Yeah, but should we be on the lookout for a retiree on vacation with his wife and two girls or a millennial and his parents?

I also have the Staples 10% offer on my Hilton Biz. Never thought about going there for Disney GCs. Kind of annoying that the in-store pickup option for them still includes the $1.99 fee per GC, bleh. Hopefully the store has physical GCs.
Staples usually carries $50 Disney GCs in store.
Alternatively, you can do as @amalone1013 suggested, and use the Staples 10% back Amex Offer to take advantage of Staple’s fee-free $200 VGC deal that starts this Sunday, then run those VGCs over to Best Buy to buy Disney Gift Cards, and scanning Swagbucks, $100 per day to maximize a SB return worth $9.50, plus whatever Best Buy rewards depending on your Elite status. Effectively up to ~20% off Disney if you’re comfortable buying VGCs from Staples with your Amex.

How risky is this? I've not dabbled before now, but if it's not a huge risk I have no qualms. Plus, I'm Elite Plus at Best Buy so that's nice.

low volumes are okay. As long as your Amex card isnt on a MSR. As for Best Buy, low volume is okay... the only risk ive seen with best buy is that they reset your account, but this only happens when u hit best buy hard.

Well, that's one negative - the only Amex card this was on is an MSR card. Maybe I'll just go for straight Disney GCs to be safe for now.
The Staples offer is good til something like 6/30/19. Can you hit MSR, then save the AO for after MSR? You know fee free and discounted VGCs/MCGCs come around frequently.
Chase United Biz up to 75k miles (5k spend). I sure wish I could get this one. I could use United miles. Cruse you 5/24, curses!
Oh! When one door closes, another one opens. This is much better than the 65k/$10k tiered offer on the Explorer that just ended 2-3 days ago.
I want this one too because we can always use United miles, but I’m at 5/24 until March (and I had planned to go for the CIU next.) Hoping this public offer sticks around a bit. Decisions decisions. But easy one for DW! She’s 2/24 (dropping to 0/24 in the next two months) with only 2 Chase biz cards. I was going to get the Explorer for her, but like I said this is much better.
Thanks for the info @GlamMistress — I hadn’t checked DoC yet. And I’m sorry you’re ineligible for this. Now to go do some trimming on DW’s CLs...
ETA: Seeing chatter that the offer end date is 3/18/19.
That's exciting. Definitely going to get one - question is whether it will be for me or DH. You can transfer United miles between people, right? Aggregating them under my name so I can book the whole fam under one itinerary. I'm thinking DH will be the one to get the card - I have 2 chase biz cards and am planning to do the CP thing later this year, so I don't want to pick up another just now. DH only has the CIP from chase, so I think he's good to go for another biz card with them )
Yep, I noticed the Staples offer is good for a while. The main reason I was looking now is we're headed to WDW next month, 2/17 to be exact I think. Not certain I'll hit MSR before then, but if I do I can keep it in mind.
Sure! We are staying at/near Disney from Mar 29-31 (or Apr 1). Still looking for a room
ppl used to have lime green mickey symbols on their bags or stickers when i still worked there... is usually a good indicator that its a disboard member... im not sure if ppl do that still.
@Lain - Ouch. When I'm doing award tickets, can I have them pull from multiple accounts for one itinerary? Or maybe I buy the tix to Europe through my account and the tix on the way home from his account - I've got a big pile of URs that I can move around and transfer to two united accounts if I need to, although that sounds a little complicated. Never done this with United before, and its going to be a bit more complicated than usual. Any issues with booking one ways on United for award travel? I think we're flying from our home airport to one European city, but may fly back to a different airport (one of the 3 NYC airports) from a different city on the return journey.
