Service men/women to Keep in our Prayers...feel free to add to the list

Let's remember the 19 men from the 3rd Battalion, 25th Regiment Marines stationed in Ohio who gave their lives and were buried over the past 2 weeks, so that we may enjoy the freedoms that we do. Remember those that went before them and the families that are left behind.
And, ALWAYS remember those still serving stateside and around the globe that they all make it home, safe and sound.

I am very grateful for all these men and women who are sacraficing themselves for us here in the US. My best friend lost her husband in Afghanistan, October 30, 2003. Stff. Sgt. Paul Sweeney will always be in our hearts and is sadly missed. Paul lives on in his 2 sons, Sean and Ryan. And this weekend we are having a get together for my brother-in-law, who is leaving next month for Iraq. He is in the Navy reserve. I appreciate all of the men and women who do their job for their country. We are so blessed by their unselfishness. Thank you.

My little brother is over in Korea(has only been there since August 26th) and has been told that he may end up in Iraq by Nov/Dec

HI all

Just wanted to let you know that I am sending best wishes from Scotland. My husband was in the Gulf in 2003 when his territorial unit was called into active service. he returned safe and sound but there is a real threat my little brother will have to go soon.I still have friends out there just now. God keep you safe and return you all to your families.

My son, John Milligan, is in the Army. He joined right after high school graduation. He has been stationed in Germany since January 2004. On October 5 he left for Kuwait. After three weeks of training there, he will be in Iraq for about a year. Before the Army will discharge him, he will have to spend three more months in Germany (his tour of duty is up in June 2005). I have not seen him since Jan. 2004.

My son is Sgt. Ryan Looper, US Army. He is on his second tour w/OIF. 505th Engineers. He was deployed 08/2005. He has a beautiful wife of 3 1/2 yrs. named Valarie who is holding down the home front. I'm praying for all troops serving and the families/friends that love them. We had the most magical family trip to WDW for Thanksgiving 2004 after he came home from Iraq and are already booked for Thanksgiving 2006 in faith that he will be home by then. He has told me that conditions for the soldiers are better than when he was there before. Please pray for him and our family as Christmas will be very difficult this year. It is the 1 yr. anniversary of my FIL's death and with our son away it will be sad for my MIL. Thanks for this thread and for your prayers.

My wife's nephew, Specialist Michael Gilmer has been in Iraq for about 2 weeks and was one of the soliders injured in the mortor attack on Christmas morning. Thankfully nothing serious just a split head opening that was stitched. Please keep him and his family and fellow army buddies in your thoughts and prayers.

My dad is in the US Navy and I have to part with him for 3 months at a time. My uncle is leaving to go Iraq in Feb. and I honestly do not think that his wife and daughter can manage on their own. He will be gone for 13 months, and his daughter can't be away from him for more than a couple of days. I pray for both of these men, and both of their families, along with the entire armed forces and their families.

My Brother in Law (he's only 19 ) is in the Army (he's a scout) he's currently stationed in Germany, but thinks Iraq is in his near future :sad1:

My newphew LCpl Roy A. Villareal USMC will be heading to Iraq this September. He is currently in California before heading out to Iraq. Please pray for his safety as I always do for other military men/women who are keeping us protected.

My cousin, Joe, is in the Marines and is in Iraq right now. I haven't heard an update as to where he is. I think he should be coming home in a few more months, and then he will be stationed in the US. His fiancee's baby shower is in a few weeks. I am just praying for a safe return so they can begin their life together.
