The Official DisDads Prayer and Praise Thread

Hey all - Sorry I have MIA for a few days. On Wednesday morning I was admitted into our ocal hospital. I have cellutlits in my left leg. It then cause the lymphnodes in the groin area to fight the infection from spreading. They did immediately rule out a blood clot. I am unsure how long I am going to be here. My leg is still very sore, red, and I am unable to put much pressure on it at all.

On top of that, last night, we had a terrible hailstorm in our area. Lots of friends and family had lost of damage to their homes and cars. My wife did call me and tell me that our kitchne window was leaking but she was unable to determine where it was coming from. Hopefully she will be able to figure it out this morning.

Thanks again!

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that Jason. I hope you're able to recover soon.

Sorry to hear this Jason. We're thinking about you - best wishes on a speedy recovery (and an easy, inexpensive fix for the window issue).

My uncle is still in hospital. They had to give him a pacemaker and he has pericarditis now.

Hello Everyone, haven't been on in awhile, things have been crazy. If you could all keep my daughter Emma in your prayers. She is one of the 18 month old twins and they have found several growths on her lymph nodes. We see a specialist on Monday. They do not believe that they are cancerous, but "think" that she is forming cysts on her lymph nodes for some reason. Thanks

Prayers to all those who posted.

To continue from the last thread, please offer prayers for my father. He is 79 years old and had his second (that we know of stroke) about two months ago. While it was a mild one and he has regained his speech, he now depends on his walker for mobility. He has also lost a great deal of weight. For a reference, he has used a cane for years, however, always refused to use a quad cane out of pride. When I went to visit him yesterday, he gave me his tennis racket and said that he did not think he would be able to play again. Now, because of his health, he hasn't played in over a decade. But, he always kept his racket because he said he was going to get stronger and play again. Thanks.
