Fingers crossed. My husband wont be happy if it's packed. We went on 10/11 last year (I forgot that some people may celebrate Columbus Day) and it was so crowded.

I went during the same time and it was INSANE. We were still able to get a lot done with Maxpass, but my husband wasn't too thrilled either.

I remember your username from the Oct 2017 group! We had such a great time at the MHP with walking on rides that we just did minor things on Wednesday thankfully lol We are planning on maxpass this time.

My daughter and I are taking a girls trip with just the 2 of us April 6-9. . I have a business meeting in Costa Mesa on Monday so we thought we would make a nice weekend out of it to celebrate her 20th birthday. The last trip we went on was the whole family of 7 so thinking this will be a much easier feat to manage the left over Easter crowds. We will be staying at the Ramada on Friday the 6th and then moving over to the Costa Mesa Hilton on Saturday even though that means a longer Uber trip back to the park on Sunday. She has an annual pass that is blocked on Saturday so we were thinking about getting some beach time. Any suggestions for an easy beach to get to?

Well, my husband and I were going to be going to Dapper Days, but realized my daughter is in a Shakespeare performance that weekend. So we just rescheduled to the weekend earlier. We'll now be in the parks Sat 4/14. I hope it won't be crazy busy with the start of Pixar Fest. I'm bummed to miss Dapper Days. I've put the outfit I was working on away in the closet to hopefully use next year.
But I'm still so excited for our little trip!

Yes! I ordered a dress from amazon, and received it today. It fits perfect, and it’s exactly what I was hoping for. It’s light blue and I can’t decide if I want to do a Cinderella theme or Wendy! We are so excited

Oh that's great! I had thought about doing Cinderella or Tink, but I'm really loving all things tropical right now so the tiki theme won. I'm stuck on shoes right now since I don't want to spend too much money but still want comfort. I'm hitting some thrift and consignment stores this weekend so hope to find some!

We leave a week from Monday for April 10-11th in the parks! I'm tying to wrap my mind around it coming up so fast

We've started packing a bit. I have an ear shop on Etsy and will be doing some in-park giveaways so I'm trying to figure out how to get all the ears packed along with the outfit changes! Really looking forward to some sunny CA weather (I'm over the rainy Seattle winter!) and checking out Food and Wine for the first time! Anyone else in the parks those two days?

I can't believe it's almost April! Hubby got official word last week that he can join us in DL (he can only ask for holidays 30 days out - argh!). So I guess we feel like we can really start talking about the trip. I ordered our passes from LMT and they are loaded into the app. Come on April 21st!

Hubby's birthday is the 26th. We are going to go to DL that morning so he can be in the park on his birthday. I booked a breakfast at Carnation Café (our BIL in immunocompromised so no character buffets this trip). His flight out is at 3:30pm, so he will be out of the park by noon, enroute to LAX. Any birthday suggestions? Small things? I just want it to be special since the poor guy has to leave us in CA to go home and back to work for Friday - long flight to Boston for the birthday boy.

Less than a month to go for us now. Well, actually 20 days -- but who's counting?

I am so antsy! I can't wait to walk up to those gates and hear, smell, see all the sights. I was just talking to DH yesterday about how I love the smells of Disney... particularly Pirates. I am so grateful it'll still be open when we go!

We will be there the last week of April also. It's NH's school vacation week (although I doubt NH affects DL attendance that much). I've been stalking the DL calendar and am thrilled that Matterhorn isn't staying down for refurb! I need to find a way to get to DL Sunday night to see Pirates before that closes though.

I'm in NH too! My daughter and I are taking a girls' trip for the first time - I feel the same about Matterhorn! Bad enough that CS and WoC aren't happening for our time there.

We'll be there in a month! First time at DLR. Arrive Friday the 27th, leave Sunday the 29th. Hopefully we'll be able to knock out quite a bit. We're early risers so not too worried.

We're getting a refund because it's just cast member previews the weekend we're there. Not gonna lie, we're a little bummed. We've seen Paint the Night but thought this would be a fun addition. Guess not!

Oh that IS disappointing! Sorry about that...I think I would have asked for some kind of special/FP seating! Kidding...not kidding

We will be there two weeks from today. I am excited about taking our boys for the first time. I have also realized that on the quick trip DH and I took, we missed a lot of things - some by choice. But I am looking forward to hopefully seeing much more! I even bought a book The Disneyland Encyclopedia, or something like that, so I can be on the lookout for little details and know more of the history of DL. We’ll be on a 14-hour flight - twice - before we get to DLR, so I should have some time to look it over!

My biggest struggle has been between my desire to book the WoC dessert party and my distaste for paying the whopping price tag for the five of us...almost $400! If it were just DH and I, it’s a no-brainer. So, for now, I’m telling myself to be content with “just” the reserved viewing area.
