What we did one year was go on a 4 night cruise on the dream in November and then we returned spent one night at WDW and got Christmas party tickets. It was awesome! Next day we ate a hotel character breakfast buffet and then went to the airport. It was perfect!

Thank you for your report! We are thinking of a trip to TDR next year. How were the crowds? As bad as in Orlando? The few videos I’ve seen from TDR show a lot of empty space but the ones for the US ones often do too.

To me it only makes sense to do a split stay between MK resorts and Epcot resorts. Maybe see if it’s w/in budget to split between contemporary or WL and Swan/dolphin? You can use Marriott points for swolphin so could be on par w the Yacht/Pop split. If a split can’t work that way I’d just do 6...

For those ages and for your husbands food choices Beach Club would be a much better choice than Boardwalk. And then you have a nice split stay since one hotel is by Epcot /HS and then you will be right at MK when you stay at BLT

Those prices are insane! Although I guess people will pay.

If any of you are at a WDW resort you can book 1st LL at 7 am, rope drop, go to park, do some early rides then add LL at 9 am, etc

We only uber to/from airport and if we have an ADR at another resort. I guess we might try to take one if rope drop were really important to us but it’s not. I would never, ever take a car…walking through hot parking lots seems like torture. We are from NY so taking a bus just isn’t a bad thing...

We just booked our trip to the Poly next summer! I’m so excited. It’s all about Poolside Doke Whips and Tonga Toast!

Just to give an update on my quest for a bounceback Poly reservation next August, I was told that my preferred dates weren’t available for bounceback but we are able to cobble together a plan where 3 days are deeply discounted and 2 are at rack rate. These go fast!

We’ve done parks after cruise, but just one day. Going from the cruise to the airport stinks, much better to have a day at a WDW resort. We managed to time our cruises when there were Xmas or Halloween parties, so we would relax at resort all day then head to party at 4. And then the next...

If you mean the quiet pool nearest Epcot, yes all corridors are open there In the hotel. I havent been over to the villa area. This place is huge!
