Our Happily Ever After Begins at WDW... An August 2016 Disneymoon report! The Re-write!

I wanted to have lunch at Pecos Bill, since I knew DH would like the fixins bar. I got the fajitas, and asked them to make it with chicken instead of beef. It was no problem. DH got a beef burrito, which really just comes as a giant taco. They don't roll up the burrito, which it probably so you can add the topping from the fixins bar easily.
The food was just ok here. It wasn't inedible, but DH and I both agreed we wouldn't eat here again.

We headed to the castle to get a good viewing spot for Mickey's Friendship Faire, and caught the tail end of the parade.

We got a spot right in front of the castle for Mickey's Friendship Faire. DH had absolutely 0 interest in seeing the show, and I usually don't go out of my way to see the shows either, but I watched a video of this show online while trip planning, and thought it looked nice. The Frozen part made me tear up watching it online, so I really wanted to see it in person. I took a lot of photos here.

It was brutally hot, and we were right in the sun for this show. Partway through, neither of us felt too great. I promised DH I would leave as soon as I saw the Elsa part, and he could go wait for me indoors somewhere. He decided to wait with me, and we left as soon as I got to see Elsa. We headed towards Tomorrowland and got some water and rested a bit.

We figured we'd rest and take a ride on the Peoplemover. This was the first time in any WDW visit I have ever seen a line for it! And it was a long one! Luckily, it was fast moving because of how it loads.

I went back and forth about getting a personalized Magicband or phone case, but decided against it. They have some really cute ones!

We headed to The Polynesian for our 'Ohana ADR

I love the monorail so much. I just get such a Disney feeling when I'm on it.

We stopped for a drink at the Tambu Lounge. We had never tried the Lapu Lapu and wanted to try them.

Time for dinner!
The food was good. For me, 'Ohana has always been a must-do. DH doesn't like the food though, because he's not a fan of sweet sauces, which is pretty much on everything. So I told him we'd try a different restaurant next trip.

It had rained while we were at dinner. We had planned on going back to MK to stay until close, even though we had to be up at 3 the following morning for a 4:45 am ME pickup. We were both feeling tired, and I was feeling a little anxious, so we decided to go back to the resort to rest for a bit before heading back to the park.

I decided to pack while DH rested, and I could tell he was tired. We got into an argument (neither can recall what about), and he didn't want to go back to MK. I left to take pictures of the resort. Later that night I figured out the real root of the argument was DH was tired, and didn't feel like going back to the park, so he started an argument. This ensured he could sulk (lay in bed).


I went to explore the resort a bit
