My brother-in-law and his wife are there right now and he texted me that it was 34 degrees this morning.
Yes, it’s been an unusually cold few days as predicted last week.

Tomorrow it’s supposed to be mid-50’s in the morning and go up to 70 but unfortunately rainy.

Today was cold and windy, so not much action around the pools. But since the pools are heated people do swim in fairly cold temperatures. They just appear to delay getting out of the pool as long as possible. I would guess it depends on what you are used to.
I'm good with going in on cold days as long as the pool is heated.

OMG...that's like here in NH...brrrrr. For me, 60's would be beautiful though, and it looks good for my week, except it says rain for a few days in a row.

This is not really a POP question, but I know you guys will know this. Is the world showcase still open at 11 a.m. and not when the rest of the park opens?

Yes. The bakery in France and Norway open at 9am, but none of the other pavilions open until 11.

Hey, getting into the pool when it's cold out is marvelous---it's the getting out that's a bit less thrilling. :D

One Guest we talked to had a great suggestion-they should make the floors of Skyliner see-through!

Funny enough I was just thinking about this last night and saying how glad I was that they didn't go crazy and put in glass floors, LOL! That would not work well for me! 😄

Just had to share that I made a room-only reservation for POP for 2021! Looking forward to it. Now to figure out a good location for someone that will be using an ECV. 🤔

Just curious, is anyone else having problems seeing the photos posted on page 1?

Is it to cold in Florida now, to go in the pool in the afternoon? Will I see people in the pool at all?
If the Pools are open, there will be a few Guests in there usually.

Pool hours were shortened the last 2 days and when the Pools were open the Lifeguard to Guests ratio was about one to one!lol

It has been the coldest temps in 2 years-even causing the famous "Iguana Warnings" south of here!lol

Yes, I've had to use an ECV a couple of times before I had my knee replacement. Stayed at POP. It doesn't matter where you stay, you can get around easily from any room.

Absolutely any. Elevators are plenty big. I like 70s facing the lake, top floor.

Thanks! I use a larger (but within Disney limits) ECV (see pick below). I have a cane holder on the back and it seems to make things a little snug when trying to fit into the elevator. How wide (maneuverable) are the exterior "hallways" on the upper floors? I had been considering getting a ground floor room.

As others have shared, there is no problem getting ECV's into any of the rooms. The doorways are standard width. Possibly the HA rooms have wider doorways? @RaySharpton will know more about those doors and I'm sure he'll respond here.

I stayed on an upper floor. I had no problems with the exterior hallways. And my ECV was exactly the same size as yours, nice and comfy.

Are the buses to Epcot and Studios still running hourly? My guys are headed there next weekend and can‘t (claustrophobic) ride the Skyliner. They prefer Uber anyway. I’d just like to prepare them for the bus changes if they’re still in effect.

Also, does this apply in reverse? Is the bus service decreased from the park going back to POP?

Depends on where you are in the 50’s. I was in building 3 on my most recent trip, at the end of the building closest to the lake so it was maybe five minutes. If you were in the farthest room probably ten minutes tops. I was way out in the 80’s the trip before that and it was about ten.

Awesome, thank you for that info! We request Building 3 in the 50's :)

This is how buses are running when the Skyliner is open. Before it opens and after it closes, buses are running more frequently. Yes, it applies in both directions.
