Last year except for PP, HM & 7DMT, yes. We did Barnstormer 13 times, 5 without getting off, Winnie the Pooh 2X. Speedway 3X. Buzz 2X. We did do HM 3x. PP & 7DMT 1x. Dumbo 3X. Teacups 3X. Sold Out party too.

Did you watch the parade and fireworks as well? And visit all the treat sites? Just curious because it sounds amazing that you got on so many rides!!

HI everyone! I am so excited, I just booked a room for me, my dd who will be 7 at the time of the party, and a friend of mine. All girls trip! It will be super fast trip, drive in Saturday do party on Sunday and drive home Monday (we live in florida) this will be the first Christmas party we've ever atrended!! I know nothing about the Christmas event so I'm gonna have to start on page one and try to read this post. Can you give me any tips, must do's, or ideas to make this all girls trip super special for my little girl!? Thanks!

If you go to last year’s thread, last page, I posted my itinerary. Yes, 1st Parade then fireworks. Watched last Mickey’s Merriest show. Hit the free treats along the way as we passed by.

Sweet! You can find our all MVMCP details in Post #1. Post #2 is Holiday Happenings, holiday events at WDW, Post #3 should be previous threads, you can see full details from past MVMCP with comments from PP attending parties. Post #4 Christmas merchandise.

Tips and must do's really depends on what you expect/want to do at the party. Just characters, or a few characters, rides, parade & fireworks.

The link for th he shirts I bought finally popped up in my feed again.
Here is the link for anyone interested. I bought the classic tee.
Just got a shipment email today say.

Thank you for the link... they look so GREAT... My only concern is that is looks like they don´t ship to Norway.
I might have them shipped to our resort, but I don`t know if they will sell them in about 4 weeks?

I just ordered one Christmas shirt, but I might wear it the day I do Epcot Christmas stuff and may NEED a second one......

It also has just occurred to me that I added a couple days to my trip for Universal and I have not one thing to wear there. Way more than enough Disney shirts though!

Hi all! Are any of you booking FP's with your party tickets? I'm so scared to do it, for fear of my last day of FP's getting cancelled. Anyone have any insights?

Book your regular FP+ 1st, then your MVMCP FP+ last. There were not as many problems this year as long, according to posts. Is your party at end of trip or after FoG, SDD, 7DMT? OP posted that they called and IT "resolved," some called until got a CM who would help. It really depends on day of MVMCP, your comfort level, diligent on checking emails (they do send before cancelling), and willingness to call IT if any issues. Comport level and stress being the most important.

We are AP holders, so no issues here, and 2 years ago, before AP, this wasn't am issue. But based on your statement of fear, then no, unless willings/can do what's listed above.

Thank you! I'm actually planning a trip for my friends, so I won't actually be there. Their FP's are booked, and SDD and 7DMT are AFTER their party day. I've been debating if I should book them FP's for the party..... It's their first trip (which is why I've planned everything). I won't be there to monitor emails. I'm leaning towards not booking.... Are the ride lines pretty long between 4pm and 6pm?

I am.
I unfortunately ran into problems for MNSSHP because I contacted Disney to reserve DME and make room requests after I booked my FP+ which sent up the red flag.
This time I already did those things and my FP+ day is Monday.
I have no plans to contact Disney after that for any reason so my FP+ selections should be good to go this time.
That's really the key.
DON'T CONTACT DISNEY AFTER YOU MAKE YOUR SELECTIONS.

If planning for friends, then IMO, no. On arrival to party, they could reserve FP+, tap-grab-modify.....

Ride Wait times (posted in app even during party) ---Depends on what you consider really long. Not sure, last year was 1st time closing @ 6pm was implemented as trial for MVMCP only. This year, MK closes at 6 for MNSSHP & MVMCP. OP posted both ways, I believe more PP stated short(er) waits except for the main rides (7DMT, PP, SM). Also, reporting parties are super crowded, if so, then ride lines would be longer than expected. I'm not doing MNSSHP this year, only MVMCP, so not really for sure on true crowd levels vs individual's perspective, and if they had a plan or just showed up, which would definitely skew their reports on crowd levels and ride wait times. No MVMCP to report on yet.

Thanks for the input! Does anyone know which ride is usually busier during the party - Jingle Cruise or Splash Mountain? I'm thinking Jingle Cruise because of the overlay, and the weather may be too cool for some people to do water rides......am I off base?

I think it will really depend on the weather. When we went last year we had a FP for splash for I want to say 5 and it was packed over there, but it was still in the mid 70's at that time. We had a FP right after for jingle cruise and we honestly wouldn't have needed it. I'm not sure how either were once day guests left, but I would think they'd probably be pretty similar as long as it's still mildly warm.

Is Jingle cruise better at night or is seeing it during the day sufficient? I believe someone said its an all day ride not just party specific

I read that you should see it in the daytime since some of the decorations have decreased visibility at night. Having never experienced Jingle Cruise myself, I'm not sure how valid this opinion is. The article did make me rethink my plan to ride it after dark, though.

We are only going to the Xmas party. Can we book FP for 4-6pm that day?
Will we need our wristbands from last year? I have no idea where they are. Oops.
