Mouths Agape,eyes Full Of Glow The Spongie Family Is Ready To Go! Update Last Day

Let's just say that i should have yelled at my MIL way early on in the trip because the last night was a wonderful dream (well that is how it felt to me ) because i swallowed my estrogen pill and my head hit the pillow and i woke up to my DH telling me that i needed to get up for the breakfast

He had Jayedyn's Hair curled and she was just waiting to put on her dress . She looked like a true Princess.

I did not get all dressed up i threw on my Princess shirt a pair of capri's and my pirate hat, because like a dork i had packed all our stuff away( Because right after the Breakfast we were on our way back Home .)

Lonnie drove us over and dropped us off, We exited the car and were immediately escorted like royalty to the tram,

They asked what DD's name was and immediately started to call Her "Royal Princess Jayedyn"

We arrived at the Gates of DCA and were escorted once again through with a few Twirls , comments about her dress(which makes this mommy very happy) and smiles .

There were signs leading us to where we needed to go so we started on our way

The park was so quiet, and only a few people

they were doing all kinds of test runs which was pretty cool to see,

I had my camcorder today so i was recording and snapping pictures as we walked along

As we walked Every Cm that passed us asked Jayedyn's name and then Bowed .

Jayedyn Got into character and courtesied and waved her hand like royalty she then proceeded to say "Have a Royal Day" !
which made me laugh but one look from her made me stop .. i thought i was about to be Be-headed and then she cracked a smile and laughed.

We made our way to Ariel's grotto and waited outside till it was our turn to walk in, The view was breathtaking

we had a very short wait to see Ariel.

While in line she was asked about her dress and where she bought it and she just smiled huge and Replied My MOM made it for me " We made our way over to the banister and could see Her at the bottom. She was beautiful.... Finally it was our turn She signed mine and Jayedyn's Autograph book

and then they talked about her dress and some more photos were snapped and of course the Photo pass pics.

We made our way into the resteraunt and to our table

It was a very cute lil' place there were JellyFish lights Hanging from the ceiling and seaweed draped everywhere

Jayedyn sat down and began to construct her crown she had a sheet of stickers and could make it how she wanted...

Our waiter came out and told us how the morning would go and what was for breakfast .

1st course was meats and cheese and of course Croissants, jelly and fruit.

The meat was salamie that was made to look like a Rose ..

Jayedyn immediately dove into the fruit and i had a croissant and some jelly Because i could not eat the fruit because I am allergic but i don't think Jayedyn would have let me anyway.

Our main meal arrived and it was an american Breakfast style scrambled eggs , Potatoes and something else ?????

5 Mins later a royal trumpet was blown annoucing the arrival of the 1st Princess...

It was Cinderella she made her way over to the table and i thought Jayedyn would burst with excitement she signed our autograph books and then after some talk about Jayedyn's hair and dress they posed for some pictures and she made her way to the next table .

After another five mins the same thing happened and it was Princess 2
Belle
she as expected was beautiful and so sweet
she signed autograph books and posed for pictures and talked to her for 5 mins about the same things

Then it was Announced that the 3rd princess was
Snow White
(now i have to admit i was not a huge fan of her but after this meeting i have a change of heart

She walked ever so sweetley to our table and placed a hand on Jayedyn's shoulder They talked for 5 mins and She was amazing (i was in love with that perfect Princess Hand gesture )
Autographs signed pictures snapped

The next trumpet was for the princess..????

Wow
to our suprise it was for the One and Only
Fairy Godmother,
Jayedyn was a lil' sad because she really wanted to meet Aurora but after she was at our table she was fine .

Fairy Godmother came to our table and Jayedyn asked her for her autograph and she was a lil' shocked That she wanted it. She replied i am not a princess and Jayedn say's if it weren't for the godmothers looking out for them there would be no princesses. Fairy Godmother looked up from signing the books and smiled at her she asked her about her dress (which was a Huge Hit ) and then she told me that i could help Sew for Cinderella and the Princesses.
I laughed and said no i 'm not that good yet ...

She gave me a huge hug and then she posed for pictures

After breakfast was over we sat and talked for a bit (at this point Jayedyn did not have any clue that this was our last day ) i did not want her upset at her princess breakfast

We decided that we would go to the ladies room and make our way out to get our souvenir pin at the nearest pin place

I could not resist taking a photo of Jayedyn walking up the stairs holding her dress out like a true princess as the Cm's Bowed

Jayedyn choose her pin,

By this time the park was full of people

and we wanted to hit Soarin" we made our way up there just to find that there was a HUGGGE line and no Fast passes for us ...

I called Lonnie to find out where he was and to meet us out in the parking area .

I tried to convince Jayedyn to hit the Tower of Terror with me one more time and she still refused.

A couple of people stopped us to ask What shop we had purchased her dress ?

The more this had happened the Prouder i got saying i made it ...

We rode the tram and i started to cry because i knew that it was my last day and i just did not want to go back to the real world of housework, homework , and anything non-disney

Jayedyn had to do some twhirlin as we approached dad and Grandma and she had a huge smile on her face

i looked at DH and said you are telling her not me
He told her and she grabbed the nearest pole and began pouting and saying no,

She did not cry, DH handed her a change of clothes but she wanted to wear her dress still.

Goodbye's with the boys and grandma had been done this morning at Breakfast so me and Jayedyn said ours and loaded in the van and as we drove away we all said Goodbye to DisneyLand and headed on home .

We had made plans to stay over in Las Vegas but ended up Cancelling our reservation We hit the Disney Outlet store (like we needed anything else ) grabbed lunch and made it Home safely before Midnight .
I was excited to be at home and excited to pick up My Daizie Dog the next day ...

I am so glad that i was able to experience Disney Magic with My Family

His MIL not as much but overall it was a blast because i was with my DH and my kids ...

Now we are saving up for our vacation To Disney World in 2009 ....

spongie that was a GREAT first TR...now you are an official member of the "been there done that TR writer" i thought you would never get finished with it though...i remember all the days you would come on saying i cant stay long I have to get back to the kids costumes...you did an AWESOME job...and see even the big bad MIL got sprinkled with a little magic

Great job Misty! Love that Jayedyn! The pictures of her with the princesses were so cute! And be glad you missed the Aurora at Ariel's Grotto--the one we saw there was the most horrid princess I'd ever met. No little kid should have to deal with that! And how sweet that Lonnie did her hair! My DH can't even get a comb through my Jayden's hair (I nearly had to cut it once when I got home from the hospital after having Luke) I love your trip. It was very magical, despite the MIL! So Disneyworld in 2009? Does this mean no UEA Disneyland trip with us in the fall?

I love all the photos with the princesses, but my favorites are the ones of her twirling after having such a lovely time at breakfast.

Until you made me cry... umm... I mean Jayedyn cry... when you said it was time to go home.

What a great TR!! I loved being able to share in all your Disneyland 1st adventures!! You are a trooper & deserve one serious reward for all you endure from MIL. She truly came thru in the end with the breakfast for you & Jayden!

I loved all the Princess pictures & my inner 7 year old was equally as giddy for your fun morning.

Jayden's response to Fairy Godmother (about if it wasn't for Godmother there would be no Princesses)was priceless, it made me all teary eyed!!! That is proof positive that you are raising good kids with a great perspective/respect for life!! Way to go & Mommy of the Year award to you Misty!

Misty - that installment was great. The expression on your daughter's face when she meet Cinderella, priceless. I was tearing up threw the whole thing. And the way she was bowing to everyone and waving, that must have been awesome. I can't wait until my little princess gets to meet her princesses too. We're going to WDW in 2009 too, in November. Spongie - I absolutely loved your trip report. Being a newb and planning our first trip your pictures were awesome. Sorry about your MIL, but it looks like she realized the errors of her ways by the end. The dress was for Jaedyn awesome and Ariel's Grotto looks like alot of fun. I was debating whether to do it or not, Now I have to take my 4DD's even though one is a massive tomboy.

I appreciate everyone and there patience with me i know i should have been finished earlier but it was a task to get it finished .... as i type my kids that should be in bed are fighting over a pillow downstairs Next trip is definately without MIL and as far as a PTR i might, but not until 2 months before we leave WE WILL SEE!!!! I just read your TR from beginning to end. Your TR was awesome and it made me laugh and cry. You have the best family and your kids are the coolest and sweetest! It made me cry when I read how unselfish your kids are and especially when your DD gave that little girl a pin that helped her to stop crying. You are a great mom and I can't believe your MIL was so mean towards you (right up until the end). I'm glad she apologized to you but I'm sorry you had to put up with her. I made this pic for you:

Misty...I have finally had the chance to finish reading your report. I really don't know how you didn't lose it with MIL sooner. Jaydyan looked beautiful in her dress and you could tell she was having a ball at the breakfast!!! That was very sweet of MIL to get you the tickets.

2009??? Maybe a DIS meet could be planned! I'm in!!!
