For close we like Best Western Park Place Inn and Suites...it's the closest. Our other favorite is Homewood Suites Convention Center. It's about a block from the Toy Story parking lot and you can ride the shuttle to the parks for free.

We did the premium package once. Had a pretty crappy view and I wouldn’t do it again unless there was a reason the ground seating wouldn’t work for someone in your party. I much prefer the upfront and center option with Blue Bayou.

We did the premium package once and I don’t feel it was worth it. We had a table in what I would call the third row and the view was definitely obstructed. We were told the seating is not first come/first served and you can’t request a table. It’s just the luck of how they need to fit everyone...

There was one on our last visit this past May. Other than the lines of busses we passed in the Toy Story Lot, I didn’t notice.

Not Lamplight specific, but I’ve often found if I search by time instead of by meal I get more options.

Be aware that even with the DAS there will be some rides where you are still in close quarters and the lines can be overwhelming. We go with my nephew on occasion who has some similar issues to what you describe. Splash Mountain is very hard for him. Guardians, Star Tours and Soarin can also...

We ate there with a vegan friend. They offered her the veggie tower or an off menu vegetable pasta dish. She picked the pasta and said it was one of the best meals she’s ever had.

Yes you need to book Lansky ahead of time. We’ve used them and Uber without any issues.

We Uber to the parks frequently in the mornings. I put Disneyland as the destination and they drop me off on Harbor (although the address shows as 1313 Disneyland Blvd). It’s about $6 from our hotel which is also a mile away.

On a MM/EMH day at DL or DCA, I still get there an hour early. I think it’s more important for DL than DCA though. I haven’t done EMH at DCA as a hotel guest. However, once when I arrived at DCA on an EMH day an hour before regular opening the CMs were passing out EMH tickets to non-hotel...

I think it depends on the rides you want to do...I’d make a list and see how they split between parks and then decide about hoppers. Max Pass for sure though.

Big rope drop fans. We generally arrive an hour before opening. We’ll be there this Sun thru Wed. On a FB group someone suggested arriving 90-120 minutes before opening has rope drop gotten that crazy or are we still good with an hour before opening?

But Max Pass when you enter the parks. The upgrade for the hopper will be the same amount if you add it day 1 or day 3...so add it day 1.
