Please be aware that you would only have the CP for the remainder of this year (so at this point probably a maximum of 10 months and more realistically 8-9 months).
The tradition CC method for earning a CP can get you one for a minimum of 13 months and for many people up to 23 months of usage.
And so this “best offer in the history of Mankind” (I kid) is actually more like a “Meh” offer for most churners.
No problems at all booking one way fares with United (all 5 of my current United reservations are one way). It's very strategic to use on person's stash of miles/points to book multiple tickets v. paying out the nose to transfer. DH has unwittingly used his miles for several of my flights.

Do Chase biz cards get chase offers? My biz cards are in a different account from my personal cards, so I only have the info for the personal cards on my app. Am I missing out?
(we need a FOMO emoji around here)
Cool! That was actually our assessment - this offer was intended for non-churners.Lol, I should have known. I only went back around 4 pages and didn't see mention of it.
I'm not a churner and it's actually perfect for me.
We have nothing planned for 2020 so the CP isn't necessary
Personally if you don’t think you’d use the CP until sept you’d prob only get one use for it in 2019. Maybe wait on SW until 2020 for CP. I’d get the CIP now, and go for Hilton. Transfer CIP URs to SW to cover sept flight. Then go for SW CP late 2019. Lower CLs and 3 biz that spaced out should work!So we are much closer to finishing the BBP spend than I anticipated. We were able to put some reimbursed spend on the card and little things add up, as they like to do, so I'm looking for a new card in Feb instead of Mar.
Since I'm still 4/24 and looking to do a short trip to Vegas to help celebrate a birthday in a few months that seems like it'll take a good chunk out of our SW stash, I started entertaining the idea of the SW Biz card. 60k points can last us a while. I was trying to avoid another Chase biz card until the summer but when I said no biz cards for a year, an airline card doesn't count, surely Then I thought if I get that one, you almost have to pair it with a personal for the CP, right? In for a penny, in for a pound and all and wow, wouldn't need to pay for a flight for a long time with 110k+ points. That would take me to 5/24 but I have a card dropping off in May so really no harm there and won't need to MDD or anything at that point.
But then I started wondering about the CIP. The white whale. I didn't get it first as I didn't think I could make the spend but then after getting the CIC turned out we could do it, d'oh. On a normal basis 5k in 3 months is hard for us. I'd be hoping for some light MS with bank account funding as we're less liquid than last year and don't have as much float while we build up the reserves again. I had thought I might try over the summer as we'd have a back up plan with the school taxes payment if the bank account funding didn't go through. The township takes CC's now for an ok fee, so the worst case scenario is we use a little of the bonus to pay the fee. Sounds good, but with all the changes going on should I risk a known 80k bonus for what might be around 6 months from now? And with an itty bitty "business" do I risk not getting the CIP after getting the SW biz a few months before? Ugh.
I see two roadmaps:
A.
Feb - go for CIP, cross fingers PNC is happy enough with me now to let me fund a savings account and not reverse it like last time; hope for 115 day MSR window
Mar - assuming PNC works, try Hilton 100k before support offer ends (stretch to last day maybe) and cross all fingers and toes I can make overlapping MSRs
Jun/Jul - try SW Biz to replenish stash.
Sep - SW plus inflight offer
Dec - ?? I'll be back to 4/24 at this point so sky's the limit.
B.
Feb - go for SW Biz [4/24]
Apr/May - try for SW plus inflight offer (or hope the link still work on land) [5/24]
May - card drops off report [4/24]
Jul - go for CIP, hope Chase thinks I'm good enough for 3 biz cards [4/24]
Oct - go for whatever Hilton is available to replenish that stash? [5/24]
Nov - card drops off report [4/24]
Dec - ??
I like B better as then I can use the CP for our flights in Sep. We have nothing planned for 2020 so the CP isn't necessary, it'll get used as we tend to fly at least once a year and probably twice, so it's nice knowing for sure you got value out of it. With B I contemplated playing chicken with the Hilton reporting date but with the timing of my flights and card drop off date I might screw myself. Then again getting the SW Biz might screw with the CIP too. But with A, if I can pull off the CIP I could always transfer UR to SW if needed and it fits in all the cards I wanted for 2019 - it's just risky and have no definitive plans for the CP I'd get for 2020. So I haven't come up with the perfect scenario yet Also contemplated just ditching the CIP for now and taking the easier CIU spend, as I can't see them keeping that card at a 50k offer indefinitely. So many options, what am I missing?
Stats:
5/17 - NCL [1/24]
11/17 - Discover [2/24]
4/18 - CSR [3/24]
4/18 - CSP [4/24]
5/18 - CIC [4/24]
10/18 - Barclay AA Biz [4/24]

Staples usually carries $50 Disney GCs in store.
Alternatively, you can do as @amalone1013 suggested, and use the Staples 10% back Amex Offer to take advantage of Staple’s fee-free $200 VGC deal that starts this Sunday, then run those VGCs over to Best Buy to buy Disney Gift Cards, and scanning Swagbucks, $100 per day to maximize a SB return worth $9.50, plus whatever Best Buy rewards depending on your Elite status. Effectively up to ~20% off Disney if you’re comfortable buying VGCs from Staples with your Amex.

Oh, but you will! Something about that CP and all those SW points will make you want to take a bunch of trips. I've said more than once this year "hey, lets go to Disney for the long weekend, because we fly for free now!". Hmmm...now that I think of it, this CP has cost me way more in $$$ spent at Disney.

On the new SW offer, my DS is interested. He currently has the $69. Could he apply for the $99 card and get the bonus, while the $69 card is still open?
I believe he is at 3/24, I will double check and his credit limits. New home purchased in August, 795-800 score. I think he should be good to get it?
Then he could theorectically open PNC and fund $2000 and maybe even a PNC savings for the other $2000?
First rule: DO NOT do P2P (using PayPal, Venmo, etc.) between family/relatives/people who share the same last name or address using Amex cards. There are lots of DPs that Amex will freeze your accounts and hit you with a mini-FR.
2: Venmo payments make sense on the CIP because even though Venmo charges a 3% fee to use credit cards, the CIP earns 3x UR on the payment and the fee. And more importantly, Chase doesn't care about P2P payments between family/relatives/people who share the same last name or address.
3: Venmo cares somewhat if you're using their platform for MS, and will freeze or close your account (thus tying up any of your funds they're holding) if they think you're doing something shady. Venmo has tightened restrictions to limit users to adding only 4 credit/debit cards to your account in a rolling 6 months period. This limits the velocity and utility of liquidating certain MCGC/VGC gift cards as debit (and therefore no fee) through Venmo. Venmo also has limits on amounts transferred and withdrawn per week unless you take steps to verify your account.
4: Think of Venmo as only a conduit. If you are doing P2P between you and DD -- say you send $1k for "text books and lab fees" or "winter clothes shopping" or "new computer" to DD via Venmo, DO NOT have DD send the $1k back to you via the same conduit (i.e., Venmo). Have her withdraw the $1k to her bank, then write you a check or do an electronic transfer. Once the funds are withdrawn from DD's Venmo account, Venmo has no idea where those funds go next. Doesn't matter if DD has the same bank as you or not -- as long as she can get the money back to you to pay your CC bill and as long as she doesn't use Venmo to transfer the funds back to you.
5: It's a good idea to "season" your Venmo account to establish some pattern or history of transfers, so the occasional $500 or $2000 doesn't look like a big deal. For your college aged DD, it looks totally natural for a caring mom to send money for textbooks, lab fees, club dues, tuition, shopping, fun, ski trips, spring break, etc. Be creative. Use those emojis.
