Where In The World 21. We are now completely legal!!!

:rotfl: All the decades so far but the right one. :goodvibes It's not the '50's, 60's, 80's or 90's and nothing to do with a computer or video game. :goodvibes :tink:

70's?

New crop to start the week and hopefully THE END of hurricane season for us ... would feel better about that statement if not for the fact that we are now STARTING "peek season" :faint:...

Park, resort or other?

I like country music! But I never would have guessed that. Looks like an 8 track tape?

Looks like some kind of bird??? :tink:

it's a carving on the wall, can you guess what it is now? It's not a bird.

So glad to see DW made it through the hurricane even though Irma, eventually went right over the Animal Kingdom last night! The people in the resorts were singing praises to the Disney staff all night long. If I'm ever in Florida in a hurricane, I definitely want to be in a Disney resort!! They never even lost power or Wifi!

Received a text from Ed a little before noon. They lost power last night around 8:45 and he's charging his phone in his car; network seems to be nonexistent and searching or sending texts drains his battery. His Mom and Dad's house is fine; he'll check on his later.

Tree damage to resorts is bad; Port Orleans is a MESS. Trees down at many of the resorts and at AK...large trees :(. Read last night parts of AoA lost power briefly but all others kept power. The Poly had rain blowing in through longhouse doors; the doors were "bowing" the wind was so strong as well as some of the patio doors in the rooms. Trees and landscape damage there also. Epcot's FW was full of leaves/debris and some flooding but the castle area was already spotless when picture was posted.

Okay TERRI...it's time to hear from you ...:tink:

Can't tell what's part of the animal and what's just part of the wall :scratchin; a "jungle animal"? :tink:

...and from a post on another thread about the roads into Florida:

  1. For people planning on driving down. We flew into Virginia last year from the UK just after the hurricane and were planning on driving from Virginia down to Florida. The roads on the I95 we're really badly damaged. There were huge holes massive parts of the road were closed off and we had to take back ways. For a good hour and a half of the trip we honestly thought we'd have to turn around because we just couldn't get through. Thankfully we doubled back and managed to find an obscure way around. So just be careful with driving and check if you can the roads you'll be using because there's nothing like being nine hours into a thirteen hour drive and realising you'll probably have to turn around. .

We're due to fly into Florida this time thankfully because I cannot handle that stress again with the roads. Also it's not much fun being on a 9+ hour flight and then having the drive for 13+ hours.
Huge cleanup ahead for Florida; Texas knows the feeling. :( :tink:
