There is no need for Disney to offer these discounts for October. It is already a very busy month due to all the activities already scheduled and booked.

Disney uses these discounts to fill rooms that have not sold.

Yes I realize that. Typically October is a super busy month. But this year the availability for October is wide open at pretty much every hotel. So there are plenty of rooms left to fill.

What I'm not understanding is I am currently booked at POP! 10/22-10/30 with 5 days of tix my current rate is $3,054.58... When I click on the fall discount it make my trip MORE expensive $3,342.54
How does that make any sense?

I tried calling to see if its a glitch and of course all circuits are busy

We booked a free dining bounce back during our last August trip. We are going Dec 20-27. I just checked the current offer and to book the exact same package under the current offer would be an increase of $1072. They've really just gone batty with their pricing. Ridiculous.

Got the AP discount for our short stay in November at POR. For $40 a night more, could book Gran Destino Tower, but my daughter would rather save the money and stay at POR. I'm torn. Wouldn't mind checking out the new place .

ADDENDUM: I’m *attempting* to save $50 a night. Is anyone having trouble with modifying on the website and/or getting a busy signal when calling 407-WDISNEY?
