ok,i'm freaking out, i saw on m+m126's pj that your bouquet is $275 and you're using an outside florist??? what kind of flowers are you having? i think mine's going to be a fortune. i need my beo!!!!!!!!!

My bouquet thru Disney (not the outside vendor) was going to be $275 for a round french bouquet with blue and white flowers. That was for white roses, freesia, stephanotis, hydrangea, and blue delphinium. I would've paid that if I didnt have 4 bridesmaid bouquets, 4 corsages, 8 boutonnieres and an alter arrangement that they were also overcharging me for. With my outside vendor everything I just listed will be less than $600, including her travel charge to deliver to Disney. It saves me roughly $800. :woohoo:

do you know how many flowers were in the disney bouquet? i think i haev like 4-5 dozen roses...eeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkk!

Your invitations turned out beautifully! Isn't it such a relief to have them out of your control?? I was beaming when I took our's to the post office!

The pocketfolds are a pain in the rear to print and assemble, but I really think they are stunning when finished. I was extra cheap and didn't use their cutouts... I only bought the pocketolds & envelopes from them. I used 8.5x11 card stock to make our actual invite and inserts. That took a lot of trimming! Our relatives have been asking our parents if Disney made our invitations... since Disney is known for being expensive... that makes me happy! :rotfl:

I love your monogram too!

Good for you using an outside florist! In the end, our floral proposal from Disney is almost equivalent to our vendor. However, I think that our vendor will use a more quality product and not skimp on the flowers (again, we're an Intimate so who knows :confused3). Maybe that's mean, but it was a major fear of mine. Plus, since we are an Intimate, Disney was unwilling to setup our favors, placecards, etc. Our vendor is more than happy to do that for us.

just wanted to say that i LOVE that you are walking down the aisle to the wedding march from the sound of music! i watched that almost every day growing up, and to this day my mom wants me to use it when i get married!:goodvibes

keep us updated! sounds like you are doing great! :thumbsup2

i am so jealous of you for having your invitations done...i can't wait until i can post pics of mine like you did! can't wait to see your sandollars!!!!!!!!

i like those on the site...why don't you try antique shops as well? i've seen tons of them there, they always have them on display because pirates are so "in" right now...

Wow, your invites came out wonderful. How did you get that picture in of the WP in the back and then the wording on top? What program did you use. I love the pocket invitations I am just not sure if I can take all the extra time to print and assemble them.

We are getting married in Epcot in the Italy pavillion and I am not sure what picture I would use if I was to do something like this. I don't want the castle or the WP because they are not part of my wedding. Should I use Space Ship Earth (the big ball) or maybe the Italian Pavilion? For people that have not been to Disney, would they know what that is or would they think we are asking them to go to Italy for our wedding?

I also love the monogram you put on your stickers. Was that done on the Creative Board here?

Looking forward to reading more.

Thanks,
Linda

WOW Kristen! You did a great job on those invitations! :thumbsup2! I love the pocket invitations but I really don't think that I will have the patience to make all of them myself. I'm more of a pay someone else to do it kinda girl :). I might change my mind though because yours came out great!

On another note, you're using Peddles for just the bouquets right? We are also having our reception at LSS and I believe Disney doesn't allow outside vendors to come into the park. Which means I would have to use Disney Floral for my centerpieces. Does Peddles have a minimum? I'm considering purchasing the BM bouquets, boutonnieres (sp?), & rose petals (for the exit) from an outside vendor. How has your experience been with them so far?

TIA!:goodvibes

Did anybody use a Treasure Chest for a card holder or something? Where did you get it??

I like the one you found. We are getting a treasure chest for our cardbox. This way we get to keep it full of all the wedding keepsakes after the wedding. We haven't decided on one yet, but we're looking at the following sites:
http://www.woodchests.com/
http://app.infopia.com/Shop/Control/fp/cat/41833/SFV/30874
I tried pier 1, world market, etc but I didn't have any luck. Be sure to post the one you decide on.
