Since MSEP will probably be gone when we go (like everyone else 9/30) do you think they will add another parade premium option?
.
There wouldn't be another nighttime parade so don't know if they could have any BB Premium. Even at Christmas there would just be a daytime parade which would be before any of the dinner packages.

No more Fantasmic! dining package update/reports? Would love to know if the BB and RBT areas are combined or separated (had been mixed reports) and what food was good or not good and how early you had to get to the area to have a good viewing of the show. I'm visiting from Colorado in about 10 days. Thanks so much for your input!

We had the Blue Bayou package on Monday night. Our party had Surf and Turf, Citrus Chicken ( gluten free) , and Bone in RibEye. We enjoyed every dish. The Sorcer Mickey Dessert was as delicious as it was adorable.

Our Fast Passes were for the second showing. We arrived at 9:45 to the entrance by the Harbor Galley. The cast members dropped the rope at 10:00 and escorted us to our section. There isn't a bad spot in the whole section! All sections were clearly divided by ropes.

Thanks for reporting your experience!! Did you get a cushion with the BB package? Were you seated with the RBT people? Just curious. I have reservations for both restaurants over 6 days. Our trip is coming up soon.

Despite poor reviews for the Blue Bayou, I thought our meal there back in January was MUCH better than the one we had at Carthay Circle even though that restaurant seems to get good reviews. Maybe BB has been trying harder to please the guests and Carthay is slacking. Anyway, looking forward to eating at BB again.

Yes, we got a seat cushion. We were only seated with Blue Bayou Fastpass holders. All of the sections were clearly separated and monitored at the entrances.
Our food was prepared perfectly and it was delicious!

I do believe there has been some consistency lately in regards to how dining sections are divided now. There are three sections along the riverfront for the three dining sections, with BB being the center area, RBT on the side closer to Big Thunder, and HB on the side closer to the Mansion. They have all three packages come in through the Harbor Galley, walk down, and then are allowed into their respective dining sections as all the sections have a dedicated entrance with a CM monitoring. I have heard on occasion that HB guests are allowed into the BB area just before showtime if it is not as crowded, but it is on a show-by-show basis.

Does anyone know if people who purchase the premium (stay in your seats for Fantasmic) package at RBT can stay to watch the fireworks, too?

Excuse the double post, but it has just been announced that Cafe Orleans will be having a Fantasmic dining package while the RBT is under refurbishment. This will at least ensure some consistency in regards to the seating sections as CO will be a direct substitute for RBT.

Awesome! Never eaten at Cafe Orleans! And I like that they have packages from 11:30am onwards, so you can do a lunch.

Reservations open August 15. Available Sept 5-Nov 16.

I'm curious to know what will be included on the menu? Please say Monte Cristo!!

Never had it before, but it sounds delicious! :hyper:

I just got a cancellation booking for BB in Sept, it was otherwise booked out, I've been checking every day! I do wonder how it will differ for arrival and seating once shows got to weekends only. Hope they still have the cushions those look super cute!

Anyone know when we can book for October? I looked online and it doesn't seem to be available yet... or is it all gone already?

60 days out from your date is when you can book any dining reservation.

For October the packages will only be on Sat / Sun nights due to MHP's.
To get an idea of what dates are available to book you can look at something like Minnie's B/F which shows bookings available up to Tue 3rd October at the moment.
You won't see availability for Fantasmic during the week as it is only weekends for October so they're not gone yet just not released yet.
The reservations for the next day (in the 60 day window) 'usually' show up online at 3am PST each day.
The new option for Cafe Orleans won't go on sale till August 15th? wasn't it?

This is interesting since on Wednesday we ate at RBT and were mixed in with BB - we sat in what you posted as now the BB-only section. HB people were NOT let in our section for the 9:00 show.

Obviously they are making changes, so people planning should take all current situations with a grain of salt, I think!
I experienced the same thing last Thursday. We dined at RBT and were mixed in with BB. In fact they told us we could go right up to the rail but we opted to be further back since I was videotaping and taking pics. Then on Friday we did HB and were just slightly to the left of center right next to BB & RBT peeps.
