Yep, gonna be a few confused folks wandering over. Not much Disney can do aside from make it clear at every step how it'll go. If someone isn't paying attention, oh well.

Don’t know how that would work. ID is required to use this and your name is on the reservation. I don’t think you can transfer them to another person.

I thought the primary person has their name and the rest are "guest" is that not right?

Any guest over 18 is also required to present an ID according to the description given today.

I was following the thread over on the DLR board and people reserving with guests had to enter each guest's name.

Correct you had to explicitly enter each person's name and it did say each guest over 18 needed government issued ID

The reservations went so fast for DL...can’t even imagine how fast they would go for WDW if they have a similar set up.

Given the huge number of resort rooms compared to California for the same sized land, I think they will have to go a different route.

And yet GE is the same size so only a finite number of people can be in it at the same time. Disney will need to come up with some system that keeps people from getting crushed not to mention the “guest experience”.

I mean the land will still have a capacity, so just like Pandora people are going to have to wait outside the land before they can be let in. This is in the case that they won't do reservations.

Yikes. This is pretty rough news for general guests, considering the reports of how many hotel guests booked several regular reservations in addition to their hotel slot. That should not have been allowed, IMO.

Disney dropped the ball on limiting people to one visit. Bummer for all those who were disappointed today!

Could they not have limited each guest to 1 timeslot between opening and the end of June? I would think it would be pretty easy to control, since you need a Disney account to book a timeslot, right?

I don't see how WDW is going to be able to handle the onsite hotel guests, let alone the general public for its grand opening. If I'm paying onsite hotel prices then I better be able to get into the land. How in the world is this going to work?
