Because 2BR usually is the same points as 2 1BR. 2 Studios sleep 8 people so more than enough beds for everyone. Usually you can get joining rooms. You loose all the extra space like kitchen, table, and washer/dryer but it works out to about half the points. Don't care about points 2BR way...

The cheapest option would be 2 studios which usually is equivalent to 1BR in points.

You probably not pay for much more to upgrade it. I had 5 day hopper and it cost us $120 more for DVC Gold AP. I was not going to get it but I wanted memory maker which was $170 discounted and it was cheaper to just upgrade on of our tickets to Gold AP.

I MISS Vero .. I was there last month and will be going down during Thanksgiving. Wish could of gotten Ocean view but no luck.

Do they let you go up to see the fireworks if you are not staying at BLT? When they opened you could not go up unless you were DVC staying at BLT at the time. We stayed in cash and owned BLT and they would not let us up.
