(Not so) Patiently Awaiting June...and our Disneymoon! All Checked in to WL 6/16!!

i love you day two plans:) sounds like a busy but very exciting day! I love CP also-- poohs puffed french toast is to die for!! I always want to try the sea- racers -- you will have to let me know how it is if you try it:) Oh and Pecos bills pulled pork is soo good!! I had it for the first time last week during my short inpulsive maye trip LOL it was amazing! I can't wait to hear more:)

I could SO go for some of that french toast right this second! Exactly 4 weeks form today we get to enjoy it!! I'm going to try to have day 3 up very soon!

Day 2 plans sound great, you know what you want to do ,but every minute is not planned to the second.
Thanks! Yeah we try to have a general plan mapped out but nothing too crazy! Our first full park day is always a busy one, but so fun because the entire trip is still ahead of you!

Yay I am so excited for you-- 3 weeks, my love! Sorry it took me two months to get here-- I've been busy being pregnant and with the new job! I can't wait until you get married and get to spend 10 months in the wonderful world of Disney! We're taking our baby October 11-17 to Old Key West and then going to Disney's Vero Beach Oct 17-20 :) I'll be living vicariously through you (we were supposed to stay at villas @ WL in November, but when I switched jobs my maternity leave flew out the window!)

I MISSED YOU!

YAY I am SO excited that you are back! I have missed you dearly lol! We are so excited, WL is beautiful and I can't believe its only 18 days away!! :yay: When is the baby due?? I love that you already have his first trip planned, that is super exciting! I hope the new job is going well, thanks for stopping by!!

Hey Disers! I hope you are all doing well! I’m not sure how many people are out there reading this, but I know a few of my friends are with me so that’s all that matters ☺

The wedding is less than three weeks away, and we will be in Disney in two weeks and 6 days! I can’t believe how incredibly close this trip is! Last night we had our Jack and Jill. We went to Foxwoods Casino here in CT with about 20 of our friends to play Bingo (highstakes Bingo is sooo fun, and they have a HUGE bingo hall there) and go out for dinner and drinks at Hard Rock Cafe. It was a really fun, relaxed time. Our friends raised some money for us, they were really generous and thanks to them today we will be going to pick out a camcorder to take with us on our trip! My parents were always big on taking videos of our Disney trips growing up, and we want to keep that tradition going on our first “family” trip!

So on to Day 3 plans! June 28th
This day we will be heading back to Epcot for a full day. Here we are in Epcot last June. It was a year ago today that we left for that trip!

I want to try and make it for rope drop. The ceremony at this park is probably my least favorite, but it is worth it to follow the herd and hop in the stanby line for Soarin’. Me and Kyle just LOVE this ride, we get giddy at that moment when you first “take off”. I am a huge dork, when I went to San Francisco, we were on a Ferry to that went around and under the Golden Gate Bridge. The wind was blowing and with the smell of the bay, all I could think of was “This reminds me of Soarin”! Haha I also thought that again when we were driving through a redwood forest.

After Soarin’, we’ll grab some FPs for later in the day, and then probably get in the stanby line for Test Track, followed by Mission Space, more extreme side of course! Not sure how much longer til I’ll need green side though, every year my stomach gets a little more sensitive to it! We have a set routine it seems on those first Epcot mornings, so if we follow the trend we’ll be going to Universe of Energy next followed by Spaceship Earth. When I was a kid that was our traditional first ride at Epcot, but that has since changed since the line is never too long and we have to rush to get FPs and ride the “thrill rides” first thing in the morning.

After Space, it will most likely be lunch time, and probably return time for our Soarin’ FP, so we will head to the Land to ride that and have lunch at Sunshine Seasons. Kyle loves the sandwiches, and I am obsessed with their chicken and mashed potatoes. The desserts are awesome too. I discovered that their chocolate cake is the exact same one they serve at Le Cellier. Mmmm so good!

After lunch we will probably ride Living with the Land. We are considering using some of the money on our Disney Honeymoon Registry card to take the Behind the Seeds tour too, we if we are in the mood we might sign up for this that day too. My parents and brother did it last October and said it was great, and super affordable for a Disney tour!

Before we leave Futureworld, I want to take Kyle to Innoventions to do Sum of All Thrills if the line is not too long. My brother and I had fun making our coaster there in January. Then we’ll probably play the Waste Management game that is across from there. We did that in Jan. too and it was really cute and fun, and we are very big into recycling so it’s very interesting to us.

After conquering Futureworld, it is off to World Showcase. I’m sure another boat ride in Mexico and a fiesta margarita will be involved! Then some shopping in beers around the world for Kyle. I want to see the videos in France, Canada, and China so those will probably be a way to beat the heat at some point in the afternoon.

Our TS ADR that day at dinner is San Angel Inn at 6pm. This was the location of first “Disney Date”, just the two of us in 08, so it is nostalgic for us. And the atmosphere is so romantic! Kyle has a Three Caballeros tshirt (he LOVES Donald) so I am sure he will wear it that day!

After dinner I want to try and see Illuminations. We usually get drinks and sit at the Cantina de San Angel but since that is being renovated, we will stake out a new spot early.

So it will be another jam packed day! I really want to make it back to the hotel for a swim in the awesome WL pool, and that will be a great way to unwind!

Up Next: Day 4, DHS for the day!!

Your Day 3 plans sound great. My DH and I also plan on eating at San Angel on our trip. I will have to remember about the chocolate cake at Sunshine Season. I love my chocolate, and we have always enjoyed eating at the land.

Thanks!! San Angel is yummy, there have been some bad reviews of it, but we've never been disappointed. I really want to wait this time for a table near the "river" because I would love to watch the boats go by! We were off to the side by the restrooms last time, not bad but not the greatest spot!

The cake is to die for! So moist and chocolatey, it is a mousse filling which I usually don't love but this one is SO good! :thumbsup2

So I have been a sneaky fiance this evening and I booked a little surprise for DF! I hope he doesn't log on here and read this haha! He and I were checking out AllEars in March and saw that they brought back the Wishes Dessert parties. I read a review and they looked awesome, I LOVE desserts and they had lots of fruity ones that Kyle would like, so we were both intrigued. Kyle told me to call and book it, but I hesitated because we are watching Wishes both from Ohana and Cali Grill. Still, I was thinking about it while watching a Youtube video of the new Nighttastic fireworks (they look awesome!), and decided I really wanted a good spot to see them from the parks. I hate waiting a long time to hold a good viewing spot, and I know it will be crowded when we are there, so I thought this would be a fun solution. So, I called tonight to see if they are doing it through June, and they are so I booked it for June 27th, the second night of our trip and our all day MK day! I am so excited, Kyle will love the surprise and it will be a great way to watch the fireworks!

Here are some pics I stole from AllEars...YUM!

The Dessert Party! How awesome is that?!

Thanks!! I think it will be a fun treat for DF. I love surprising him :) And I love dessert!!

Hi Kristen!! No worries, I am having a hard time keeping up on here myself! I make time mainly because my trip is sooo close so I can't bare to stay away :rotfl: Thanks for the well wishes, not feeling too stressed so far! (knock on wood lol) Hope you and the boys are doing well, thanks for stopping by!!

you're almost there!! so exciting!

I know!! It is crazy, we've been waiting for this trip for a very long time and now its 11 days away woo hooo!

Hi readers! Well, we are only 10 days away from the wedding and 11 days from the trip! I can’t believe how soon it is! Place cards were made this weekend. I bought my attendants their gifts. Cute wine glasses that say “Bridesmaid” on them, and pretty pearl earrings for the girls, and monogrammed flasks for the guys, all in our wedding colors of green and brown! Those are wrapped and ready to go.

I also created a fun hat for Kyle to wear on the honeymoon. The top hats they sell do not fit his head, and he quite frankly wouldn’t have worn it, but I got the veil headband and I wanted something for him too. I kinda stole the idea from lurkyloo’s wedding TR. She made one for her DH….it’s a regular black baseball hat with “Groom” stiched on the front, and I attached Mickey ears to it! I bought the ears for 5 bucks on Main Street when I was there in January, in the section where they have make-your-own Mickey ears. My dad used super glue, which I thought wouldn’t be enough to attach them, but the felt of the ears took really well to the glue and the fabric of the hat. They aren’t going anywhere! It came out cute I think . Free dessert magnets! I will post a pic of it later tonight when I’m at home.

Anyways, on to Day 4 plans! Gotta finish this up!
June 29th- AK Day!

This morning we are tentatively planning on waking up and boating over to the Poly to have breakfast at Captain Cooks. I am eager to check out the breakfast choices at Roaring Fork, but DF is dying to have Tonga Toast again, so this is a quick and easy way to do that (not really interested in the other offerings at Kona, and I don’t eat Tonga toast so that’s out). I think I will get their breakfast sandwich because it is so good.

After our bellies our full, we’ll grab a bus to AK! First on the agenda are Everest FP’s, then we’ll see where the day takes us! Here are our must do’s at AK:

-Everest (shooting for two rides!)
-Kilimanjaro Safari (in the morning while the animals active)
-Finding Nemo the Musical (we checked this out last trip purely to get some AC but it was AWESOME and a must do on each trip now!)
-Conservation Station/Rafiki’s Planet Watch (because Kyle has never been)
-It’s Tough to be a Bug
-Kali River Rapids (purely because it will be so HOT)
-Dinosaur
-Primevil Whirl
-Shopping- I love the stores and the atmosphere
-Getting a drink at the bar in Africa…the one that Tinkgurl says is so good (the name escapes me at the moment haha)

Lunch will be at Yak and Yeti. We ate there last year and loved the egg rolls and honey chicken. The portions are huge and the food was really fresh and not greasy.
We will be heading over to AKL around 5:00 or so. We have Boma dinner ressies at 6:05, and we want to grab a drink from the cool bar they have there beforehand. We got money towards it on our Disney Honeymoon gift card. It will be nice to have a drink and unwind before our awesome dinner! I love the soups and desserts at Boma, and the potatos with Afritude. I am excited!

After Boma we will head over to DHS. Maybe get in a ride or two on TT, and whatever else we are in the mood for, and see Fantasmic! I hate how they only have it on certain nights now. We are there for 10 days and this is only one of 2 nights we can see it! Oh well, it is worth it!

So there you have it, Day 4! I will try and have Day 5

Love the idea of Mickey Ears on a baseball hat. How clever! Day 4 plans looks great. I've never had tonga toast (yet), but I hope to try it sometime. I'm pretty sure that drink in Africa is called Lost on Safari and it does look super delicious! I'm thinking of giving it a try myself. :goodvibes

Thank you, I knew someone would come through with the name of that drink for me! Can't wait to try it! I am not a banana fan so that is why I don't get Tonga Toast but I always have a bite of the outside of DF's :goodvibes

Yesss..you have to try Lost on a Safari!! I hope you like it. And if you don't, don't blame me please. :flower3: :rotfl2:

I can't believe how close you are getting to your wedding. That is so exciting!!!
