MyDisneyExperience Website Completely Updated

I miss the daily calendar version. other than that the changes seem positive so far as far as ease of use.
 
All seems to work fine this morning, app and laptop. Fingers crossed, will continue!
Read something on the board, that there is the ability in the newly designed MDE to check DME in the app?:confused: Thought I read something on the boards quickly, that Disney Magical Express can be accessed by "Change my Reservations" or something like that.:confused: If that is the case, imo, doesn't make sense. With all the problems on the site, I would be reluctant to even click on "change my reservations"? Would make more sense if DME information is more "user friendly" and not hidden in some obscure place:scared1:. Perhaps I am missing it or not seeing it on the newly designed MDE.

if you have booked DME you should also see it in your online check in page. Your flight details are not displayed (never were) but is does show that you have DME booked.

I posted a picture of what you should see a few pages back, sometime Mon afternoon when I found it.

Clicking Change Reservations won't hurt your reservation unless you confirm a change you don't want to make. You can use the Change Reservation page to provide your flight info, if you wanted to or needed to but that's only if you want to. There are many other ways to do it too. The screen you get with the Change Reservation option is a short form though, since it already knows who you are and your resort info. You have to fill it all out on the other pages.
It's also visible on the Online Check in screen
But it's not a change from the website design. The ME status has always been on those 2 pages.
 


I just checked the site and they say my wife has no ticket added. BUT yet the notifications says I added 2 tickets , 1 for Mary and 1 for me. It also shows she has her FP's. HOW if she has no ticket added?
When I look at the FP's they all say booked for 2 guests.

When I look a t family and friends my wife needs to be invited again but all my other family are fine???? What happened?
Also only my icon picture is still showing but all my family just have the Mickey where did there choices go?? How do I do them again?

My MDE app is crashing like crazy and suuuuuuper slow when it does open. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled a few times. I did not have this problem woth the previous version. I’m on a iPhone 6.

Any advice?

From all the reports I'm reading there have been issues with invited/linked accounts. If it says you can invite her, try. I intentionally have no invited members so I don't have any problems in that area

All avatars disappeared, other than account holders. You do the avatars the same way you did them the first time. On the friends and family page, using update
 


Desperately hoping we have some tech savy people on the boards !!! Can't get MDE to load my plans - only on my IPad - works on my IPod - I have tried logging in and out - cleared all cookies/cache- using Google chrome- plans start to load, but then stops and site keeps going back to the homepage - I've tried everything - anyone else have this problem and/or know a cure? TIA !

What version iOS are y'all running? I'm running 12 and it opens.
Best other advice, just don't use the app in the meantime. Use your web browser.

I hardly ever use the app - I've been using the web browser - the "old" site worked fine on all of my devices - now, the updated MDE only loads on my iPod - (version 10.3)

Won't load on iPod - ( web page keeps going back to the homepage) - but just checked, and only on version 9.3 -
Installing an update now - maybe that will do it ?
 
Well yesterday was our 60 day mark for our December trip and yes the website looked different. However performance when it came to booking FP+ was the same. It took us an hour and I got FOP at 60 + 5 right off the bat, it fell apart after that. Interestingly enough we wound up booking nearly all of the FP+'s on the app on our I-Phones. That was the one that worked the best between our laptop, I-Pad, and I-Phones.

Also we have my daughter and our son and daughter in law linked to our account and have always been able to see their information about resort reservations but yesterday when going through the process couls no longer see that. We could see their FP+'s for their 10/20 trip but nothing else.

While the front end looked different the system still performed the same (really bad) so hopefully they fix the behind the scene stuff as well as the front end. I have to admit that for all the issues it has had on our trip 9/21 till 9/29 it never dropped a FP+ or a dinning reservation on us and all our MB's (including newly purchased ones) worked fine, got us in the parks, on the rides, opened our room door and worked for charging things. We had added them before we left home and they all worked great including the added graphics. MNSSHP bands we bought last year lighted up orange and you could hear the hoof beats of the headless horseman, and our F&W ones lite up multiple colors and you could hear a champagne cork popping. Got a lot of comments from CM's who had never seen them work.

When I went back to the home profile page, it had my name "XXXX' plan's" but it was the itinerary of a large family that is completely unknown to me. I was able to see their resort reservations, dining reservations, fast passes, confirmation numbers, the amount left to pay, etc. I'm completely unsettled. If I was taken to this family's MDE account, that most certainly means that someone can have access to mine. I signed out and logged back in and its back to my profile with my information. This is major. My mind is spinning at the moment... I need to report this to Disney IT, does anyone know what their email address is?

I didn't record anything from the other family's information, I was so stunned quite frankly, I just went down their profile page, I couldn't believe my eyes. I just signed out and signed back in. I can tell the IT department exactly what I did so they can log the glitch.

I've got an iphone 6s running ios 11. My MDE app works but it became an unruly beast around version 4.14. Version 4.15 (I believe the latest) didn't help much. I recently was able to get my $30 battery replacement from Apple based on the processor slowdown fiasco they got busted for. The new battery did help quite a bit with the MDE app as I think this app is just a huge drain on the processor which really affects the older batteries. IOS 12 is supposed to be focused on being more efficient with the resource/processor issues from ios 11 so an upgrade to 12 could help. I usually wait til Apple gets through a major x.1 or so ios update to work out the bugs before I update though.
 
When the change over first happened none of my precious fast passes were listed on the website, but were on the app. That self corrected. However, I now only have access to choosing my own magic band, all of my family members are gone from that. But a minor problem I hope to fix with a phone call. My best friend had a much more significant issue. They are going at the same time as us and she magically disappeared from MDE and all of the reservations and fast passes. Some fast passes she came up simply as Guest 4, others were simply for 3 people. She called Disney and spent a couple hours on the phone with them. In the end they had to essentially add her back to the account, but couldn't get her back on the fast passes (I don't understand this, but whatever). So they gave her some any experience fast passes to use when her family goes on the ones that only show 3 people. For all the ones that list "Guest 4" she needs to show the CM at the FP line her MDE and explain that she is guest 4, then hope they understand that and let her on anyway. This was apparently the best solution IT could come up with.

I was one of the people impacted by the major issues they had a couple weeks ago (it began literally on my 60 day mark, wasn't able to pick fast passes for 3 days, no Slinky, FOP or even Mine Train for the duration of our 8 day vacation. Very sad. lol) so I admit I have a very short fuse with regards to MDE and am possibly not trying as hard as I should to figure this out but I went through the thread and didn't see my specific issue so:

My problem is that my tickets now do show up for both me and my sister and are assigned to each of us, however, when I go to modify some (not all for some reason) fast passes it advises me that I do not have any ticket assigned to me and therefore cannot change the fast pass. I'm certainly confused because I did eventually get to make proper fast passes after the initial issues. I just want to change the times of a few of them.

I do have my sister in my friends and family listing. I sent her an invite and I don't believe she accepted it (I didn't get any notice) but I am unable to remove her from the list as it says she has "active plans" and I can't delete her without getting rid of them which I really don't want to mess with.

EDIT: Okay so now on the FastPass calendar it only lets me click the Thursday and Friday of my vacation. I am staying at All-Star Sports (Nov 10-18) but it only lets me select Thursday Nov. 15 and Friday Nov. 16. Really weird.

EDIT 2: AND we're back to being able to select whatever day I want but still getting the "no ticket assigned" error. I'm going to give this a couple days I think.

Have you tried to rescind the invitation or have her accept it? This solved some others’ problems up thread.
