May Exercise Challenge- 38,344 minutes!!!

The challenge is on. And it's a challenge by you to you! Challenge yourself to do "x" number of minutes of exercise this month and then JUST DO IT!

Post here as frequently as you like and I will start a list in this post and keep it updated as frequently as I can throughout the month. As you post, please tell me how many minutes you have through that date and what your total challenged number is. For example "I did 60 minutes on the treadmill yesterday, and am now at 60/1200".

As you reach milestones for the month, your name and total will change color in this post.

At 10%, you'll be bright pink
When you reach 25%, you'll be orange
When you reach 50%, you'll be purple
When you reach 75%, you'll be turquoise
At 90%, you'll be red (because you are on fire!)
When you hit 100%, you'll be WISH green!


So, let's go, everyone! Post your self-challenge, and I'll make the list here, and then let's watch the list change color!

I'll start. I am challenging myself to 1200 minutes. It will be a crazy month full of travel and meetings, so I am hoping I can just hit my goal this month even though in April I passed it by a lot.
 
I'm in for 1200 again.

I'm planning on doing a better job of updating on a regular basis 'cause I missed being on fire in April. Who wouldn't want to be girl on fire? ;)

Lisa - Glad to have some company here. :) Yes, you missed your chance to be a girl on fire in April. :( Gotta make sure that doesn't happen again this month. ;)
 
I am in again for the exercise challenge. My goal for May will be 1100 mins. If I stick to the plan I have set for myself for the month I will be over that.
 


Can new people join? I am just getting into running/walking with a goal of being able to finish the Princess half marathon in 2013. I would love to be a part of group that supports and encourages each other to exercise

Ok, I am gonna keep my goal at 1000, I mean, hey, there are 31 days in May - I can do this!!!
Plus, I want to be a girl on fire!!!

I'm in for 900 minutes this month. If I don't aim high, I'll have another not on fire month. Thanks Cam!

I'm going to try for 2500 minutes again this month, but I'm going away for the last week and a half or so of May, so I'll keep up and then disappear towards the end.
 
After months of trying to catch it just right at the beginning of the month, I'd love to join for May!

I'm going to set my goal for 1200 mins again (only this time I have a whole month to do it in :))

Cam, thank you again for hosting this month. I *might* try hosting in June, of course, without your finesse and aplomb.

I'll try 2000 again. Thankfully, my pup loves to go walking, which definitely helps with those minutes. I will be at WDW all next week - woo hoo! I am planning to wear my pedometer and I might try to log my steps, divide them into miles walked, then calculate how much time it usually takes me to walk that many miles. Then again, I might decide that's way too much math and just skip next week.

Also, next week is my first Run Disney race - the Expedition Everest Challenge!!! Still can't believe I'm doing this....here's hoping and praying that this cold that's threatening to take over my sinus cavity gives up on me.
 
Hi everyone. I'm new over here as well. We started C25K today! My plan is to walk on the other days. So I think 1000 minutes is a good realistic goal. :)
