Rope drop if you can or get in line when the park is closing. I know either of those options are really hard on a race weekend though.Oh, I know. I'm just trying to make myself feel better.

Park closing usually is 60 minutes or less which is way better than the typical 2+ hours.^I'll be running during rope drop. Might try to the "park closing" strategy, if I'm still upright.
Apparently a bride and groom went to the expo today to pick up their bibs...

I wasn't able to snag a FP for Flight of Passage, so I'm just gonna sit in the test seat for five minutes and sway back and forth while watching the movie on my phone.
Glad it went well! Thanks! We navigated quite well. We are at Boardwalk. Got the first bus. Got a pic with Captain Phasma, then said our goodbyes. She was done by six am. So proud. On to the half on Sunday!

That’s 2-3 weeks earlier. Interesting, I might do this weekend next year. From the travel package booth, SWDS dates for next year are April 4-7 2019, apologies if this was already posted

My daughter is expected to run the race in about two hours, ten minutes. When we registered her, we were way off with our completion time estimate. As a result, she’s in coral G. I’ve emailed Track Shack requesting a corral reassignment, but am not holding my breath.
Anyone have any pointers for dealing with a late corral? How does she get ahead of the crowd? She’s looking to run a fast race, hoping for an age group award.
I was in D I pretty much ran/jogged the first mile but as soon as I hit the countries everyone was just casually walking and taking topiary selfies and only seemed to speed up at photopass stops....Just spoke to some 5k participants at breakfast. They said it was a good race but they did a lot of weaving around walkers who were in earlier corrals..
Probably to not be on the same weekend as Boston maybe.Easter is the 21st next year, so they'd have to move it.
Two weeks earlier instead of a week earlier is interesting, though...

It seems to depend on the item. The red long sleeve hoodie thing seemed to be a little on the smaller size, whereas the t-shirt next to it looked small. I bought a large for me in both--I'm usually medium--and the hoodie fit (not loose) and the shirt is maybe a tad big (but the medium probably would have been too tight). I'd advise to wear something that it's easy to try on. My daughter is slightly smaller than me (she's a 6, I'm a 6-8) and she ended up with a medium shirt and a large hoodie thing. As in, they run small? Or run large?
No marathon weekend Magicbands this time.
This ends the day before my cruise to Cuba. It works out great! I am very very bummed that there were no race weekend jackets, unless I missed themFrom the travel package booth, SWDS dates for next year are April 4-7 2019, apologies if this was already posted
