We continue to trend upwards in new cases. Between the county report yesterday morning and today, we rose 190 in confirmed cases in this county. People continue to not make good choices.
Here is a web site that show deaths per 100,000 per state among other info. It is updated every day, maybe not weekend.Dropping here in Colorado. We were never hit very hard compared to other states.
Depends where you are. We have public testing (California) where you sign up and get tested if you want. You can't having symptoms. If you have symptoms you have to go through your doctor. Is testing going to remain self referred or shift to Dr referral soon? I hope it remains self referral but I can't really tell.
My town has 500 cases and 34 deaths and zero nursing home deaths.
These differences could possibly be attributed to different strains of the virus - west coast (DLgal) primarily came from Asia; east coast (mjkacmom) primariy came from Europe.Wow! That's a lot of deaths. How big is your town?
Our city of almost 300,00 has 189 cases and zero deaths. We have no nursing homes in our city, as far as I know.
What state are you in? Sorry they are on the rise!
I’ve been following Washington since my DD moved there right at the beginning of this. You have a couple of counties on the rise but as a whole, Washington seems to be doing pretty well. Seattle is mostly flat at this point. Those smaller counties have a rise of 50 cases here and 21 cases there that pushes Washington into the “rising” category. It’s the same in Nevada where Clark County/Las Vegas is flat/decreasing but you have smaller counties that have a rise of 10-20 cases pushing us as a whole on the “up” side. I personally don’t find either alarming when I look at the overall totals.washington
Is this for the U.S. or a particular state?
There was a big concern due to family gatherings over Memorial Day. I haven't heard much at all regarding the virus.
