Found the contract the owners accepted 7 days ago and have yet to sign on another resale website. Pretty messed up, thinking of backing out and going for a different contract.

It may just be listed because its not a done deal yet. I wouldn’t back out if you like the deal.

They are super backed up now (Hawaii first american). I had 2 contracts pass ROFR 2/9 - my SSR closed last Friday, my Aulani I haven't even received the closing docs yet and it will be 3 weeks tomorrow. When I sent an inquiry, they told me Hawaii just takes longer... but I had an aulani pass ROFR 1/25 and https://www.trcsinc.com/ was the title company and I had docs in a week, closed a week later, and had my contract show up 2/21 and called to get the points loaded that day. So it's definitely a first american delay as I didn't see it with my other aulani
Thanks for the info. Mine passed ROFR 1 week ago. I figure I will reach out to the broker in about a week for an update on closing docs. Thankfully, I have a couple months before I want to use these points.

Who did you call to get the points loaded that fast? Member services?

Who did you call to get the points loaded that fast? Member services?
In the past, I've called member services and said I've wanted to book a vacation at my home resort that's coming up on my 7 month window and want to book before the dates get taken. It happened to be the truth, as often is in these cases. I had the points show up that day.

Yes, member services - I had a reservation in 31 days from that date made with current year points and the new contract had banked points I wanted used instead so they loaded them for me and swapped the banked points from the new contract into my reservation as well. I usually just wait bit in this case I needed them quickly

$106-$14500-130-OKW(E)-Feb-0/22, 130/23, 130/24, 130/25- sent 3/1

Excited to see what happens!
I am also waiting on OKW. Contract expiring in 2042 so eager to see if it goes through.
sent 02/20 people seem to be finding out within 12 days in cases so we will see. Good luck to you!

Wow! Prices are almost back to where they were April 2020. I have enough points but will continue to watch & see where they continue to go!!! Congrats to everyone passing so quickly. DVD obviously has been told not to ROFR anything - Definitely becoming a buyer's market!

A contract I was watching for VGC had an offer accepted. I hope it was someone here so I can see what they got it for!

Thank you for asking so I didn't have to LOL! I'm totally new to this and not sure of the "rules and etiquette"
It's just like someone selling anything else, sitting on it doesn't make them money, so the time may soften what they would take. You can offer as many times as you would like, and honestly they'll probably not remember who offered what after a month.

There's more contracts on the market than I think there ever has been before so not sure why you would hound the same seller though...

I have only been watching for about a month so not sure what's considered a lot of contracts. But for where I'm looking (VGC) I don't feel like there are tons for each UY. But now you have me wondering about what it normally looks like.
