*December 2012 Roll Call* Group TR! A very, merry thread!

I'm glad to see that this thread is moving along again. And I swear, once I get my PP CD, my TR will be forth coming.

But I wanted to share a story with you that I posted on my Boston Bruins thread. You can skip the 1st part if you want. It is a review of the B's/Flyers game from Saturday (B's won 3-0 by the way). But the second part has to do with events that happened before and after the game. It demonstrates the goodness of strangers; and how a dark moment cannot put a blemish of how fortunate we are and can be.

We're 90 days away from out next trip! We're using Dave's vacation club and have a 2bdrm villa at OKW reserved for the week! I'm so stinkin' excited. I've read some great things about this resort and of course, just the mere fact that we're heading back AGAIN six months from our last trip is AWESOME!

Have to say though, the June 2013 thread group isn't NEAR as funny or welcoming as our December family was... kinda sad actually but just goes to show how different people can be...

Hope everyone's doing well and wrapping up those reports

Hello everyone! I've been so caught up in every day life.....I've missed our group terribly! I really will get a TR done one of these days! We just got new bedroom furniture so we went through a major room overhaul and receipts/disney momentos/pictures have been put aside for the time being.

One of my dear high school friends just called me last night because she had a business trip to Orlando and left this morning....she wanted to know a good place to eat dinner at MK on tuesday evening and of course I checked online and there are NO openings at Be Our Guest. lol! Her company (she works for Purina) is putting her up at the Grand Floridian for the next two nights and she'll be at MK on tuesday after her convention presentation. I wish I could have hidden in her suitcase!

No worries. With all the work you did before the trips, dealing with our shennanigans and what not, you deserve a little respite. And I've been slacking in my TR duties as well. But I just got in my PP+ CD yesterday. And as soon as BDLsgal can put them on her Shutterfly, it will get done.

1. May - My good friend has not been to WDW since she was a little girl. So we are taking my toddler and going for 3 days. The trip is 98% a go, though there is a chance she might have to cancel due to work. We are booked at POP. Will get to enjoy the end of Flower festival so that's a nice bonus. Although I love Star Wars, I will skip DHS this trip.

2. October - Still planning this trip. We are renting DVC points, so I won't know till Saturday what resort we get. Crossing my fingers for BLT. We shall see!

Which 2014 thread? I've been in Disneyland mode since we're planning a Dec 2013 trip to the west coast....but it's never too early to start thinking about 2014

Hmmmmm we did love December! But dh is sadly under the impression that we just can't go every year, that it would have to be a special occasion. :::rolls eyes::: so this coming December 2013 we are going to Disneyland (because it's different and his sister lives close). Also, neither one of us has ever been to DL. I thought about planning an October 2014 trip to WDW because we've never gone to MNSSHP and that would be "special". I could pretend to plan an October trip then change it under the guise that "we both loved christmas time" and why mess with a good thing, lol.......the new coaster/7 Dwarfs Mine ride opens in late 2014, doesn't it? I wonder when they will add on to the Harry Potter area at IOA?

Not sure when Gringotts ride is set to open. But we're definitely looking forward to going to do HP. Probably Oct 2014 now that our 2013 trip is off. December was fun but Oct is our favorite time.

Hi everyone! I'm sorry I've been missing for the last few months. We had an amazing Christmas trip at AoA LM section with FD for two weeks. It was honestly magical. We came back home to life on our tiny rock. I was planning vacations (not Disney though) and all of a sudden, I found out I was pregnant. It came as a complete surprise to us, but we were thrilled. Of course, my vacation plans had to be cancelled (last I checked having a baby isn't cheap!) and we started planning on adding another baby to our family. I was beyond excited and then last week when I should have been 12 weeks pregnant, I lost the baby I ended up having a D&C done, the morning of my 35th Birthday. Now I am completely heartbroken

Well, now I am trying to recover emotionally and physically. I was so excited to spend this Christmas at home with a new baby. Now that all that has changed, I just can't see myself being home at Christmas. My sweet husband has agreed to go back to Disney for Christmas. Right now that is the only place on the planet that could put some happiness back into me

I'm sorry for the sad update, but I did want to check in with all of you again! Coming back to Disboards is helping me to at least take my mind off of things.

We hadn't told our family and friends yet, so noone knows about the loss either. If any of you also post on the fb page please don't mention anything about it there! Thanks!

Oh sweet heart. I'm so sorry. I know that even in a short time how it can impact you. I wish you strength and love! I'm sure even though we are a very quiet bunch now if you need anything we are here. And don't be sorry....

Hi, all. I, too, have been MIA since our trip. Our Disney vacation was nice in some respects, but a disappointment in others. Disney had no fault in that! Let's just say, next time DH and I are going alone! Even though the kids whined and grumbled most of the time, though, they want to know when we're going back.

Well...I am in Disney withdrawal (currently working on our scrapbook), and last week I started planning a trip for next year's spring break. After toying with the idea of DL, I got a big thumbs down from DH, and, surprisingly, from my friend who is a Disney TA! So we are about to book a 7 night cruise on the Fantasy for April 2014! This will be our first-ever cruise, and we are all excited! In true Disney-planning type-A mode, I have already researched the heck out of it.
