Awesome news on the Crunchie front. My wife had a quick annual medical eval today and we met for lunch a few blocks from my office. There is an upscale candy store here that generally has Lion, Bounty, maybe a Whispa or two, but never Crunchie. Until today. They just started to carry them. Bless you Andy's Candy!

Good Friday morning from a cloudy and very Fall-ish St. John's, NL.
Had a frost advisory last night (thankfully didn't get any) but temps are only at 8C/46F today. It's supposed to get better for the weekend though with sun and temps back up to 18C/64F. Not too bad, but it's the time of year here in the North where you realize you might as well put the sandals back in the basement and bring up the winter boots.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are in my town having their training camp, and the place has gone nuts. People camped out overnight to get tickets to sit and watch the camp. I'm not anti-Leafs, but you would catch me lined up that long for a hockey training camp, no matter what team.

I'd be disappointed without lasers and a fog machine. I should just put them in the foyer of my house all year round.

That may be the best idea I've seen on these boards.

Rainy one here today. And I'm okay with that. Put a new lawn in about a week ago.

Now I'm really looking forward to telling people: "Get off my lawn!"

Morning All, beautiful morning here with temps a bit better than NL and will be in 70s later today.

More bad luck with cars this week. Left the office on Wednesday and the battery in my car was dead.. Luckily I was on my way to Enterprise to pick up a rental for a little road trip I had yesterday so I got them to pick me up. Bought a new battery last night and put it in when I got back. Now we are good to go.

Had a really interesting day yesterday. I was invited to a workshop that was based on two longitudinal studies about physical activity. One started out as a study on nicotine dependency in teens and they have been tracking about 1300 people for over 20 years. They realized that a lot of their data could be used to study physical activity as well. The other has been going on for about 9 years and is tracking about 900 youth since they were 10 years old. This one was purposely constructed to study physical activity and as a by product we can find out information about sport participation and the differences between kids that try multiple sports at a young age and the kids that specialized in one sport.

Harvesting goes full swing for me tonight, looking forward to the next couple of days. With today being Friday the 13th and a full harvest moon, tonight could be interesting.

Not much else apart from I found a painted rock from Winnipeg in Animal Kingdom, took a photo of it in front of the Tower of London, and now my facebook is filled with notices from Winnepegian Women. Who apparently like painting rocks. More power to them.
