DLR Vets: What are your top 3 not to be missed experiences?

Wow! That’s interesting! I just stacked all out quarters and Pennie’s for tomorrow! Lol! Super convenient but not quite as much fun as finding shiny Pennie’s!

DLR Vets: What are your top 3 not to be missed experiences?

These are wonderful!! I don't think I saw one about the pressed pennies? My kids all love them! they're relatively inexpensive souvenirs and are all over the park. We get a mini m&m container and empty it - fill it with 2 quarters and 1 shiny penny, repeat until full. Each kid gets one and can...

Flex Pass Superthread: Disneyland Resort Introduces New Annual Passport that Combines Value and Flexibility

i called a few weeks ago, only waited a few minutes to speak to someone and was able to request the refund for all of our passes (2 other adults). maybe it depends on who you get?

Flex Pass Superthread: Disneyland Resort Introduces New Annual Passport that Combines Value and Flexibility

I just spoke with a lovely representative on the annual pass holder line. no real wait by the way. I am just confirming what others have posted, the 2 options are not contacting them and they’ll just tack on the number of days the park was closed to the end of your expiration date. The other...

Flex Pass Superthread: Disneyland Resort Introduces New Annual Passport that Combines Value and Flexibility

So I tried to search through the thread to see if this has happened to anyone else, but didn’t see it. Forgive me if this is a repeat. We used our FP for the first time last week. I booked reservations for Saturday and Sunday and they were on the app no problem. When we got to the ticket booth...

    Price increase -- It's Here! (2/11/20)

Thank you! Bummer. I figured that would be our experience too, but plan to at least ask when we get our actual passes on Thursday. I was debating getting them when we upgraded, but wasn’t sure we’d need them if we just visit occasionally without trying to get on all the big ticket rides. It’s a...

    Price increase -- It's Here! (2/11/20)

I upgraded to flexpasses on NYE and figured we’d just add the maxpsss when we went. I’m so bummed it’ll be a lot more expensive to add it now! Wish I’d have just done it at the same time. :(

    Coffee cups?

We bring lots of food and drinks through. You’ll be fine. It saves time and money, and is very convenient for us :).

I wish I’d have added the max pass for the year to our flex passes! $100 was nice. I just figured I could add it on my next visit :(. Bummer! at this price I will think twice about it. As easy and helpful as it is, it adds up with a family of 5.

Reflections of my recent Trip - Including getting a BG

Thank you! we were there for NYE and enjoyed max pass and baby swap a lot! My 3yo is pretty tall so he can ride space and big thunder, but we definitely use his MP for FPs too. With the annual pass and more visits on the horizon I think it’ll be a nice change of pace not to feel pressured to...

Reflections of my recent Trip - Including getting a BG

Thanks for sharing your visit. we’ll be going in a few weeks using our FP for the first time, and I’m starting to think about our schedule. As much as we’d like to ride RoTR, I’m not sure we’ll be able to handle the crowds. We’ve got 2 toddlers and a teen, so early and patient aren’t a likely...

March Check-In **Official** Thread (Start with Post #17)

is that the Jr chef thing I saw online? No reservations just walk up right? I’ll go research it. :) my toddlers are much better eaters than my teens! They may love it! lol! My dh is gluten free and picky, so he may struggle more than the kids!! we’ll probably divide and conquer too! :)

March Check-In **Official** Thread (Start with Post #17)

Yew, this exactly! But I think we’ll end up on monsters and Ariel a bit more! :) I am stumbling into the food and wine festival! Looking at all the food and drink options...bonus! How child friendly is that event for those who have been? I know it’s Disneyland/ DCA, but we were there NYE and...

March Check-In **Official** Thread (Start with Post #17)

We will be going for a long weekend though Leap year into March 2. Staying at Candy Cane Inn and activating our new flexpasses!! What is: 1) The first thing you will do when you get to Disneyland? soak in Main street and being in Disneyland with my family. We are celebrating our 2 yo...

March Check-In **Official** Thread (Start with Post #17)

i just realized this too! :( my 2 yo daughter will be so sad! She loves the carousel best! mine too! I’m so bummed! I knew the one in DL would be closed, but she loved the critter carousel so I figured it would be a nice consolation for her. But now she won’t get either! :( Bummed, no...

Flex Pass Superthread: Disneyland Resort Introduces New Annual Passport that Combines Value and Flexibility

I tried to get tickets at 7am my time and the app let me add them but not confirm them. At 7am Ca time I was able to confirm them. Just wanted to post that. I now see the comment above mine, but wanted to add that even if the app lets you select that day to reserve, it won’t confirm it til 7am...

Counter service and other hacks for T2 Diabetes

I follow low carb and there are lots of options that are workable. I think the turkey legs, bunless cheeseburgers lots of places, or hot dog, salads are available most places, skewers at Bengal, and I think there are dill pickles a few places, eggs for breakfasts at a few places Flo’s, and plaza...

we actually didnt even get a DAS pass for our 3 yo (trauma background, sensory issues and frequent melt downs) this last trip. we used MP and did early Morning rope drop for rides w/o FPs (fantasy land and pirates in DL mostly). It was very manageable and he did so much better than I thought he...

Need Help Figuring Out Park Days/Rides

We rode racers twice on NYE and could have done single rider line and done it more. I say definitely get Max pass and use it to load up on fast passes! DCA can be easily done in 1 day. Do DL for 2 days, especially since Star Wars will be more crowded. We don’t hop, choosing maxpass instead...

Flex Pass Superthread: Disneyland Resort Introduces New Annual Passport that Combines Value and Flexibility

That’s probably a wise choice! I did it NYE at 10pm in the app on my phone. We upgraded No problem (Had to do it individually from the tickets in the app, not the main screen) but I messed up in scanning our tickets into the app initially and my daughter had my name as well. They will straighten...
