Hi! My husband and I will be in WDW July 7 - July 14 and Universal July 15 - July 17. This is my second trip and his third. My last trip was 12 years ago and his was almost 20 years ago! I'm so excited!

Wow, you're lucky! Our pin required a 5 night minimum. Guess I shouldn't complain.Gives me a good excuse to give to my DH to stay that long. I need to start thinking and planning our ADR's but since we plan on getting hoppers, we can be pretty flexible.
BTW, I see you are in VA. I'm in MD. Just one State away....VA has some beautiful places to visit. We love Williamsburg!
The PIN was stated as being a longer stay, but it worked when I tried the shorter stay. I'm definitely not complaining. While I'd love to stay longer, this short visit will be fun.
Our last WDW visit was a July visit, we've learned to take it easy. If it gets done or ridden it gets done or ridden, if not it will be there next time we go. It's too hot to rush!

That is the way we feel. July is more relaxed for us. When we go in the fall we expect to hit every ride and attraction, but in July you have to have a "go with the flow" mentality. The funny thing is, we usually end up doing everything anyway. The good thing is over the summer, we can do longer trips so in the end we get to do the same amount, we just take it slower and have more time to see everything.

How did I miss this thread??? 
We will be arriving at the Poly on 7/15 and will be there for 5 nights before moving over to the Beach Club for the next 5 nights (checking out on 7/25). This is the first time we have been at WDW in the summer in a loooong time, we usually chose cooler months but DH schedule didn't allow, so here we are!!! We wil be celebrating our 10 year anniversary (which is actually in June) and as an early present, DH just purchased AP's for our family!!!
So glad to join in this countdown! 110 days to go!!!

We are going to be there almost the same time as you. We get there the day after you. We originally planned to stay at the Poly too. I was disappointed that we had to switch, but we got to stay in Disney for 6 extra days so I guess I can't complain and we love AKL too so it all worked out. I will get back to the Poly one day though.

Anjalee - I have a question?? On July 18th, will you be at the Animal Kingdom Rainforest Cafe??? If so, my DD and I will stop by to say hello. We will be at Animal Kingdom that morning. Also - would you add us to July 19th The Plaza 12:00 Noon - We enjoy the Potato / Cheddar Soup and the Ruben Sandwich they offer.

Have you stayed at the Siver Lake Resort before? I was wondering as we are looking for something for Thanksgiving and it is available through my time share. Bonnett Creek is all booked at this time so we won't be able to stay there..

The discount is a public discount under the special offers section of the Disney website. It was for 15-25% off at select hotels for the travel dates of June 14- August 14th (I believe). Anyway, we saved 25% on our AKL trip in July.

As of the moment, yes, we are planning on eating that day in AK. I change my plans so much though that I never know what it will be by the time July rollls around.
I added you to the ADR list for the Plaza. We were going to eat there for the first time on the same day as you, but my son looked at the kids menu and said there was nothing he would eat. I kind of agree but wish he would try something new. In any case, we changed to Kona because I know he loves it there and so does my husband.

OK - just wanted ask, hope to meet up with a couple of Diser's again this year. Last year, we had a great time meeting 7 Diser's at the Dole stand at MK that we visited with on the Dis - Board... Have a great Easter Weekend..
