For someone who has owned DVC since the 90's, I have a ridiculously noob question to ask. DH and I had never taken anyone with us to a MM event. I lost him in January and while I really don't know if I'm mentally ready, I'm determined to make the MM @ AK in August a "rite of passage" event...

Thank you!!!! Plan is to pick up wristbands as early as possible, go back to Kidani and then come back in the evening. I wish they'd go back to giving out the bands in the DVC lobby. That was so much easier.

Hi, we're going in August. I skimmed the thread but didn't see anything about when/where you can get the wristbands before 6. I'm guessing they still aren't doing it at the DVC hotels, but how early in the park? TIA!

I'm still hopeful, there are 430 in front of me (started at 2054), but this 24 minute mark is making me sweat.

Mine says "The queue is now paused" but it started counting down again. It had 1585 in front of me when it paused and right this second it's 1382.

Good luck to everyone!!! I'm set for September. Three devices. I never noticed the first # because it was fast. I was registered by 11:03. Other devices were 801 and 10983. I entered the waiting room on all of them last night.

Sometimes it takes an hour.

You can do it any time from now until 11 am. I don't know if anyone has ever had the same experience in the line where they could tell you the best time to join. Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you're not. But get in the room by 11, not after.

It's basically a waiting room - when it opens at 11, everybody in the waiting room gets a random place in line.
