“Official” 2018 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party – Strategy and Itinerary Thread

I have a question about the bypass. I have not yet created my itinerary, but we plan to be at MK near 2:00 on our party day. I recall hearing on the Dis podcast that last year in the bypass they handed out a bag with special treats that wasn't available elsewhere in the park. If this is true, how do we go about going through this bypass if we're already in the park?

You just walk towards the front entrance and stay on the left side. Signs will be posted and you'll see crowds exiting the bypass. Cannot miss it. I'll post a photo soon!

The Main Street Bypass - Open when the party starts, typically at 4pm.

Magic Kingdom will often open up an alternate path located behind the shops on the right-hand side of Main Street (as you face Cinderella Castle) known as the Bypass.

During MNSSHP CM's will direct you towards the bypass, some will hold signs others like last year will be yelling, yep, this was reported last year! :laughing:

There will be various stations set up including: Party wristbands, treat bags (regular and Teal), photo ops and party merchandise. IIRC, for the past two or three years you were also given your first treats in a plastic bag. These treats have changed over the years. TIP: Ask the CM if you can have TWO!

It was reported that two photo props were available: Halloween Picture Frame and the MNSSHP Bulb which can bee seen on: Post #216 by our very own lovely @Cluelyss & family!!!

Thank you! I do have follow up question. Do we then enter through the exit or keep following signs to find the entrance? Or, do we enter through the exit to get to the entrance?:confused3 As you can tell, I'm very confused...

Last year we got our wristbands by philharmagic and they gave us the special treat bag there.

It's a game at MK, you're given a pack of cards for free, one per day. Then you take the cards and hold them to specific locations where magic happens, spells are cast and you defend an evil source.

During MNSSHP & MVMCP you're given one exclusive card. These are quite valuable monetarily and can be found on Ebay. Make sure you pick yours up. I added a link on: Post #4.

Is it something Adults can do with no kids or would you look pretty foolish? And where do you pick up the set of cards during regular hours?

Game on! My husband LOVES this game and you'll see a lot of adults playing too. Notice the warning on that post, I'm actually referring to adults and not children. I have yet to see someone post such a thing about a child ;)

Just for clarification you're referring to the packed goodies or the special Teal treat bag? I think you mean the goodies but want to make sure. Thanks!

We do it with no kids! We aren’t very good at it but we have fun lol. You pick up the cards at the firehouse

Yes the goodies! Not sure if you could get the teal treat bag there also, never tried !
