's who you are.

Just some facts of life coming out at 6am in Disney World for ya.

You may not agree but hey, that's how I see things.

Gina came out and we just chilled a bit. AGAIN WE CHILLIN!!!!!!!!!!

This night was about chillin but also about going crazy. It was a complicated combination but Gina and I had it down.

Aww. My God what a night!

Eventually we LEFT THE MAGIC KINGDOM. :'( I said goodbye to the essence of Disney not having any idea when I would be able to go back. Little did I know I would be back in October for another dream come true trip. But hey, I'm kinda glad that I didn't know and that I truly believed I would not be back to Disney for a year or so because that just made getting to go even sweeter.

I was so sad to leave. I really was. But damn was I TIRED!!!

We waited for the bus a bit and I sat on the pavement. It was one of those things where you can gogogogogogo for a long time and not feel your tiredness but as soon as you stop for a moment your fatigue hits you. I was like WOW I AM NEARING DEATH.

946576_10200939251420183_1948899579_n.jpg

I had to stand on the bus which was like... are you kidding me right now I can not be vertical at this time. But I stood near the front so I could lean on that part of the bus that's right behind the driver.

A lot of people on the bus were just flat out passed out, it was pretty funny. The ride back to Movies was long as always and I honestly don't remember anything else. I don't remember getting back to the room or going to sleep... like at all.

DISNEY DELIRIUM!!!!

#Disney24 aka Monstrous Summer aka Disney's Woodstock was a ROUSING SUCCESS. It was a blast to end all blasts. I am so freaking happy we got to do this, you have no idea.

RUN DO NOT WALK TO THE NEXT ALL NIGHTER!!!

I really think I have to go to the next one no matter what... it is just such an amazing time and unique experience. I CAN NOT WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT ONE!!!!!!!!

Up Next: Last full day we roll out of bed and take it easy. Resort hopping and pin trading out the wazooooooooo

Thanks for all the well wishes guys! Thankfully I feel a lot better now!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Lia, I am SO VERY GLAD you're back and posting. I was a little worried there. When I heard from Jess that you had to cancel your trip, it was pretty sad to hear, but I didn't ask any more than that. And yes, that was indeed me with the Captain EO button, and it is so nice of her to pass it along. Ever since you posted WAYYYYYYY back in Stuck in Disney about the lack of EO merch, I'd been carrying that button around on 2 trips on the off chance that I ran into Jess so she could send it to you to pass along. I just thought a serious EO fan deserved that button. And what are DIS pals for if not to make each other happy? Plus it was a nice little side adventure. :)

Yeah right with you on Tom as Walt. Will... die. But it'll be worth it.

I haven't seen Frozen (yet), but I heard "Let it go" for the first time on the castle projection show and I absolutely got chills. Just an amazing piece of music.

Wow, you ARE Elsa.

Say no more. After a lengthy stay I also tend to "reuse" some clothing. Normally not an issue, but with trip report pictures it becomes pretty obvious, lol.

Haha, the name you are looking for is "Peach" and I would be crushed if I couldn't hear her as it's my favorite part of the Seas ride.

That's the best advice for the PP card. Always take a photo of the number!

That makes me so sad that you felt so ill on your last day. The heat gets me like that too. AK would have been AT LEAST 10 degrees hotter, so good call on passing.

YAY #Disney24. I love everything about your reports obviously, but I have been particularly excited for this update. :hyper:

WOW I can't believe you've been carrying it around like that! It's really thoughtful. Thank you!

AHH I WISH I could see the new Frozen part in person. I was really looking forward to that.

It's okay... I ended up feeling MUCH better and got through the All-Nighter, which was the perfect way to end the parkgoing on the trip! :goodvibes

Aww Lia it's so great to have you back, I've been missing your updates but understand you must have 1000001 other things to do as well!

I'm so sorry to hear you had to cancel your trip - there is nothing worse than that feeling - but just think how much *more* you will appreciate your 2014 trips as a result! I hope you start to feel better soon and that you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! xx

That's so true! I always say that. The longer you have to wait for something, the better it will eventually be. I'm not worried, I know I'll be back soon!

Hi Lia,

Sorry about your Christmas trip, but I am sure you will more than make up for it in 2014.:thumbsup2

We have been so busy that we missed most of your short TR hiatus, but just like you we are back! After getting all caught back up, it is easy to see why everyone missed you so much. Your TR updates are as awesome as ever and are some of the best WDW fixes to be found outside of the World!

Can't wait to hear the rest of your Disney24 adventure. We had such a great time sitting at home like the uber WDW geeks that are, watching the live steam to catch you and Gina “living it up” at the party. My wife even captured some of that wonderful WDW loving exuberance on her phone (I think that she plans on selling to a tabloid after you become mega famous).:rotfl2:

Rob & Jenn

OH TRUST ME I WILL! pixiedust:

hahahaha OMG I can't believe you have a video of us. You should share it because we were disappointed when we weren't all over the internet the next morning. :lmao:

So glad that you’re back and updating! Glad that all in life has been great, minus the having to skip the Xmas trip this year! Oh no!

I agree with you a whole lot on the Frozen issues! It was an amazing soundtrack, and incredible movie, but not the GREATEST. A friend of mine said the soundtrack was better than Lion King’s and I simply looked at him…bahah

Love the Elsa look! That’s so awesome!! I’ve been debating Elsa for MNSSHP next year but I’m not impressed with any of the ones I’ve seen on Etsy/cosplayers yet, I think I’d have it custom made by a ballroom dance person, which would be FAR to expensive!

Still haven’t done mission space doubt I’ll do it, just not my type of thing to do lol, glad you guys had fun though! YAY for enjoying the seas, I love Turtle Talk it’s amazing!! Lol.

I am definitely a World Showcase eater! I’ve done sunshine seasons for breakfast and then usually lunch, snack, dinner, snack and MORE SNACKS in WS, there’s so many delicious things to eat and I can NEVER PICK JUST ONE.

AHHH PHOTOPASS DILEMMA! SO glad you got the pictures back, I was missing about five sets from Sept and was seriously upset! Ahahaha, “don’t know why you’d drink something that could choke you!”| SO TRUE!

Love the bakery! I had the raspberry mousse last month and it was SO great! That dog is adorable! A younger version of my dog! Lol.

So glad that you were able to get a nap and start to feel better! I’ve been like that on trips before and it’s just not fun at all, sometimes that heat just gets way too crazy and insane and doesn’t help the vacation stuff!

Oh man it is so not better than The Lion King, which I think is one of the best movies ever made period, regardless of Disney or not. I mean, Frozen is amazing, but people are getting a little crazy with comparisons!

Yeah I WISH I had the money to have someone custom make an Elsa costume for me, omg, that would be awesome. I don't know. I'm either gonna have to make a low rent version of it myself or just not do it, I guess. That's the reason why I've never dressed as Rapunzel - the wigs on Etsy are like $500! And I can't imagine doing it without that epic long braided wig.

Long time lurker here...and I thought I would finally post something!!

First of all, I love your updates!!! :) It really sounds like you and Gina had an awesome night! Even though you didn't go on a crazy amount of rides, you still had a blast just enjoying the Disney atmosphere!! :)

Secondly, and most importantly, I think it is seriously awesome that YOU LOVE A GOOFY MOVIE! That movie is like my childhood. Me and my little brother used to record the songs on a cassette tape and dance and sing to them. LOVE IT!!! I would be right next to you guys belting out the songs. And if I was in Disney and I2I came on, I would of just died. LOVE IT!!! :)

Can't wait to see how the rest of your trip went!!!

For the record, I thought the Mike projection was flat out AWESOME!!!!

Aww despite missing the start of Wishes, I really can't think of a better way to enter Disney24. I mean, I get excited when I come in and Dream Along is just finishing and then the little fireworks bursts at the finale as I'm walking down Main Street. It's perfection.

Bahaha, I just giggled at the CM from Australia because I saw SO MANY CM's FROM AUSTRALIA !! It's crazy!

Oh wow I think that's the area where I went on the Keys Tour behind Main Street.

I would have done the exact same thing as you and Gina. This doesn't happen every day. Just stop and enjoy the moments. You have ALL NIGHT!!

WOW, I was so looking forward to this update for what feels like forever and it did not disappoint. My God what an epic night and if there is a better way to leave the parks, I don't know what that could possibly be. I was at Leap Day 24 at Disneyland in 2012, but honestly I found it disappointing since it just seemed like loads of drunk (legit) kids everywhere. This one just sounded full on fun. I am so glad to hear it lived up to your hopes and that you got to experience such a fun and glorious night. :goodvibes

Amazing updates as always!!! I can't imagine being immersed in the Disney Magic all night long, something I would definitely like to try though. I can't believe you saw little ones out that late...my 2 kids would pass out around 10pm at the latest!

Glad you and Gina had such a blast. Sorry I missed you guys dancing on the live feed!

Wow, Lia, I think you had every single one of us believing we experienced this fabulous night with you as that's how Amazing of a job you did at conveying everything that happened and all the fun you had. Seriously, I had SO much fun reading along, what an epic night!!!

So happy you are feeling better. Happy 2014!!! :goodvibes

Hi! Thanks for lurking and now posting!

Thank you so much! We really did. We had no goals to go on a ton of rides or anything. Actually we barely made plans. We were just like, "Let's party!"

A Goofy Movie is one of the best movies ever made. :-)

Great update! :)

Thank you!

So did I! I really don't understand the Epcot purists. The whole point of Epcot is the future, technology, evolution, etc.

Aww, sorry about all the drunk people. I've heard the Disneyland all-nighters are just too crowded and crazy. In WDW it was definitely a busy night but not irritatingly so and I didn't notice anyone who was drunk. Hopefully you will get to experience a WDW all nighter in the future! I'm so glad you enjoyed the update so much too, thank you!

Thank you! I hope you get to try it someday. And yeah I was completely shocked to see all those little kids awake. They must have slept all day. That would totally ruin so many kid's sleep schedules, I feel bad for the parents!

That's awesome, thank you! I was hoping people would feel like they were right there with us.

Bonus #Disney24 Photos: Part 1!

Hi guys. So I actually forgot to include a bunch of pictures I took during #Disney24. This trip report has been a giant pain in the butt due to all the different cameras used by all of us and I TOTALLY forgot about these. Rather than edit them in, I thought I'd just do a couple more posts. Many of this will seem redundant after my regular updates on this night but I figured more #Disney24 could never be a bad thing! Woo!

I don't know why Gina seems so disturbed by the conversation she is overhearing! LOL

It's A Small World. I always say I am not going to take any more pictures of this ride (I have approximately 83942893 from each trip since 1995) but it was looking so shiny and new I just could not resist.

I kind of can't get over how awesome that was. Probably since watching movies is one of my most favorite things to do in the world, the idea of watching them while in my favorite place is just so magical. I really have to go to the resort movie screenings more often cause it was so fun watching part of Cinderella at Port Orleans that one night!

I just love how this came out.

That's all folks! Have a great night. Hopefully I can do a real update again soon cause I can't wait to roll out the next trip report. The October/November trip was even better than this one and I reflect on it all the time so I can't wait to share it with all of you! Happy New Year!

More Disney24 is all good by me!!!

My God I'm such an idiot since I've STILL not gone in and picked up those phones.

I don't know. Something about an Electrical Parade at 1am just makes it so much more awesome.

Thank you for the bonus photos. God I really want to attend an all-nighter at MK SO BAD.

I am quite saddened that this report is getting close to being done, but THANK GOODNESS there's another in the hopper. And more HALLOWEEN. I can't wait to see the Halloween costumes again.

HAPPY NEW YEAR Lia, and I hope your 2014 is filled with loads of pixie dust. I have a feeling it will.

Happy New Year Lia! :)

Thanks for the wonderful Disney24 updates - Fab pictures too! You & Gina clearly had an AMAZING night :goodvibes When I was younger I'd have LOVED to have done an all-nighter at the MK...Sadly my energy levels aren't what they used to be though & the crowds would have killed me!! Great to live it all through your eyes instead though! :thumbsup2

I know I'm super late to the party but I finally found the time to read your entire 2010 McLOVINS trip report (not all in one go!!) & really enjoyed it! Looking forward to reading your Dec 2011 report next! :)

Best wishes for many more happy Disney memories in 2014!

So excited for all of the Disney24 pics!!
Awe man, what an awesome welcome into the magic kingdom, fireworks and all! We totally got some of those buttons a few weeks prior!! they’re awesome!! Ah the backstage passes that they open are are super cool, we got through the one on the other side on the parade taping day, and I’ve been on the casey’s side during the KTTK tour! I do understand their “not taking any pictures” thing but when it is a situation like that it doesn’t seem to be as crazy

Sounds like you girls really were having a blast and into it already, yay!! Oh my gosh those treats sounds amazing! Om nooom!! Man, I’m feeling the energy of you guys just from reading this, it truly must’ve been such a fun night!! I really hope they do another one that I’m there for!!

Glad you guys are having sucha a blast, I wish I could’ve witnessed some of it, bahah! Isn’t it just great to be able to see the magic through someone else’s eyes?! It’s amazing!!

Ah the second aid box! I noticed that in Sept & had a good little chuckle bout it! looks like enchanted tales was again a blast!

Oh my gosh that dance party seriously must’ve been the best thing of all night! Amazing! Also, tearing up at your 6am feels! URHG DISNEY FEELS. The all nighter sounds like it was such a highlight of your trip, and I can’t imagine the amazingness of being in MK while the sun was coming up! Or getting back to the resort at the time that others would be getting up! I’m definitely going to the next one!! Can’t wait for the wrap up and the next trip report. Obviously it’s going to be epic, Halloween is the greatest time of year!
