    Parking at the Fort...Charges Coming?

So, one of the perks of staying at a resort has always been free parking at the parks but now they're gonna charge to park at the resort. The bean counters at Disney have really gone above and beyond at thinking up new ways to squeeze cash out of its guests.

    Need Advice: Air Conditioner Repair

Are they sure it isn't just iced up? You can look by removing the filter cover and filter. Been camping in Florida several times this time of year and have had the fins become a solid block of ice which stops air flow. Shutting it off and letting it melt or turn it to fan only and letting it...

Picture of the day for the Fort.

On a side note, have any of you that use PB got your email notices yet? I had read about them on other forums and got my email yesterday. Basically they will no longer allow third party hosting with free accounts but if you join their Plus 500 Plan for a mere $399.99 a year you can continue to...

    Cable question

An older cheap TV, yes, in the electronics world 7 years old is old, is different than a newer cheap TV. We have a 29" 2 year old TV we bought for the 5ver and it will not work without a cable box. My "older" cheap TV will. Which is why I suggested testing it at home. That way the OP will now...

    Cable question

The TV has to be "cable ready". Most of the cheaper TV's have a built in tuner but that is strictly for over the air signals. If you have cable at home you can easily attach the cable directly to the TV bypassing any kind of cable box, then adjust any settings like "signal input", run a scan for...

Propane on during driving. Do you do it?

This. Very important. I have always used the propane to power the fridge while driving and so did my dad. We always stop before getting close to the pumps and shut off the fridge. Then stop at the next rest area to turn it back on. You never know where the gas fumes from fueling will settle, if...

How do I get the tv channels?

This is exactly what will happen if your TV doesn't have a QAM tuner built in. Some of the newer flat panel TV's are not cable ready. The built in HD tuner the manufacturers say their TV's have are for over the air, or antenna, signals. That tuner will not decode cable signals. I have one of...

How do I get the tv channels?

Your TV may not have a built in QAM tuner needed to receive cable signals. A built in tuner for over the air signals will not decode cable signals. You may need to get one of the cable boxes from the Meadows Trading post.

Disappointing experience with modifying a Resort Reservation at FW

Disney also created the book long stays and cancel unwanted days later problem out of sheer greed. They are the ones that set up their computer system to hold days for longer reservations. If I want to book 3 days and it tells me nothing is available for those dates but if I include those dates...

    Bus conversion

I think the issue with campgrounds is the same as with insurance companies. Buses being cobbed together by amateurs and being a safety hazard. Also those same buses usually "look" like cheaply converted school buses and a lot of privately owned campgrounds are worried about their image.

    Bus conversion

There is a website out there dedicated to this particular topic. I check it regularly just because I like to see peoples creativity and what they can accomplish. It is my understanding that it is becoming more and more difficult to get them insured. Each state is different as to what is required...
