I was scrolling through the calendar to consider booking this and noticed that it’s not open for June yet, no surprise there, but that the calendar doesn’t go beyond July seems strange. Anyone think that’s odd?
Not odd at all. No calendar is going to go past July right now.

I know in December it was a huge problem that they hadn't even opened up January yet.
Currently they are open through May so I'm wondering if I should expect June/July to follow soon or should I expect its not gonna open until June/July?
I think it’s anyones guess at this point, there doesn’t seem to be a definite pattern that I’ve observed.

Do they charge you immediately when you book?
Yes.

Ugh after last time I said I wouldn't do it again but after time to cool down from my experience I find myself considering it for my next trip especially since it will be the last time I see Illuminations and after that I may or may not even care about the new nighttime show.

At least this time I am prepared for what could happen and feel more comfortable spending the money and possibly not being able to go on the ride.

I heard before that the first to book get the best tables along the railing.
Is that true?

Any indication on when July dates will be released?

I booked day of last time so my card was charged immediately so wasn't sure if that was the case for those that book months ahead of time.

No, I booked day off last weekend and got a table on the rail.

Yea, you pay at booking no matter when you book

I can’t confirm definitively, but I booked our January 11 party the first day it was available to book (which was only a few weeks before our visit), and got what I would consider the very best table, right on the rail, close to the ice cream table. We were also chosen (4 adults) as the family of the night, to lead the crowd to Frozen after the show. That was a hoot. No idea when that choice is made. Overall the party was worth every penny, to us.

Yes, it is charged immediately.

Sorry if it was posted early in the thread, but what happened the first time?

That's correct, it doesn't matter when you book or what letter your last name begins with. It's just the luck of the draw where you end up. If the venue is set up as it should be, and every once in a while it isn't, everyone gets a good view.

Last time it was in Norway and it seemed like we were sat at a "misfits" table of last minute bookers lol.
We also had n o music and were the farthest from the bar.
When exactly do they decide who will sit where?

I'm visually impaired so right up against the railing is MY good view.
Since it was inside and we just walked over for the fireworks everyone was able to stand against the railing which was great.

We were one of the first to check in and be escorted upstairs and we were still at what I'd considering a terrible table in relation to food, bar, and music.
My response was to "We were also chosen (4 adults) as the family of the night, to lead the crowd to Frozen after the show. That was a hoot. No idea when that choice is made." Sorry if I wasn't clear.

I can assure you that no one is regarded as misfits no matter when they book the party. On many nights there are "walk-ups" and they are treated just like everyone else.

Table assignment varies slightly from party manager to party manager, but they'll usually assign the tables, if the party is going to take place at the lagoon-side venue, no more than a day or two before the party. Except for cold temps, they don't usually know ahead of time whether or not they'll go inside, so tables are assigned after 5pm on nights when it has been decide to move the party indoors. That's usually the time when a weather call has to be made as to where the party will take place. Again, no rhyme or reason as to where Guests will be seated. They have a Guest list and just fill up the tables. It's pretty basic.

No music? What music?

We were inside and they had Frozen music on but not in our section. I realize outside there is likely no music at all but felt a little cheated that it wasnt playing throughout the upstairs. Maybe it would have uplifted the miserable family at our table lol.

Guess my mind was elsewhere, but I wasn't aware that they had any Frozen music at the Norway Loft venue. They should have it but because there is the standard Epcot music in the background, it doesn't work out at the outdoor venue.

I booked my last party the first day it opened and I swear we had the absolute worst seat in the place. We were against the back rail with tables in front of us on the front rail plus the shrubs and light poles blocking our view. Other Frozen parties I've attended were better, but that one was plain bad. I am guessing that they added these couple tables last minute because I never noticed such bad seating before.

Ah ok. I missed the inside seating part

Just got back from the dessert party, held indoors, and can confirm Frozen music playing inside.
