Picked up a few things for our September trip!!!

Sorry I got a bit behind, Jenny; the work weeks make it difficult to keep up.

After resting up a bit, we all met up and walked back over to MK. We had reservations at Skipper Canteens to get to and let me say...This was probably THE best meal of the trip.

That's awesome to hear! I'm going there this trip and am excited about the menu changes since I went there last time 3 years ago.

I started with the Passion fruit Sangria. This was so wonderful and refreshing that we ordered a second round. I will be having this again next month, no doubt about it...

I absolutely cannot wait to try this!

I had never ridden it before.

I've ridden it several times and honestly I've never been sorry that I did. Usually late at night, when it's a walk-on. It's just so darned cute.

Saturday, August 10th...

We all slept in again this morning and then hopped back on the monorail for brunch. We had a 10:30 am reservation at 1900 Park Fare. We took Gia here when she was a baby and she grabbed the syrup and spilled in all over herself. Talk about a sticky mess...Matt and Timmy had only been here for dinner, years ago, when Matt proposed to both stepsisters, complete with paper rings (got called out and had to explain himself. LOL!) So, we were all looking forward to it.

We arrived at the GF pretty quickly and didn't wait long for our table. The food was really good and the characters came around pretty quickly, except for Tigger. He now meets out in the hallway. Again, when did this happen??? Alice, the Mad Hatter, Pooh and Mary Poppins came to our table.

After brunch, we decided to spend some time at the pool. Chip and Dale came by for a while and Gia got to play a game of Bags with them, which was really cute. Do you all call it Bags or Corn Hole?

After a few hours at the pool, we all had to shower and change. Matt and Timmy were going to babysit Gia for a few hours so Julie and I could spend some adult, sister time in DS. Then, we were all meeting my good friend Kari aka @kastoney and her family for dinner at Frontera Cocina.

So, while Matt and Timmy took Gia to the World of Disney store, Julie and I made ourselves at home at Winebar George. Julie had a glass of red and I ordered a glass of Sangria (I know, big surprise at this point). We shared the fried mac and cheese appetizer and I ordered the Dole Whip Froscato cookie (which I thought was just a sugar cookie that I was going to eat later on that night but had to eat it right away, because I screwed up. It was really an ice cream sandwich). OMG!!! It was sooooo good. Unfortunately, it totally ruined my appetite for dinner...This thing was HUGE!

Dinner with Kari and her family was a lot of fun. I missed her so much and it was so nice finally meeting her family. I don't count the first time I met them because it was so quick (we were literally walking past each other and I happened to notice them. We said a fast hello and then Kari came by our table at LTT to say hi since our lunch ressies were about the same time. This was probably 2 years ago). We enjoyed some drinks. Jason, Julie, and Matt may have eaten a grasshopper or 2 (you can see all of that in my next vlog), and enjoyed a great meal together. Julie and I split the queso app, which was phenomenal.

All too soon, it was time to say goodbye. We all went our separate ways, as the Stone family was just beginning their vacation and ours was coming to an end...

Julie, Gia, Matt, Tim and I drove back to the CR, said our goodbyes and went to bed. The Tragic Express was picking me and the boys up at 8 am the next morning...

Last time I went I agonized for 10 months over what to wear to MNSSHP and ended up wearing shorts and buying a t-shirt in Disney
