Anyone watching A Very Brady Renovation?

Thanks for the reminder I set a recording. I missed the first airing I'm guessing, so will record it at 9pm, because that is bed time. 😴

I’ve seen a few commercials and it looks really dumb so that’s a big no for me. It’s cold, windy, and rainy here so I’m tucking into Black Mirror

Here are the Brady Kids’ ages in 2019:

Barry Williams (Greg) 65
Maureen McCormick (Marcia) 63
Christopher Knight (Peter) 62
Eve Plumb (Jan) 61
Mike Lookinland (Bobby) 59
Susan Olsen (Cindy) 58

I love the Brady Bunch but I’m not watching the renovation show. I’ll stick with my 1969-1974 memories.

Speaking of the Brady Bunch, I was thinking about this yesterday. I can recall almost every episode of TBB. I am a little after it's first run, but we watched it everyday after school, in the 5-6pm time frame, syndicated. I don't ever recall seeing a Christmas tree in that house, or a Christmas episode. I do know they made a special movie for TV called a Very Brady Christmas, but the original show, was there ever a Christmas episode? You would think with all those kids, Christmas would have been a huge deal in that house.

Well, they could be grandparents now! The show was created almost fifty years ago (1974)! :lmao:Time goes by fast!
Well, no, actually it was 50 years ago. Brady Bunch first aired in 1969 so it may have been created even before - that possibly the same year, possibly earlier

We PVRed it but haven't watched it yet.
Tonight is the finale of Amazing Race Canada plus have to go vote as it's a provincial election so doubt we will get to it tonight.
I did already see the big reveal as there was a video going around a few months ago.

I watched it and thought it was good! I am not a huge HGTV watcher, but I do enjoy before and afters. And, I LOVED the Brady Bunch.

Same here. Big fan of the show growing up. I’m only slightly younger than Bobby and Cindy and am one of six siblings, so I can relate to the family and the times. Always thought their house was so cool.

They did a great job, the attention to detail is amazing. So nice that all the kids participated. They all look good to me (though IMO, Maureen and Chris have aged the best). Can only imagine how they must feel. I wonder what’s gonna happen with the house when it’s done?

Yup the episode where Carol was supposed to sing a solo in church and got laryngitis.

And Cindy visits Santa and tells him all she wants is to have her mom’s voice back. :cutie:

In that episode, they had a Christmas tree in the dining room, next to the staircase, in the corner (where the curio and horse statue were).

There was also a Thanksgiving episode where they do a play about the pilgrims in the backyard, and one of the kids (Greg, I think) films it for a school project.

LOL, I remember way too much.

Kinda , sorta, it was when Carol couldn't speak and it was Christmas and she was to sing in church. And Cindy said santa would heal her to sing.
