Not bad options for us, luckily they have nonstops from BWI to California! Was about 35k points each, or just over $500ish per person. I booked with points this time because we aren't 100% sure if we're going yet, so we wanted the better flexibility. Now the question we'll have to juggle is do...

Double post - we forgot to check in for our return flight from WDW last week. I was an hour late. We still managed to get B37! I was shocked. I'm also sitting here eagerly awaiting the next drop. We're hopefully going to DL next August and I'm nervous to see how crazy the flights are - I'm so...

Best/creative things for characters to sign?

We're taking our 15 month old on his first trip in a few weeks. I'm not sure if he'll love or hate the characters, but I'd love to have an idea in place to get the characters' autographs if he does end up loving them. I don't really want to do a traditional autograph book, I'm thinking something...

    Car service cost

That's roughly the pricing I found when booking. We ended up booking Away We Go and it came to $240 roundtrip, tip included.

Tips for not getting sick on Guardians!

Does anyone with mild motion sickness have problems on guardians? I can ride regular roller coasters without problem, but I do struggle with screen rides/3D glasses. The worst rides for me are Remy's and Forbidden Journey at Universal (though basically all the Universal screen rides get me). I...

How many more days until your trip to WDW - Part 9

24 more days! It's my son's first trip, I'm so excited I want to start packing already 😂

Traveling with a 2 year old

Yes Uber will definitely be the cheapest option. You can also check Lyft, it might be marginally cheaper. Edit: you should be able to bring your own car seat. Just as a note, Uber only provides forward facing car seats, they do not supply rear facing ones.

Disney's POP CENTURY RESORT Information & Questions

Is our best bet to receive connecting rooms by calling/sending a fax a few days before arrival? I know they aren’t guaranteed but I’d like to boost our chances. We already mentioned connecting rooms and the confirmations numbers when we booked, but wasn’t sure there was anything else we could do...

2023 Candlelight Processional Narrators list — Dining packages available for booking October 17/23 (link below)

We managed to snag a Biergarten ressy for the 7pm show with NPH! It took 3 of us looking and we had to fudge our party numbers to a party of 4 instead of party of 2 and will have to modify later. Weird that there wasn't anything for just two but there was for four.

So looks like our MDW flights will never go down in price. I was one day late to booking the flights after the schedule opened, and they were already down to only the Anytime fares :crazy2:. I've been waiting in hopes that they just didn't release all of the WGA fares, but apparently that's not...

    Shared shuttle or private transfer?

They only have forward facing car seats, our son is still rear facing. Otherwise I would definitely go this route

    Shared shuttle or private transfer?

We're going in December with our 1.5 year old, and I'm trying to determine if we should use the Mears shared shuttle or splurge for a private transfer. We'll be sharing a private transfer with my in-laws on the way home, but we're on our own on the way down. It looks like it'll be ~$90 more to...

Just looked to book our flights out of BWI in May. No WGA fares for the way down, so hopefully they post those in the coming days and it's not already sold out! RT would be $975 for one person!! I expected to pay more because we're traveling around MDW, but that's absolutely absurd. It's more...

Anyone added a lap child at the airport before? We flew last weekend and I had added a lap child when we booked, and it didn't let me check-in on my phone in advance because I needed to confirm his age at the airport, leading me to get a crappy boarding position. I noticed when using the...

"Official" 2023 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party - Yuletide Joy

I think it depends on your baby. We're going in December when our son will be 15 months, and we're forgoing it with him. He goes to bed at 7, and doesn't really do well if we try to push him past 8. So we wouldn't have a ton of time. If your LO goes to bed later or does okay with a changing...

Is 2.5 days enough for first time?

I think our main priorities are just rides/shows with our son, and maybe a handful of E-tickets or rides that are DL exclusive. Since we frequent WDW I'm not super pressed about getting on child swap rides if we can just do them in WDW later. My guess is we'll do Genie+ just for convenience but...

Is 2.5 days enough for first time?

Our plan was to do both! I haven't taken a look yet, so I'm not sure how much our son will be able to do at DCA. I'll have to research that today, because that would be a big swing for how many days we'll stay if he can't do much there.

Is 2.5 days enough for first time?

We have a wedding out in Malibu next summer, and were considering extending our trip and doing a few days in Disneyland. My initial thoughts were to drive down to Anaheim the Sunday after the wedding, and then do 3 full park days and fly home on Thursday. But the more I think about it, I'm...

Major win! Our December flights to MCO didn't drop in price with the promo, but our August trip to Hilton Head did! I managed to get back just shy of 11,000 points for my husband and I. Two round trip tickets for only 22k points total, what a steal!
