I know how you feel about being able to afford the trip. I can be bad at saving money and I feel DBF is putting no effort into saving as well. I have 3 weeks to save $1,200 and right now it seems impossible!! I had a good chunk saved but of course things came up and I never was able to pay it back, I SHOULD of just started making weekly payments, which I'm doing now, I try not to stress too much because I want to enjoy the planning stage. I know when the time comes everything will work out, 3 weeks is better than 1 week right?? Good luck on everything!!!

I am down to 332 though!!! Good luck on saving! It was hard but I am so glad I did it. After it is paid, I can relax and start buying me things again!

Cute report! I love the headbands, so you don't mess up your hair with a hat. I will have to order one! Congrats on having the flights booked!

Whooo!!! I have 282 left. I will be doing 100 this week, and next week 182$! I can't wait to have this trip paid off. It will be a breath of fresh air

You see he kinda told a lie about attending school but did not attend this fall semester. After a long morning and dialing my Disney specialist. I have decided with or without him I am going. I have worked so hard making sure everything was in order, saving, planning, and spending countless hours on the DIS, I deserve it. I obviously have a lot to think about and didn't want to post this but, I figured my readers/friends needed the truth. Here is me hoping we can make it through this and rekindle our romance and find each other and trust once more. Maybe now more than ever we need Disney.

I'm so sorry you're in this position! Being lied to is one of the worst things. It's a terrible feeling.

I definitely think you should go regardless. You've earned this trip, and you deserve to enjoy it. Don't let all your hard work be for nothing. If you do end up going alone, it may not be the trip of your dreams, but I fully believe you'll have a blast. I've read lots of reports from people who've gone alone and they seem to really love it. Or you could always bring a friend instead, if one is available.

That said, I do really hope that things work out! You'll have to keep us all posted.

Wow, I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. That's a pretty big deal/lie to tell. I really hope you guys are able to work it out.

But definitely go no matter what. I think Disney is a great place to vacation solo. I know there are also threads on the DIS where you can look for meet ups with other members that are traveling the same time as you. Or as rebeccaariel said, see if a friend wants to come with you.

Thank you Alysa, My coworkers and family and friends have been really good in making me realize that I worked my butt off for the trip. My boss threatened to fire me if I didn't go

It was a really big lie, and especially with a trip I planned for us it made me think a lot harder about what i was and am going to do. I thought about going solo and spending the money I was going to save on a Spa day but.. see next post

After 2 days of crying... Not only is my head killing but my heart is still. I don't know if I will ever be able to trust him like I did... not right away at least. But I have to try. He is a good man and his family is good to me. The trip is still on and the only thing that made me decide to go was a sign from God. And I believe in God but I don't praise him enough for the things he does.

So I am sitting in my bosses office asking if I can cancel my request for time off and my coworker brings me in my bags of shipments I ordered last week for Disney. I got our backpack, my shorts, and some shirts. And like I said I am not normally one of those people who gush about signs, but it truly was.

I contemplated going alone. None of my friends really have time to take off since I work with them. I thought of taking a friends kid, but none of them have been to Disney and I didn't want to take that from them.

So as it stands I am still going on my perfect vacation. This is working out better for me now because I made him sign a contract that he will not complain about how many times I want to ride It is a Small World or how many parades and lines we wait in. But I want to thank you girls for the support, I needed all I could get this week

I have the day off so it is finishing packing
Pack for Minkiss
Drive from Kalamazoo to Hillsdale (it is about an hour south of us) to drop off Minkiss(my dog) and say our good byes. My plan is to be down there by 3 to miss traffic.
Leave Hillsdale around 6pm, hopefully one of our parents cook us dinner ha, probably wishful thinking. If not grab something off dollar menu.
From Hillsdale we leave for Chicago. It is about a 3 hour and 20 Minute commute. We will hopefully arrive at around 10. (giving us some leeway since neither of us have really drove in Chicago) and it is an hour behind us.
I found some hotels that have deals where you can stay, park and fly. It is around 90 dollars to do it, however with an early flight, and parking being 50 without it. I think it is a great idea.
Saturday3/2
Wake up at 3:30am I laugh like im going to sleep.
Take the shuttle at 4:15am to make it to the airport by 4:30am. We are flying United and our departure time is at 6:00am. I have never flown out of Chicago so I'm a little nervous. Our flight will land at 9:36. We are taking the ME to All star Sports.
If our room is available we will check in, if not get out tickets and go to EPCOT
No ADRS that day and we are paying out of pocket that day for food. I budgeted 50 for food that day.
It will be an early night for us since we have an early adr

I am not a big fan of AK, so i figured i will be ready to leave around 3 and we are going to head to Downtown Disney. For dinner Earl of a Sandwich.

I want to make rope drop, but if we sleep in, we sleep in.
We have an ADR at SCI Fi for lunch at 2, And im getting Buffalo Chicken Potato Skins!!!

It depends on whether or not we feel up to rope drop and how much we get done on Sat. It is also the 2nd day into the flower/garden so there is a lot to see
We have an ADR at Garden Grille for Dinner, I think around 4.
We also have 2 CS and 2 Snack credits to use

Is it weird that I'm getting teary eyed just writing this?
We will pack the morning of, since we are changing hotels that day. check out and go to pop century, check in and leave our bags and take the bus to MK. Im hoping to have all this accomplished and be at the park by 10a.
We will finish up whatever credits left. And have an ADR at 4pm at... Be our Guest. We will watch the electric parade and wishes then go back to POP.
Friday
Wake up, do some pool time, change then check out at noon, take a cab to World Wide of sports, watch the braves play at 1:05. Go back to the resort around 5, get our bags and board the ME, the airport, and take it back to Chicago, pending on how much money we have left, we may stay the night since we wont get back until 10pm..

Sounds action packed I love baseball and I love the Tigers and the Braves (my two fav teams). I am glad you are still going, you did work very hard for this and i know how not fun it is to have to cancel a trip. Those shirts are too cute and not only should you make him wear it, but get all the pics of him in it that you can. . . to show EVERYONE you all know when you get back of course Enjoy your trip

Thanks!!!! I love the tigers too, his parents are season ticket holders. The tigers are playing the braves on the Thursday we are down there. But it is the last day at the park. Believe me I am going to take sooo many pictures that day!!
