Thanks for the well wishes. I think I am better, now if I can survive the recovery (saline irrigations - blegh) I will be fine.

Thanks for asking about the house Peter. I am now dragging people off the street to look at our house. Some poor family stopped to get a brrochure from the box and I made them come in and look at the house. We visited the new house this week, looks like they are about ready to drywall soon, better get this one sold.

Joe, Great trip report. I also concur with your thoughts in your eval.

But I must say a very special part of the trip was meeting the great DIS folks. That really adds magic to our trips.

We will definitely do another cruise just not sure when. Might have to borrow some points and just go next Fall. Will see as we will do the Africa Safari in January.

I can not believe it. I had to check out ebay for the inaugural pin. There is one there with a bid of $92.00.

I've been off an don reading this thread and am glad the western is so good! We're booked for May of next year already Just a small note for all of you who have missed my other note: I took a lot of pics of the Magic leaving that day from Grill's where we had dinner just to see you all off. I've put together a bunch and you can find them in this thread

Now I do have a question for you, is the Pride really that much bigger from the perspective of being on the Magic? From our point of view dockside that ship falls into the too big category.

Word from the locals was that the Pride will be on another itenerary soon being replaced by an even bigger brand new Glory. That's what all the construction at the terminals is for, to handle the extra traffic and parking.

if everyone forgot about this thread. I had already started a thread on 5/17/03 Eastern Cruise, if anyone is interested. It is way down on the list. I figured it would stay there till we get closer to the date.

My dad is doing great, he is back at work. Still trying to get more energy. They say it will take a good 2 to 3 months before his energy will be back to normal.

I have an ear infection ever since we have been back. I have to see a Ear/Nose/Throat specialist again. We believe I might have a hole in my ear drum again. I hope not, I don't want to go through that surgery again. I have had chronic ear problems since I was a child due to allergies.

Anyway, we are getting worked up on our trip to the TN/NC mountains in Sept. (13 weeks)!

Guess, I better get to work. Talk with ya'll later!

HI EVERYONE....

I am still alive and well and desperately trying to plan our next cruise. I guess that is one good thing about living in Florida...I don't have to worry about transportation.

Unfortunately I will probably not be on the Magic...I am looking at either the Carnival Pride, or Carnival Paradise. They are sooo much cheaper than the Magic (unless Disney releases Florida resident rates) I haven't booked anything yet so we will see.

Sorry everyone is missing the nice warm weather...If it makes you feel any better the weather has been really nasty so far. It has been humid and rainy for the past week. We actually got hail today (yuck)
