Magic coming out of dry dock

I’m not sure I love this. I really liked Tangled on the Magic (LOVED the lanterns), but I wouldn’t want to eat here on the Tangled show night and if I ate here on a different night after Tangled show night, it would seem a bit repetitive and (dare I say) overkill. On a different ship, it would be special.

We were on the Magic 3/9-3/14 and we thought Rapunzel's Royal Table was amazing. Disney outdid itself on this one. The atmosphere, decor, entertainment and menu were so well done. We were hoping to dine there on Tangled night but unfortunately we were LARLA which also meant we were only there for one night.

Glad to see this got back to being a "what changed on the Magic after dry dock" thread instead of a "gripe about concierge" thread...

it's not a gripe about concierge, it's a gripe about the loss of a very nice adult space..

i was indeed referring to the Magic...
apparently the configuration is now the same on the magic...maybe someone can post pictures of how it appears right now?
on the DCL website, it shows the concierge lounge and outdoor space to be identical on both ships..
pictures - recent, post dry dock pictures, would be helpful..

However, since DCL tend to mimic concepts regarding spaces from one sister ship to another, I believe that we can speculate regarding "public spaces" being/eventually being modified in favor of the concierge guests on the Magic based on the fact that "public spaces" on the Wonder have been modified to profit the concierge guests.

No change on the Magic, since the area on deck 10 of the Magic was already Concierge only. There was no Outlook on the Magic, only on the Wonder. Now both ships have the same arrangement of this area.

Yes 14-17. It is a very adult looking space, I don't know what it looked like before though, my daughter is only 12.

Yes. I would assume so because the other night(s) you are there would be a different theme than the rotational theme.

Yes then when you put in only from the last week (which is about how long I think that ship has been done) you don’t find what I anticipate is the actual Magic vibe, looking at the size of the room in some of those pictures, it’s not the Magic stacks, way too big.

. If I'm being honest, there was a lot going on there, and it was a bit overwhelming trying to watch the festivities and order food. Rapunzel went around most of the tables, but Flynn he had go back to the stage right before he got to our table. The decor was incredible and I loved the thugs. Clap clap stomp stomp quack quack huah! There were musicians on stage and walking around too.

It was nice to enjoy the decor without the show the second night we were there which was Til We Meet Again menu. Plus we had breakfast there before leaving the ship. Not sure if it was new but there is Rapunzel related artwork across from the aft elevators outside the restaurant.

I posted in response to someone saying that they did not know what the vibe originally looked like. There are plenty of photos of the Vibe before it's update. There are Vibe photos from all of the ships, but many are labeled with what ship they are. The really modern ones are the Dream and Fantasy. The other ones are Magic or Dream. You can still get an idea what they started with.

I can verify that is definitely the shape of the Wonder’s Vibe room. I’m unaware but believe the Magic has the same shape. Where the continents are now on the brick wall, used to be a odd shaped room for watching movies. And the light source comes from what I expect to be the former/still (bar)smoothie area.
The place looks a little waiting room/office like. But I can see the furniture can be easily moved and that would be helpful for big groups. They had a cage above the room that Beach balls had been get stuck in. I can’t tell if that’s still there or not.
